The shower was not working properly. Early in the morning just opened the door and entered in the room while I was in bed. When I asked the manager about the problems she was throwing her staff under the boss. No accountability and no responsibility. It is definitely far from a 4 star hotel.

Conveniently located. Professional Staff. Beautiful premise. Well maintained. Clean room. Comfortable beds.

Great property. Located right in the heart of historic Cusco, easily within walking distance of most of the city’s main attraction.

From the welcome to the hotel, the upgraded room, and then the complimentary taxi service when leaving all played a role into our positive experience! The hotel is absolutely beautiful with the plaza in the center welcoming, clean and perfect for a scenic breakfast!

Nice atmosphere
4.0
The hotel is lovely in a very nice location and clean. The staff are really friendly.
The only downside is that in a double room in the modern side you do not get shower gel…apparantly only the superior rooms get that! I don’t think that is good enough for a four star hotel.

Room is clean and has a nice view but front door staff is not welcoming
Hotel located in a very quiet lane and not too far from city’s main square

We stayed here after the Sacred Valley between trips on the Inca Trail and Ausangate. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice. There is a restaurant on site and laundry across the street that is open 24 hours. We didn’t have a chance to explore the area around the hotel but it does seem like a very central location in Cusco.

Very good property with nice spacious rooms and good service.

I absolutely loved the Novotel Cusco! The staff was super friendly, and very helpful. The Novotel is located in the perfect location, quick ride to and from the airport, and a short walk to the main square in Cusco, tons of shopping & dining. Rooms were spacious, quiet, very clean, with extras like a mini bar for purchase. The lobby has a wonderful ambiance with tons of natural light, and the included breakfast was amazing. Most importantly, I felt safe here traveling as a solo female.

This hotel is solid 3 stars, short of 4 stars.
Pros: comfortable bed and pillows
Cons: 4 hangers for 2 people; no place to put clothes (1 shelf with blanket on it); 2 power outlet - one on coffee table; 1 on ONE side of the bed; tiny night tables; leaking shower heads, water is not mixing evenly and smells (need better filtration).
Ah, water bottles!! They only provide water bottles for 1 night, so you have to find your water! C’mon Novotel! Replace glass bottles with plastic ones and provide for each night. A bottle is 1 sole!!!!
Breakfast was ok, nothing special but not bad
Staff is nice and attentive like in all Peru. Peruvians are hard working and super nice people.

The staff were always professional and helpful. Hotel is situated in a very convenient location which is walkable to Plaza de Armas and other places. Breakfast spread was limited but decent.
I felt shortchanged with only a day of bottled water provided despite me staying for 6 nights. The water pressure & temperature were inconsistent too.

Had an amazing time, staff friendly and helpful

This hotel is in a great location if you’re looking to stay around the historic center/Plaza de Armas. You can walk easily to many museums, restaurants, and parks. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet and the hotel restaurant are both wonderful.

Super close to Plaza de armas so you're able to go back to nap. Laundry is near by, wifi is super strong. Check in and out is very easy and the lobby is beautiful. My only bad experience is that the front staff said I was too early to check in (which I was) but if I signed up for the hotel loyalty program, I could go in my room earlier. Problem was, my friend was already checked in and in the room. So I declined and asked to just go up. He said I couldn't LOL. Not sure if it was a language barrier thing but I asked him to check with his supervisor and they eventually let me go up. Otherwise, the staff was very helpful and kind. I would definitely come back

Didn’t like this property. Not worth the price paid. Have to pay for coffee, regular coffee is so basic and should be included part of the steep price paid.
Check out was terrible. Only one employee at desk at checkout time, made no sense.
Would no recommend this hotel to my friends or family.

Overall staff and services excellent. Just let down a little by the condition of the room. I wouldn’t class this as a 4 star otherwise everything else excellent

We had a wonderful stay at this property! We had requested them to provide us with a room in their colonial wing, and they very gladly entertained our request. The room and all the amenities were very nice. We had breakfast on one of the days, and it was good too. The hotel is located in a very convenient spot, and honestly, that made a lot of difference while exploring the city. My husband even got a quick massage spa session done in the premise. Overall, we truly recommend it.
1.5
Great location and beautiful lobby, but overall a very average experience. Check in is slow, crowded, and paperwork feels endless. Rooms are very small, especially for a family, and decor/design of room is generic. Breakfast was an additional 60 PEN per person, which is excessive and makes you feel a bit ripped off. I understand if breakfast isn’t included, but 60 soles is way too much. Check out is also complicated with refund of deposits and charges and should really just be streamlined. Anyway, it’s still a good option for a convenient location in Cusco, but they could do better.
