A man was in our room when we checked in said he was checking to make sure our room was clean??? At 5PM??? That is a little odd???
No regular bartender.
Out of coffee in the AM. Only decaf.
People were courteous and good just seemed like it was an off week.

Everyone was very friendly, and the accommodations were very clean.

Paid for upgraded “signature” room but staff put us in the smaller room

No security at this downtown hotel! As a woman travelling alone on business I was shocked to find the lobby unmanned with elevators and floors anyone could access. Staff was nice but disorganised. Car parking was overpriced and inconvenient. Room was dark and old and smelled musty. Sheets did not smell fresh. Dirty windows. Breakfast was just yogurt and muffins and the bar/ restaurant was closed. A homeless person came in while I was waiting to check out, plugged in a cell phone then left. Clearly this hotel is not aware of the need for guest safety because I felt that anyone could have come in and roamed around.

Nice, large rooms and comfortable space. However, I noticed stains on the bedsheet, a dirty towel was left in the bathroom and the coffee station had not been refreshed. Rather disappointing for the price paid.

Great hotel, every one was super friendly and helpful!

Great hotel in perfect downtown location within walking distance of multiple sites. Easy access to DFW & the Cultural District via mass transit. Check in / front desk staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Although an older, historic property it is well maintained and my room was spacious, comfortable and had plentiful amenities (coffee/tea machine, towels, power & usb outlets, etc.). Would definitely stay here again.

The Aston is a quiet hotter. Not a ton of on-site amenities but the rooms a vintage and so comfortable. Chek in took like 1 minute. The walk score is 11 out of 10. Just a no hassle nice hotel. Park in the 777 parking garage accross the street. Cheers

It was very quiet.

We were disappointed there was no bar or restaurant but the pics made it look like there was. And the shower leaked a lot onto our rug.

Nice, quiet hotel. Our room was a suite. The room had been updated. It was clean and comfortable. Spacious bathroom. Housekeeping was excellent. Came every day to empty trash, give clean towels and make bed. Close to convention center and restaurants. I would stay here again.

I had a great stay at the Ashton. The young woman at reception was kind and helped me get into my room at a good time. The room itself was clean and well appointed. Location could not have been better.

This was an amazing hotel. The jetted tub was exactly what I needed!

The bathroom floor in room 202 was incredibly sticky. Not sure if it’s the cleaning products or something was spilled but it felt disgusting.
I’m mainly leaving this review because I’m upset about my car which has nothing to do with the Ashton since I’m sure they just have a contract with them. I have an app on my phone that lets me know the location and everything about my car etc.
I’m upset because Valet left my car UNLOCKED, someone rolled one WINDOW DOWN and the IGNITION was running for 2.5 hours before I bothered to take a look at the text notification I received from Mercedes.
I’m really upset about that! I went downstairs and spoke with a man named Charolette (who probably needs another individual working the front desk with him) who contacted the Hilton for me to have car situation addressed. This was my first and will be my last time staying here.

Far to pricey for the lack of amenities, rooms are very small, has a restaurant maybe but it is not advertised. Daytime staff not very friendly or welcoming.
On a plus side it’s a great location.

Nice large rooms. Unique decor/ambiance. No dining options, not even coffee available in the morning.

5 stars. Everything you’d want from a hotel other than parking for a lifted vehicle, but you can expensively park overnight within walking distance.

Cute old style hotel with charm

The valet people who the ashton contracts misplaced our keys and we almost missed our flight. The ashton did comp us for a couple of days, but it was very stressful to go through. While we waited for our car in the lobby, we noticed a huge mouse climbing over some equipment. Another negative is that the lobby did not offer coffee.

Great staff and very clean!

The Aston is a 39 room boutique hotel with large, well furnished rooms and nice bathrooms. Bed was excellent and staff was friendly and accommodating. Plenty of dining around the block. Valet parking recommended.
