Lighting is like a hospital in the room, not cozy. Took forever to get mildly warm water for morning shower. Breakfast was ok. Housekeeping was loud in the morning outside the room in the hallway.

I always stay at this hotel when I have to stay in the area for work. It is clean and comfortable. They have recently replaced carpet with hard floors, which in my opinion, is much more sanitary. The staff is amazing and super helpful. The restaurant is very good, a little spendy, but very good. Definitely better than the chain hotels in the area. There are also some unique rooms, which is a fun feature.

We did a couples get away and the hotel was perfect. The staff at the front desk were so kind and friendly. The attached restaurant was fantastic with a great singer. Just a lovely romantic stay.

Arrived late but was warmly welcomed by desk staff. Needed phone charger and desk staff helped me with accessory. Needed warm tea and desk staff helped me. All my needs were well taken care of and more! Couldn’t ask for more!

Three day birthday stay with my sister. Highlights: reiki session at spa; complimentary dinner boxes and wine for two after scheduled 4-hour power outage ( they are doing a lot of upgrades to the property); last night turf and surf dinner at adjacent original namesake restaurant;great morning breakfast buffet included in room rate; huge and dpaceious rooms and suites. Slight downside; bathroom sink and toilet in my room would benefit from plumbing upgrade - my sister’s room was A-OK.

Very nice hotel away from the hustle and bustle

The hotel was fairly nice. The spout for the bath/shower was loose. The hairdryer was terrible for long hair. The room was very comfortable though and there was adequate parking.

We stayed here for two nights to attend a family wedding nearby. It was fairly pricy but was close to the venue. Upon entering the hotel, we were greeted VERY warmly by a lovely gentleman. The first impression of the decor was the carpet going up the steps was raveled and needed replaced badly. Also in our room, the carpet opening the door from the bedroom to the front room had been damaged which was very noticeable. During our two day stay, we never received wash clothes! I calling the first day and they were delivered, but day two we did not receive them again! I expected a much better breakfast too. The quiche was NOT made of eggs. For a “classy” place, the breakfast was lacking. I’m a seasoned traveler and honestly, for the price, I would not recommend this hotel.

Friendly Service staff. Hotel room was very clean as was the rest of the hotel. Complimentary breakfast is a bonus all in all a very nice hotel

The hotel is a nice hotel; however our room #514 accommodations were poor due to having a terrible mattress that had been worn down with a severe dip in the middle as if it was "my grandma's bed." We got no sleep. It was a one night stay but I will probably not revisit this hotel.

I love staying at D. Hotel Suites and try to book it anytime I need to be in the Northampton area. The location is just gorgeous, nestled between the hill and opposite the river. The main building itself has so much character, with rooms that are clean and nicely set up (they just need a few more outlets...). The indoor pool and hot tub are worth packing a suit for - a perfect way to relax at the end of the day. The staff here is always friendly, helpful, and they go above and beyond to make sure you feel welcome and valued. Highly recommend!

I was surprised you chose laminate flooring. Yes durable and easy to clean, but unfriendly on bare feet.

My wife , daughter and I had dinner at the Delaney House restaurant which was excellent. The only drawbacks to the D. Hotel were that at the morning breakfast, the single coffee machine available in the hotel breakfast area was not functioning and no other coffee was provided in the breakfast area. Also, the carpet in the lobby and stairways were noted to be worn and frayed. Recommend upgrade to both Coffee Breakfast area availability and carpeting.

Though the property is a little outdated and the elevator very slow, the room was very comfortable and we loved the water pressure of the shower. The kids enjoyed the pool and the buffet breakfast as well.
