Mini bar only with soft drinks, pool only open from 12 noon, cafeteria closed when we arrived a Saturday night at 11 pm on a Saturday. We wanted to have 1 beer before bed time but impossible.

Large, well proportioned bedroom with large ensuite additionally..Hot water was instantly available with a good shower. Colourful decoration. No balcony but window opened out on to the car park. Large carpark front and rear ( free ). Has 3-4 lifts for guests from the lobby. Staff were generally friendly and helpful. Very clean room. Over the weekend , the breakfast was really good ( Hot- Bacon, eggs sausages etc and cold Continental (hams, cheeses) with lots of fruit and pastries. On the monday morning, there were far fewer items on display as the number of guests had dwindled considerably eg No fresh fruit; only canned;. 6 rashers of bacon and 3-4 eggs in total; certain pastries missing and so on. There are 3 large supermarkets only 2-3 minutes away ( Lidl, Aldi, Mercadona) monday-saturday only. The number 4 bus about every 20 minutes takes you to the Aqueduct for 1Euro pp each way. Stop and terminus for the return journey outside Lidl just down the road. Every half hour on sundays. Or you can walk to the Aqueduct in 30 minutes. 2-3 bars serving tapas and raciones close by and the restaurant opens at 8.30pm for dinner.A free in room safe is offered but a 30 euro deposit is required ( refundable). The inroom wifi was poor with great variation in signal strength. The lobby was a little better but still below standard.

Hotel Puerta de Segovia is an older, though not charming hotel that is able to host larger meetings and events. Located on the outskirts of Segovia, it is a long walk into the city center. There is plenty of on-site parking. There are plenty of supermarkets, convenience stores and the like nearby. Reception desk personnel were friendly and competent. My room was comfortable and adequately cleaned each day and breakfast was acceptable.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this lovely hotel. The staff was exceptional very helpful and a full buffet breakfast period I highly recommend it even though it's off the main hotel path.

Basic large business oriented hotel in a non descript area, fairly far from the Segovia sights. About a 30 minute energetic but boring walk to the aqueduct, although you could drive down and park there (expensive). Another 15 minutes or so from there to the other Segovia sights. Put your walking shoes on.
Very good breakfast and free hotel parking were the best parts, otherwise not a particularly memorable hotel for tourists, but the old town Segovia was certainly worth a visit.

Whilst driving around Spain over a 2 week period, my elderly mother and I stayed at Hotel Puerta de Segovia for one night. Although there was some confusion upon arrival due to my change in arrival date (done via the Hotels.com website) not being passed on to the hotel, the (one and only - I think) English speaking Reception staff member was very obliging and provided a room regardless. The room was delightful, views over the distant snow capped hills fabulous and nearby supermarkets very useful for our road-trip supplies.Being quite active, I walked into town to see the aquaduct and historic town of Segovia (which probably took around 20 minutes), however I believe the number 4 bus goes quite regularly, or of course parking (meter) is available outside the town.

The hotel was 2km outside Segovia, easy to find and a short trip into town where parking was easy and took less than 5 mins to drive to.. Segovia itself is a beautiful town with lots to see and well worth a visit.
The reception was very nice looking and our room was very clean, comfortable and excellent value. Complementary toiletries and sweets added a personal touch.
The breakfast was exceptional, a huge range of food to suit all tastes.
We would definately recommend this hotel.

This hotel is not located in Segovia, but about 2 km from the city center. There are several restaurants within walking distance and supermarkets across the street.
On week-ends you can see the Roman aqueduct lit up at night from rooms facing Segovia.
The hotel is nondescript, but the rooms are large and the beds are as well. The WiFi works fairly well. There was some hair left in the bathroom, but the rest of the room was very clean.

THE HOTEL IS OK, BUT A LITTLE FAR FROM THE MAIN ATRACTIONS IN SEGOVIA,
IT'S SURROUNDED BY SEVERAL SUPERMARKETS
