I will say that both the evening receptionist and morning receptionist were both very nice. Other than that i dont have anything else nice to say about thia hotel.
During my stay i stayed in room 100 and to say that it is dated would be an understatement. The couch was out of the 1970s. The carpet at the kitchen area was all falling apart. The tube was stained. Drywall was messed up in the closet area.
I have travel and sure i have unfortunately stayed in worse hotels buf they knew that they werent anything special. This place has the delusion that it is way better than it is by the over pricing. It is not a $170 night hotel. I'd say between $65-85 tops.
Oh and they charge you $10 a night to park your car. I have stayed in many hotels over the years all over the US and not once have i ever paid the hotel extra to park my car. And i have stayed in cities and unless it was vallet i never paid extra for parking. And this hotel is not in the cities. I think its just a way for there management to take advantage of their customers.
I have business in the area and i wont stay again.

Pros: Safe location, ample parking, easy access
Cons: extremely worn, missing basic items like coffee pot, phone, functioning hair dryer, working thermostat

We really liked being within walking distance of our convention, and Staybridge suites provided a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. Great choice. We liked having a fridge, microwave, basic dishes, and a couch in our room. The bed was super comfortable and everything was very clean.
We had expected “light touch” housekeeping during our four night stay, but that did not happen. Perhaps we needed to request that at the desk.
We reported a slow draining sink due to an inoperative garbage disposal, and I am sure the property manager will get that fixed for the next occupants. The breakfast is adequate with hot and cold options, and Staybridge suites offered a Monday through Wednesday evening happy hour with light refreshments, which was a nice way to meet up with others attending the convention. We will stay here again!
Be aware that parking is an additional $10 per night.

Hidden fees such as a parking fee in the amount of $10 per day, room outdated and partially clean.

The hotel itself is on the older side. It has been remodeled so the lobby and breakfast area is very nice. Our room was absolutely terrible. The refrigerator was running so loudly! The furnace/air conditioner was in the closet of the bedroom and it was so LOUD that it woke me up every time it turned on. I cannot emphasize how loud the furnace was. For that reason alone I would not rent from this hotel again.

Place is pretty banged up and room not well stocked with basics like tissues and such. Smallest queens i’ve ever slept in. It worked but not great for families. Smoke got into one bathroom and had to close up so kids were not exposed. Windows are paper thin, so after trying to keep our kids well behaved all day, at night adults had loud boisterous convos in courtyard til early hours. Terrible convos and curses galor. The place worked but did not enhance the trip or help family sleep at night.

Hotel was in a location and had big enough parking lot that they shouldnt have to charge for parking.

The hotel itself seemed pretty nice, and I will say they do have great breakfast options. However, our room… Yikes!
As soon as we walked in we were hit with a wall of dampness/moisture in the air. It also had a stale cigarette smoke smell, even though it is supposed to be a non smoking room.
When we asked the front desk about this she said they just steam cleaned the floors. The hotel was completely full, and we could’ve changed rooms, but not until the next day around 10 or 11… the problem was we were already at our event for the day by then.
When we arrived back in the room after our event the room again felt so damp, even to the point that the bedding and our clothing in our suitcase felt damp.
Needless to say they need to invest in a dehumidifier!!
(We had to grab our blanket and sheets from our car, that we just so happened to have from the earlier part of our trip!)

Other than the barking dog, it was a great stay. Clean. Quiet area. Room was clean. Breakfast was okay. I’d stay again.

The place is super nice!
The breakfast was very good- eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, fruit, and so much more to choose from. Clean place…Cabin feel for the architecture and lobby- rooms were very nice. I stayed in the suite. It had a kitchen with everything you need.
The three star on condition was only due to the bathtub and it appeared to have some rust on the metal drain and some staining at the bottom.I would not have taken a bath. But other than this, everything else was top notch.

The hotel could have been a very nice property. The breakfast was great but thats about where it stops. The room smelled and the carpet had damp spots. The bath tube was not clean. And the main issue was that they charged $10 a day for parking, I have never stayed at a rual property that has a regular parking lot charged for parking. I am in the area often and i will think twice before staying at this hotel.

When you go they do not tell you that you have to pay $10 a day to park in the hotel lot or they will tow you. It's not offsite parking. Pool was cold, free breakfast was not good at all. Missing knob on desk. Paint sagging in bathroom. Coffee pot lid was broke. Almost no chairs at pool. No towels at pool. Latch at pool was door was broken. Only no smoking within 500 ft of hotel or we will fine you $150 and has smoking area that is 25 ft away

Did not like the fact that they charged $10 per day parking fee. If it was downtown Louisville it would be more understandable due to downtown parking situations. But this rather suburban hotel had ample lot parking(no garage). Very obvious this was a way to get more money out of their customers.. While I liked the hotel and location, I will not stay there again due to this obviously blatant money grab!

The room was gross. Stained bed base, dirty carpet, dirty tub, and doors that stick. I definitely wouldn’t stay here again.

“Bait-and-surcharge” involves marketing an attractive price to gain consumer interest. However, when it comes time to purchase, mandatory surcharges are tacked on. Through this sleight-of-hand, the advertised price is never the final price. This is an unethical business practice.
Less than pleased with this hotel because they engage in bait and surcharge as described in the above statement.
On their incidentals form they have a $10 parking fee. This is not called out in larger or bolder font on the form (unlike the $100 authorization for other incidentals) so it is easily missed. Nor did the clerk on duty point it out when we checked in. By the time someone arrives at the hotel, having already paid, they are committed to staying or lose even more $$. In this day and age parking a car at a hotel you are registered at should ALWAYS be included.

I liked the bedroom being separate from sitting area...breakfast...parking

The King bed was very high and hard to get out of. There
were dogs on our floor and they kept us awake. The breakfast was a disaster.
2.5 / 5.0
It was a home away from home. My only gripe is paying for parking.

Unfortunately I didn’t have the most pleasant stay here. The room I was given was extremely outdated and had an odd smell. The tub was cracking and chipping. There were also ants in my room. I informed the front desk and maintenance never came to rectify. I wouldn’t stay here again in all honesty.

Front Staff was not very friendly. Checkin he acted like we were inconveniencing him. Asked for extra towels and the guys was snobby and crabby about it saying people were "entitled" Just overall staff was not very nice or helpful

This place is great stay here for sure

This place is pet friendly and the rooms show it. The carpet had tears from where an animal had chewed on it. The couch had stains. Nothing had been dusted. There was cobwebs around the ceiling. There was juice or something on the TV screen. Listening to the dogs bark randomly throughout the night was definitely what I was looking forward to on my work trip. The bathroom door lock halfway works in the bathroom itself. Needed a serious makeover.
On to the outside, the pictures of this seating area around the fire pit on your website look amazing. Upon getting there, the chairs are all busted. The cushions are missing and there's holes from cigarette Burns on what cushions are left.
Overall, I will not stay here again, nor would I recommend anybody staying here until this place undergoes a makeover. The pictures showing on the advertisement are so nice. I feel like I got catfished.
