Fantastic hotel, highly recommended and a great location to everything you want to see in Hamburg. Room was clean and well presented. Staff were very friendly and accommodating the moment we walked through the doors. Lovely pool and gym amenities. If you have a late flight they will let you stay an hour 3-6 hours for a fee but it's worth it if you don't want to carry your bags everywhere. Thanks for a great stay!

The interior is simply outdated, it is not a pretty hotel at all. The price level at the hotel is way too high in comparison to other hotels they want to compare themselves to. The spa area is the most outdated part. Do not pick this hotel because of the spa.

The hotel is great, service is terrible. We travelled with two friends - stayed Friday-Sunday. Saturday morning, we could not get a breakfast table for 4 persons, 2 tables were "free" but reserved, we were told quite harsh. Saturday evening, we booked a table for 4 persons in the reception - for Sunday morning no problem. Then Sunday morning, the same waiter (Yara), told us is was not possible to reserve tables for breakfast, so she refused to seat us at a 4 person table. We really felt not-welcome - it was unpleasant. I reccomend the hotel, but find your breakfast somewhere else.

Very nice hotel with nice staff! Breakfast was great and the restaurant is out of this world (specially the fille steak). Had some technical problems with the room door, but apart from that, it is a hotel I'd recommend!

My friend and I stayed 2 nights here this month. The location was great, walking distance to the attractions we wanted to see in the city and easy to access by public transport from the airport. We used the pool and spa facilities twice during our stay and they were great. Our room was spacious and comfortable. During our stay I suffered a medical emergency due to a pre-existing condition and as a result had to go to hospital. Throughout this emergency the staff were amazing. They looked after me and my friend and were so accommodating after our stay. I am very grateful to them, in particular David.

Very comfortable room, everything feels high quality, from the door handle to the dresser. We loved our breakfast and enjoyed the pool. Everyone in the staff we interacted with was helpful, friendly and professional. The location close to the Alster lake and the opera is hard to beat.

A very nice modern hotel in an excellent location. Your is walking distance from pretty much everything in central Hamburg. I have to complement the front desk staff on their friendliness and professionalism. They were truly superb. My room was not ready for check-in yet because I arrived early, yet they were completely accommodating in providing access to their facilities and could not have been more friendly. Really nice, professionally-run hotel.

Great hotel with very good location. Very nice rooms and the in-house meat restaurant can really be recommended. The only negative side is the extreme pricing of the breakfast. Choose any of the alternatives in the area. You will save a lot of money and still get a good breakfast.

Gave Side our 3rd chance as previous times had rooms which placed next to the elevator. Even after telling the staff was told that could not be the case. Breakfest is overpriced compared to selection and quality seen on similar hotels in this class. This a side did we have nice stay with very friendly staff.

Cool sleek and modern design right near center of town. Large rooms and beds, great picture windows with options to open for fresh air. Very quite and private. Note, the cooling system is not Air Conditioning and unable to create a comfortable temp on a warm day. The room requires a key card to be in the slot for lights and cooling to run which makes the issue worse when being out all day. Also the tall tub combo is a bit of a challenge to get in and out. All the smooth glass and tile with a slippery tub makes it a bit hazzardous. I recommend stepping in before turning on the water just to be safe. The shower enclosure is entirely glass, there is a sheer curtain for semi privacy but not much.

Beautiful hotel, but two things was major drawbacks for us:- Superior room is supposed to be a Queen bed but its actually just two singles pushed together without a top mattress, so when visiting as a couple you easily fall into the crack. Beddings are also singles which is annoying when you would like to share- Power for charging only on one side of bed...- Jacuzzi in basement was not heated- It doesnt show on the pictures, but this is a step in bathtub where you take your shower, big surprise for us in a *5 new hotel.On a positive note, the food in the restaurant is fantastic, and housekeeping was very nice at bringing us an HDMI cable to connect our laptop to the huge TV.
