The hotel is difficult to get into. The front desk was closed when we arrived at 9 PM. It is under heavy renovation. The room was very dirty. After trying to clean the floor there were evidence of feces on the bathroom floor (in front of the mirror). Also we saw cockroaches that ran to the kitchen faucet. We had already paid for the room and were very tired so we slept dressed over the bed sheets. It was a very long night as we were expecting something else to happen. Last but not least, when I went to check out there was other guest who had a couple of dogs walking from hus room to the foyer. How clean can the carpet be?

ROACHES.. everywhere. Woke up to them crawling on my baby. IMMEDIATELY LEFT. Please do not book this place.. there are better options. I am not one to leave reviews ( especially bad ) but the room did NOT look like the pictures. The cabinets were broken, and filled with roach eggs/wings/antennas. Smelt like mildew. Construction going on in front.
The only good thing I have to say was the lady checking us in was nice and quick! She was great.

Rough property. When I woke up, for a split second I thought I was in Chicago. No shampoo.
At least the sheets were clean.

One terrible experience.
Let's go through it:
1) 27 minute wait upon our check in time for night shift to unlock door to get in check in
2) at check in, informed about false advertisement and that from Hotels.com that room has breakfast included. There is no breakfast anymore
3) none of the doors worked with room key when I went to get bags. Was locked out another 19 minutes. Now it is already 1 am
4) room had no coffee maker
5) woke up for business meetings by 6.15.... roaches in bathtub (YUCK)
6) showered - had someones hair in the towel that went over my body ... Argh stay composed
Checked out by 7.15 am
7 1/2 hours of hell of an experience with very dirty, poorly operated, and unhygienic hotel
Please stay away

Front desk man was amazing, kind and supportive but the room was just not it. Some weird mold like black spots on the ceiling of the bathroom, no metal on stove tops so you can’t heat anything up, fridge was all dented and hints of orange like no one cleaned it, drawers in the kitchen didn’t even have a border so you could see into every drawer without opening it.

Booked for 3 nights, hotel is extremely dirty. Elevator is not working. booking said free breakfast, there was no breakfast, no coffee maker at property, staff was lazy and non-cooperative. Bathrooms were in terrible condition. room was not cleaned. room key did not work many times, have to go to front desk to get it re-activated. Will never recommend this hotel. Cheap hotel, but not worth it.

First off I booked the room because my home was getting work done and we had to be away from it for some days. I book the room close by my house and also because it had a pool and also because they also had a kitchen and houston weather was at 100 plus degrees here. The guy who checked me in was very kind and friendly. When we finally got into the room upon getting our belongings put away, we noticed a roach on the refrigarator and then opened it and it was 2 or 3 more. We killed them and before we unpacked anything I called the front desk to see if we could be moved. There was no other room because they where completely booked. So I asked if the manager was available to see what he or she could do. She (frances) wasn't going to be in until the next morning and that I can talk to her about the room. We cleaned out the fridge and put our items in it and noticed more roaches throughout the room. Killed those and didn't put our things on the floor or any where but the table or couch or the bed. The following morning the manager sent maintanace man to spray. That didnt work it seemed like it was food for the roaches and that made more. We couldn't check out because we couldn't go home and also rooms that where around us where fully booked because of the previous storms here because we where without power and etc. When we checked out I adviced the manager (Frances) that the room was infested with roaches and that before they booked it they needed to bomb.Safe place was the bed!!

I asked for a room changed due to stove top not working and toilet seat needed changing..The second room was very nice all wooded floor but did not provide a couch in that room only a recliner..I was okay with that till seen few roaches while watching TV..I spray with lysol prior to me bringing my belongings..The whole place always has a pungent spent but that building is full with families...I reserved for 3 days until I seen the shower head moldy and did not shower for that one day canceled and rebooked..The only thing I liked was it was quiet n safe..I was on the 1st floor and my advice is to do your own cleaning and bring your own sheets for the bed..The owners need to do a walk thru carpet need to be pulled up very dirty..Also, minor sm things based on what I seen from both room..I stayed in the studio flooring was great. The customer service was great Spanish folkes not smiling.
Housekeeping need improvement look like shortages am sure dont pulled them sheets off again bring your own sheets 4 day stay...

First, something was wrong with the door key, had to go from the 3rd floor to the lobby several times because they keys didn’t work. The 3rd time the clerk should have assisted me himself trying the keys to see what was wrong, however the 5th time I insisted he go to my room to try the key, it work for him. I tried again afterwards it didn’t work for me. I have stayed in many hotels and I know how to use the keys to the doors, but this is not the worst thing about this room. I noticed it was a little dirty on the floor some leftover trash however I turned on the lights about 10:30 at night cockroaches everywhere, that’s when I decided to pack up everything and leave

The staff was helpful but the place needed some help. When we first entered our room there was a bad odor so we had to crack the window, we also saw cockroaches. Breakfast consisted of muffins and coffee and there were no kitchen items available like promised. Next time I will pay a little more and stay elsewhere.

This hotel is barely functioning. Stairs and the halls are smelly. Confirmed reservations can be denied at checking in with no room available. It happened to is twice. We booked this hotel due to the weather issue and our area and no power at home.

The service was good, the room was clean. The furniture needs some updating, especially our couch, but the bed was comfortable. My main issue is that we came there to stay with my young daughter, but the hotel smelled like marijuana smoke even when we were approaching the front driveway. The entire lobby also smelled of marijuana. The entire first floor, the entire second floor hallway day in and day out, and it’s supposedly a non-smoking hotel, at least on the 2nd floor where we stayed. This was concerning because while marijuana smoke may or may not have benefits for adults, it is definitely a neurotoxin to children and young teens with long term consequences on cognitive development and mental health (depressive disorders) because children’s brains are still developing. So if they plan on having families reserve rooms, they need to enforce the no smoking policy. Or do not stay here or ask for a reimbursement, or just call the police if your children are being forced to inhale that much marijuana smoke and you have no other options.

Carpet in hallway is filthy. Trash is sitting in the hallway from guests . The room smelled so bad and I had to switch rooms because it was a ton of flys in the first room I checked in . I left after 1 hour . Too filthy to stay any longer

I was excited about this hotel. I came out of town for a wedding. I was going to be in town for a few days. So, i was excited about having a suite with a kitchenette. I bought stuff to make breakfast and fruits, juice etc. When i arrived at the hotel and opened the cupboards, there was NOTHING. Not a fork, cup, pan... nothing. If you wanted these "extra amenities", you had to go to front desk and requested what you want, and they will see if it's available ( more times it's not). You ever had to peel and cut a watermelon with a steak knife? And when i finally got a pan to fry a couple eggs, there was nothing to do dishes with. I had to go to the dollar store and buy a sponge and a small bottle of dish soap, salt and pepper and paper towel. What's the point of advertising a kitchen if there was nothing there to use or cook with or eat out of. "Why did i buy stuff for breakfast if they already have free breakfast", you ask? Mini muffins. Nutrigrain bars and coffee. THAT'S IT! No juice, no fruit, no milk, not even cereal. Not a pleasant experience. And to top it off.... drum roll...i found and killed two roaches in the room.
