Susan was amazing at the front desk BUT she def needed help - Friday night, day after thxgiving, snow. We were third in line to check in but took 25 min in the chilly lobby (by the main door). Breakfast was really not okay this time - hot food was not hot; microwave worked only 1 second at a time no matter what setting; styrofoam plates; flimsy plastic ware that broke when trying to get it out of the individual packaging.

Roaches!!! Getting ready for bed.....look up and roaches came out of the headboard! We immediately packed our bags and left. The entire place is dirty and in disrepair. Cracked walls, dirty torn drapes, even the lamp finish was worn off from people turning it on. I have pictures of the roaches and curtains, lamp, and roaches, but the app wont let.me upload.

Susan offered a lovely welcome at check in. She made our process smooth, efficient, & pleasant. Overall good repair & well maintained. Good gravy at breakfast. Loud location - highway, trucks, people, Beds were unfriendly to aging backs. Bathroom cleanliness could’ve used more care.

We have stayed here a little over 2 years ago and everything then was wonderful. This time horrible. Hot tub is no longer available even though it states it is available. Permanently closed. Pool is suppose to be heated not the case. It was so cold grandkids would not get in. Sink and tub wouldn't drain. No shampoo or anything in the shower but containers there. Ironing board broken, iron leaked water. Mind you these are clothing for wedding. Breakfast so cold you had to microwave it. Nothing in the cooler like yogurt fruit very disappointing. We stayed 2 nights. We were told after talking to front desk the first night maintenence would come fix the non draining sink and tub.Nobody came. I could say more.

The staff were good. The place clean and tidy. But our room faced the freeway and although is was pretty quiet we had freeway lights shine in our room all night. No black out blinds. Why do they made decorative valences with sheers over the wondow and no way to make the room datk

Despite only arriving at 6-7pm and a long-standing non-refundable booking for a suite, they had no rooms available. The manager told us it was our own fault for not booking directly, and there was nothing they could do about it. They had the booking on file but did not contact us in advance or cancel the booking, but took the money. There were other people in the same situation and when I went online to find other hotels in the area the hotel was still selling non-existent rooms. Be careful!

I was in town for my granddaughter’s birthday. I always book a hotel with a pool so the kids have something to do. The front desk clerk, Robin, was phenomenal, the pool & breakfast fantastic! However, our bathroom floor, sink & tub had hair in it upon arrival, that is unacceptable. The ice busker had 6 moths worth of dust on it too! Housekeeping slacked in our room.

Most hotel options in Charleston are along a busy freeway, so this is no exception. Be prepared for traffic sounds, trains and noise from other rooms. The property lacked lighting at the porte-cochere at night but was on during the day. Happy for the pet option.

We enjoyed our stay at Country Inn and Suites. The breakfast was awesome with many selections. They also offer little extras such as fruit, homemade cookies, and coffee or tea in the lobby! The desk staff was very helpful when we asked for a tv guide. One thing to mention…the online ad for this hotel says there is a hot tub but it has been closed down. That would’ve been nice to know as I was looking forward to it. However, we would stay here again as we were very comfortable, it was quiet and as I mentioned, we loved the breakfast!

We were first checked into a room already occupied. Then late that night someone else was checked into our room and we were startled awake when they tried to enter. The next morning we had to make multipe trips up/down to the desk get our key to work again. The elevator was broken and the stairwell was soaking wet and slippery from a broken AC unit. Overall, not a good experience.

This hotel has 0 maintenance. It has got everything possible thing wrong that you can imagine. We were given rooms that were not ready. The housekeeper tried to put on dirty linen. Bathroom sink was dirty. The gym was in bad shape. Every corner of the facility severely lacks maintenance and up keep. Stay here only if you have no other choice.

I paid For two queen rooms and on the same floor or next to each other because I was traveling with family with kids. I arrived at the hotel after nine. The man behind the counter he couldn’t tell he worked there because he was just in a concert T-shirt. He gave me the keys to the room. One was on the second floor and one was on the third floor. I told him I wanted them next to each other or on the same floor, do nothing about it because they were packed. He told me it was a queen room and the other one was a king room. There is nothing they could do because all the rooms are already filled. My grandchildren were happy to see the pool was open till midnight . But we went down to the pool. There were adults in there. They were acting like fools throwing balls. So we walked out. I will never return to this facility again.

The property was adequate for a brief stay. The bed was comfortable. The fitness center equipment was limited/media was not functional. It was very pet friendly which was so nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful!

Although appearing in a rundown area right outside of the city, this hotel was wonderful for our family of four. We always felt safe and very quiet both inside and outside. The staff was one of the nicest - from the front desk to those changing trash bins. Lobby coffee was freshened with a smile at ten at night when asked! Breakfast area was large, clean, and stocked. Subway, fast food, dollar store, Gabe’s, and Kroger if needed. Charleston easy ten minute drive. We would stay again for sure!!

I’m not one that writes reviews BUT in this case I’m going to. The staff was very friendly that is about the only positive. Our room smelled, we had no toilet paper, the air conditioner did not work well, toilet wouldn’t flush, my husband had to fix the chain in the toilet and it was rigged with parts that were not even that model. There a motel next door that had some questionable people staying there. There were people out on the street that looked to be on drugs. I did NOT feel safe staying here. We payed 160.00 for the night this is by far a place that should not be more than $50 a night. Do not let the pictures fool you online or the reviews.

Hotel was average at best. Front desk personnel at check in were really frazzled because computer systems were down and they weren’t sure how to check guests in. Room was average and the beds were quite uncomfortable. Overall, this was not the stay we were expecting.
