Hotel lovely but restaurant over rated. First nights meal was served cold, brought to the staffs attention but not even an apology, second night better but menu selection very sparse. Not sure how it managed a gourmet accolade

Although the hotel appeared nice it wasn't up to a 4 star standard of my expectations. Very little English was spoken & the reception even found it difficult to organise a taxi into town so had to walk about 45 minutes on a very warm day.

My wife and I only stayed in this hotel because our rail journey onwards to Barcelona had been delayed and our train terminated at Perpignan at 11pm! We chose this hotel in a panic - after researching any hotel that was open after 11pm with nightstaff. Our taxi arrived in the dark and the incredibly helpful reception staff showed two tired travellers to our room. The next morning we woke to find ourselves in a glorious hotel - a lovely room, gorgeous grounds and an incredible breakfast by the pool. The staff were superb and we realised that we had discovered a gem purely by chance. We had to leave that morning to catch our train and left with some regret. If or when we visit Perpignan again, we will definitely stay at this hotel - it was superb.

Beautiful property with gardens & pool. Nice restaurant but pricey. Breakfast could be expanded to include more options. Comfortable room. Free self-parking. No elevator. You need to reserve to use spa facilities & pay $15. There is nothing to do around the hotel. You'll need a car. Visit the Vermillion coast nearby. It is stunning. We enjoyed our stay. The property is very pretty & probably the best there is in the area.

Beautiful tiny hotel and staff fabulous. Dinner very poor and only dined the first night . Also you are very limited when you can go in the pool which is not made clear when booking . We wouldn’t have booked this knowing that . Great relaxing stay though otherwise . Room lovely . I could t use the spa on the day I wanted to unfortunately as full as didn’t pre book so def advise you to do that if you want to use it ,don’t wait till you get there .

This property was very nice. The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was kind at check-in, but the serving staff during dinner was extremely slow, to the point of being inconvenient and unpleasant. Moreover, the waiter was rude and completely indifferent to our concerns.

This place is a wonderful oasis in the south of France. We visited several cities and several hotel chains but this one was so good I extended to an extra night. The spa is great and the restaurant at the hotel had the best food we ate in France. Highly recommended!!!

Perfect retreat for those wanting to stay near to Perpignan. Hotel comfort excellent, as were staff. Our only complaint was an over zealous housekeeper who disposed of UK teabags in a polythene bag - I dislike French tea. Other than that, a lovely hotel.

Rien à redire, nous avons passé un excellent séjour à la Villa Duflot. La chambre Deluxe est top, grande, lumineuse avec terrasse vue sur jardin (avec une petite fontaine au centre de celui-ci), très beau cadre. L’hôtel est très beau, avec piscine top, propose des activités (ping-pong, pétanque etc). Service au top, tout le personnel a été adorable et efficace. Nous reviendrons !

The place is not bad, but plenty little things are annoying : the swimming pool is surrounded by restaurant tables, making you feel observed when you swim; there is no housekeeping, unless you ask; breakfast was really ordinary (might have been limited by covid restrictions though); wifi has 20th century bandwidth; check-in at 4:00pm, check-out at 11am. More critical: the food is extremely pricey for what it is; 49€ for a pretty ordinary diner menu with appetizer, main dish and desert. A special note for the restaurant waiters, very attentive and willing to help. For the price, there must be better options in the vicinity.

This is a really nice hotel on the outskirts of town. The surroundings are ordinary - retail sheds mostly, but the grounds and pool (freezing in May) were neat and tidy. Best to come with a car. The food was first rate - no change in the set menu from night to night but top quality all the same. Breakfast was really good.

La Villa Duflot is a very pleasant hotel with comfortable rooms and patios. Until check out, our only issue with them was that they were difficult to find, however, with a GPS it was possible. They are not close to any of the beaches or things to do in Perpignan but it was still a quiet comfortable hotel. The real hitch came at check out time. Even though I had prepaid a deposit equivalent to the cost of our hotel stay at the time we booked through Expedia and received a receipt that said we would only be charged for any overage, La Villa Duflot insisted that we needed to pay them the full amount for the hotel room (which I had already paid) because the paperwork Expedia provided said that the hotel was to collect at the time of the stay. I contacted Expedia about it and the operator said that her paperwork said the same thing as the hotel's but that they would research it while I was waiting on the phone. Unfortunately I was traveling at the time and the call was dropped. Expedia never contacted me back about the matter so I called my credit card company to dispute it through them. Having to do this was not what I expected from either Expedia or La Villa Duflot.

We arrived after 2 weeks traveling. We looked for a cozy place to relax in. Enjoy the room and surrounding and do some little trips to the city. We found La Villa Duflot a great place to do just that. It is a very charming villa at a place little remote from the center. Giving to quiet and comfort we looked for. Short ride (we had a car) to the big shopping center near, and 10-15 min to the city center. We loved the room. It was very (!!!) big and comfortable, and felt like little home for us. If you are an energetic traveler, looking for extensive sightseeing in the city - this place may be a bit too far and laid back for you. If you are like us, coming to relax. Enjoy the place and the comfort it offers - This is most certainly a place we recommend to stay. One tip - breakfast costs more than all other places we stayed in at this vacation, and we think it should costs like other places, not more.
