Nice place, great view on the St-Laurence River. Easy to go to the Casino by the underground tunnel. Superb Gym! Pool, spa, outdoor heated pool… everything is awsome.

One night stay while visiting family in the region. Always beautiful, especially waking up on a sunny day; the view of the St Laurent river is spectacular. Very peaceful. Careful with wheelchair accessible room, I called prior to make sure we had the one room only. I was told that yes, our room was accessible. It wasn’t the room, although we could enter the room, the bathroom wasn’t accessible with a wheelchair and not enough space for transfers. The staff on duty, was great and help us find a room that would suit our needs.

All good except for doorman and bellmen at arrival and departure , completely absent ! We carried our luggage and parked our car ! No one to greet , say goodbye or offered to help! Not acceptable for a 5 star hotel ! Also, because we arrived much earlier , our room was not ready, (which we expected already and were ok with it ) but we were told by reception check in clerk we would be notified by text or email when ready ! Had time to store our luggage with bellman , go out to town for lunch , visited the facilities , then came back and waited in lobby until 5 PM ! The message never came ! ! 1 hour past check-in time of 4:00 PM! Then again had trouble getting my luggage back from bellman ( absent again ) who had given us a luggage claim coupon used usually for golfers , but we were not golfers ! Reception clerk took care of it ! It was clear to us that normal occasional travellers were not treated the same as the regular golf members! But that’s only our impression maybe ! However that’s still our impression ! Besides that, Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu is a beautiful , historical building , with great views of sun rise over the Saint -Laurent River ! Our room was comfortable , clean and had a great view! Shower was a little weak ! No water in fridge upon arrival ! Didn’t feel like eating at hotel ! Local restaurants are excellent and overall it was a beautiful drive all around with river and mountains views and local villages !

We had booked advising the hotel - that we had a small - 8 lb dog. We asked to sit on the patio with our well behaved dog for dinner. We were informed quite rudely by a male staff - absolutely not. 10 minutes prior the gentleman at reception who checked us in - said that we would be welcome to sit outside with our pet for dinner. Same conversation with the unpleasant staff downstairs in the restaurant. The location is beautiful at this hotel. We had room service and the food was average. We will not forget how rude the staff were to us. Definitely the most unpleasant Fairmont experience we have had.

Fabulous swimming pools, indoor and outdoor, gym, walking paths at different levels of difficulty, wonderful shops. Otherwise, I was disappointed. Very slow service and often not very customer oriented. Same price rooms can vary a lot in quality of view. I could at times hear some distant low tone mechanical or booming noise from my (inferior) water view room, including after midnight.

Fairmont properties are known for their customer attention and well-appointed hotels and this property is no exception. Our concierge Laurent was incredible and made recommendations which led us to have a more enjoyable experience than if we tried to put together our own plans. The best recommendation? Make a reservation at La Marmite Cafe & Bistro and you will not be disappointed and may dream about the meal for days to come! The Fairmont also gives you casino vouchers during your stay which adds to the fun. If there is any issue I had it was the parking lot. They were free to self-park which was great but they were all up the hills and there did not seem to be shuttles. This may make it challenging for anyone with mobility issues especially arriving late or leaving early.

Subject: Disappointing Experience at Le Manoir Richelieu As a loyal Fairmont customer, I regret to say that the service at Le Manoir Richelieu has been declining. For a hotel rated 4.5 out of 5, I was surprised to find no bottled water provided in the room. Additionally, the practice of nickel-and-diming for room upgrades feels unworthy of the Fairmont brand. To add to my disappointment, there was no service available after 10 PM. While I have been a dedicated guest, I am now considering other options due to the lack of satisfactory service. It’s unfortunate that your hotel remains my only convenient choice in the area, but I’ll be exploring alternatives.

Great for families! Have been here twice now as newly weds and now with kids ages 10/7 and it's great to see how they have evolved to meet the needs of families and not just kidless or young or mature crowds! We didn't get to take in all that was offered but had a delightful stay and would highly recommend a visit!

We loved our stay. Friendly and effective staff. Many activities available included with your stay. We were supposed to stay 1 night and decided to stay another and they offered us an upgrade for a few dollars. We would stayed a third night, but we had to go back to work 😉

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Manoir Richelieu during their 125th-anniversary event, and it was an unforgettable experience. The celebration was exquisite, with delightful cocktails and engaging animations that added a festive atmosphere to the event. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that guests had a memorable time, and their attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the evening. Our room was elegant and comfortable, providing a perfect blend of luxury and relaxation. The breakfast the next morning was another highlight of our stay. The variety of options available and the quality of the food were impressive, and the service was impeccable. However, there were a couple of small downsides to our otherwise wonderful stay. Firstly, there were no bottled waters in the room, and we had to request them. While this did not significantly impact our experience, it would have been a nice touch, especially after enjoying the evening's festivities. Secondly, I was a bit disappointed by the bar section. Despite having live musicians, the presence of a TV gave it a sports bar feel, and the loud conversations detracted from the ambiance we expected. Overall, our stay at the Manoir Richelieu was delightful, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a blend of history, luxury, and exceptional service. We look forward to returning in the future.

Very nice and romantic. Nice view. There was a dog in another floor that was barking in the morning. Not fun. The pool was crowded and the water didn’t seem sanitary. The Sunday brunch was good but we have seen better in Quebec City.

The swimming pool . Was beautiful. The hot ( pool ) was awesome . The weight room was fabulous . Real enjoy it . There was lots of activity around the place. The staff was very a helpful . Had a tour of the two special rooms . Lots of great history . The view was sensational .

The place was nice, as usual. But it wasn’t a « Fairmont » experience as usual. Usually, Fairmont staff pay attention to all the little details to make our stay « a special experience ». I asked 2 employees for two special requests, no big deal thing and they didn’t do anything for me. I was a little bit disappointed.

Expedia lead me to believe I would be paying $265 USD. The hotel charged me $345. The property said they sold snowmobile trail passes. They do not. The food selection was not that good. The building is fantastic, the view outstanding the facilities are outstanding. The casino was fun. The greeters as we parked were outstanding and helpful.

The hotel was nice and as enjoyable as I remembered. The food options are limited and the prices for the items are over inflated. The choice to just get a nice steak or chicken dish are not on the menu. They have a few main dishes that are meant to be impressive. They are not appealing. Then at the casino the StHubert is avg. So the facility is very nice. The food options are acceptable but not up to par. We did explore the town and had a great meal with more options for a better price. The outdoor pool and spa are just awesome. A very unique stay and fun place overall.
