It's about 9 years since we last stayed at this hotel and I am glad we made a return. The staff were so helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The air con was not working in the building and a fan was provided for the room. The hotel was quite and there was plewnty of parking. Plenty of breakfast options and an amazing shower in the bathroom. Food was also delicious. There were some downsides. We felt the evening menu was a little limited in the restaurant, the quality of food was superb though and the serving staff brought everything with a smile. I couldn't pick anyone person as sthey all srood out. The car park has pot holes, etc. Which is a real shame and it would be good to get the pot holes filled in. There was no hook in the bathroom, one of the clasps on the windows was damaged and the air con was not working (as previously mentioned) thankfully it was not too hot. The room was lovely, although it was disappointing that with 2 of us in the room there was only 1 chair. There was sufficient room for a second chair and possibly even a table. Wardrobe was good although very few hangers in it, also the shelves in it would have been better on the wall under the TV. The safe was an excellent idea for storing valuable and proved useful. the room was a good sizr.

Nice and calm hotel. Not much to do directly Herr, it's about 20minutes walk into Bromsgrove Center. We came here for a wedding, so it die not matter. Friendly staff, nice bar and restaurant, good breakfast which could have a little more options for foreign guests. The bed was a little too soft and small for our taste. Air condition did not work, however, they supplied a fan which did a good job

Great hotel. From the outside, looks quite rundown. The potholes in the carpark are awful. I was pleasantly surprised as soon as i entered the hotel. Everything looks recently refurbished. Our room was clean and inviting. The bar meals were fantastic as was breakfast the following morning.

Convenience location for the show we went to. Staff were very helpful. Will use again.

For over 24 hours there was a tray piled with dirty plates contains foods and rubbish in the corridor close to our room. Also fire doors were lodged open and others that were shut did not appear to fit according to fire safety and regulation. Both of these complaints were expressed to staff on duty at the reception desk.

What a nice hotel, thought it was gonna be a simple hotel like travelodge or prem inn. But it was so much more. Staff extremely helpful, bar food and restaurant fiid all excellent. Great variety for buffet breakfast and all fresh. Great swimming pool and other facilities. Well def be back again.

Overall good

Nice size family room lovely and clean hotel is spotless with lovely decor food was plentyful and nice the pool was great for the kids. Staff good no complaints from us. Good location to explore as west midlands safari park was within 20 minutes drive.

I enjoyed my 3 night stay here, staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was great, room was very well appointed. I was here for Harvington Hall’s history festival, and this is an easy 10 mins away from the Hall. I would stay here again if I attended the festival in future and I’d recommend it to others too

Lovely spacious quiet rooms, ideal stay after attending a wedding in the venue.

Receptionist was brilliant, as was our waitress, meal in the restaurant was very well presented & tasty. Lovely location & welcoming atmosphere. Thanks for a lovely experience.

Our stay was very good. The room was lovely however the view was roof tops so basically, no view! Breakfast was fine.

No aircon. 30 degree room, very loud road noise from the M5.

I wasn’t happy that at 2.00 am I was awoken to hear a tapping noise at our room door. Upon investigation I saw two men discussing drugs and have photo evidence of the left overs outside on the landing. I advised reception and they took a photo off my phone. I also had to advise that they clear the area asap as there were children in the hotel. The reception said there had been other complaints!!

bed cushions not very inviting, only 1 shower towel between us and only one packet of 3 biscuits between us and no tea bags only coffee

Hotel it self was good Breakfast was excellent!!! But what put us off, was our family room as it smelt due to the drains they couldn’t up grade us , as their was no more rooms available 😐 but left us a bottle of air- freshener 😕 of cause the smell was to strong to disguise , We check out early as we couldn’t stand the smell any longer, the reception's apology’s & offered us an upgrade next time we use their hotel, which remains to be seen.

Excellent stay. Clean, friendly hotel. Lovely pool. Tasty breakfast. Comfy beds. Only 20 minutes from WMSP.

Lovely place! My only small issue is that there is no mirror above the desk/dressing table. I had to stand in front of tea/coffee making facilities as there was a mirror behind the. Not good standing with my bad back. Only a very small thing which wouldn’t stop us returning!

I enjoyed our stay, we will be back. But I would just like to point out that the Accessible room (207) was fine once I managed to get into it but the doors and sharp corners are not easily manoeuvre’d. I invite your Manager to strap his legs together and go from reception to that room on his own and see how he gets on! Luckily I took my electric scooter instead of my wheelchair. All else was great.

The room air condition was broken and i was told we are aware of that we give you portable heating. Till morning my jaw was shaking from cold and got a bad cold. Busy hotel and under construction

It’s ok, just ok. I know they’re doing work on the place, but it needed it and they still have a way to go. Some of the rooms are extremely tired.

Very nice quick stay. Used the gym and the pool and although both were small they were big enough. The food at the bar was decent and the bed was comfy. All in all very good stay.

Despite the renovations there was no noise or dust. The room was comfortable and the shower amazing. We asked the staff a few things and they went above and beyond to get an answer for us. We ate in the restaurant for dinner. The food was excellent quality but heavily salted. The waiters were top notch. All in all an excellent stay.

I have stayed in this hotel many times however when booking I was not informed that the hotel was under refurbishment. II have to admit it is looking much better than my last visit. That is the only reason I have scored the area around the property as a 2 star

Top stay room was a little cold but a simple re guest and a heater was bought up to the room immediately and first class breakfast all in all a nice and very pleasant change
