Excellent location very near main square and three very good eateries in streets adjacent to the square. Staff were pleasant and professional and the room and breakfast were both fine

Fantastic location, very friendly reception staff and we loved the hotel.
There is a lift but we took the stairs and there are quite a few. We would absolutely stay here again and the only negative was for us the Breakfast was very basic.
2.0
We were given a 5th floor room when the lift only goes up to 4 so had to lug our case up steps to a gatret room. The shower stank the room was oppressively dark and the air con virtually non existent. The adjacent roof terrace was invaded by kids till the early hours which kept us awake. The beds were hard and pillows like lead. Breakfast was pedestrian. It’s not often I can’t drink the coffee. We were glad to move on

Reception staff extremely friendly and helpful. Very good central location. I would have liked a full length mirror in my room.

Beautiful property, centrally located. Friendly and helpful staff.

Really a lovely place and very central in the old heart of Perugia. Only we didn't get much sleep as air-conditioning was out of order in one room and apparently turned low or even off during our second night.

Hotel Fortuna offers the opportunity for great value when visiting Perugia. Location could not be better. Hotel facilities are comfortable and provide plenty of charm. The hotel`s personnel is welcoming, efficient, and sincerely pleasing.

I had a lovely time! The location was great, the room was clean and well cared for and a good size and price for a single traveler, the breakfast was filling and the terrace was absolutely lovely. It was easy to get to many cafes, restaurants, and historical sights in the city by foot, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Truly my only complaint was the smell of musty pipes or sewage that I could not determine the origin of from the moment I arrived in my room. At first I thought it was wafting in through the window, but then determined the air would become filled with the smell when the window was not open. I couldn’t identify a single source, which makes me think it is possibly a pipe issue? Not sure, and I know I am sensitive to smells, so perhaps others might not notice.

Property is nice, however parking is a nightmare.

Excellent central location and friendly, helpful staff. A quirky place to stay with a frescoed library/sitting area and highly decorated breakfast room. Our executive room was frankly not of executive standard with tiny bathroom and odd layout. As some compensation for this, the view from the balcony over the rooftops of Perugia to the Umbrian countryside beyond was breathtakingly beautiful.

There was a lot of noise from neighboring rooms at night.

Personnel super helpful responsive and friendly. Great breakfast. Charming public spaces featuring....BOOKS! Room large enough with excellent spacious bathroom and abundant hot water. We’d go back in an instant if lucky enough to revisit wonderful Perugia Can’t recommend the Fortuna highly enough!

Great location, but hotel is dated and mattress is uncomfortable. This is not the place to come if you are traveling by car unless you want to walk 15 minutes to and back from the parking lot which you pay separately. I don’t mind paying butwould have preferred to know what “parking available” meant.

Breakfast is great also.
I will be back...

Can't imagine a better choice for Perugina.
A restored palazzo: pproviding elegant, comfortable modern rooms & bathrooms but maintaining the beauty & charm of a historic building.
1st - the location: PERFECT. Easily reached using the elevator up from the light rail train station or escalators from bus depot.
HEART of the stunning medieval town. A few steps and you are THERE!
Hotel staff was welcoming, the reception area tasteful & decorated nicely for Christmas when we were there mid Dec 2023.
Our 3rd floor room looked out to narorw street that is 95% pedestrian (only city workers & deliveries). Double paned windows? Wonderfully quiet. Room was a good size for Europe & cozily warm.
The bed & bedding: truly excellent. Shower, WC in general very good. As our room was on the 3rd floor, just off the gorgeous sitting room shown in the pictures with a painted ceiling: we felt it was all ours as no one else ever used it! (Perfect for spreading out our map & planning materials, or simply enjoying our bottle of wine! Hotel provided proper glasses.)
Breakfast room is equally beautifully restored with original frescoes - a big bright room tastefully done and with a lovely buffet (various pastries, local cheeses, meats, hard boiled eggs, and the usual baked goods, cereals, yogurt, fresh and stewed fruits, excellent local jams & honey.) There's a hotel coffee maker but if the staff isn't busy, ask & they'll make you one on a real espresso machine! What a treat.
Def a great experience!

Great location, friendly staff and comfortable room. The room is in need of a fresh coat of pain but otherwise I enjoyed my stay and would recommend Hotel Fortuna.

A beautiful little hotel right in the middle of the medieval town of Perugia Italy. Short walk to the Centro. Lots of good restaurants around Centro. Room small but very clean and comfy. One of the top places I have stayed.

Stayed one night. Our room was lovely with a balcony and all the amenities you would need. Terrace isn’t open currently which is a shame. Decor is very beautiful and the breakfast was great. Staff were more than helpful and even gave us a great dinner recommendation.

This is a beautiful hotel that has respected the original architectural details while updating what is necessary to make a hotel stay convenient and modern. The photos on the website are exactly what you will find at this hotel. Our room was not huge, but it was immaculately clean and the bathroom was large. The staff was helpful, polite, and gracious. The breakfast is fantastic, especially the coffee machine, which can make you anything from an espresso to a luongo and everything in between! If you're looking for a European-style stay (U.S. folks: this is NOT a Marriot), you will love this hotel.

A very central hotel in the historical centre just a few steps away from all major attractions, and good restaurants. Good continental breakfast. Reception staff are english speaking, friendly and extremely helpful

Location is excellent! A 12 dollar taxi ride from the train station to the doorstep of this enchanting hotel right in the heart of historic city. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and cozy. I enjoyed my 3 night stay and would recommend this hotel to others.

Hotel Fortuna's building itself is from the 14th Century but converted into a charming, warm and friendly hotel! The staff are wonderfully helpful. The breakfast room, historic and lovely, is really a treat. The girl that sets up the breakfast display does so with such careful attention, everything is laid out with such precision and care, arranged so beautifully that it is itself a work of art. My favorite part is that they offer local bread and local olive oil to make your own bruschetta, also they feature a local sheeps milk cheese. On top of that they have a full array of everything you could possibly want to start your day, a nice selection of fruit, breakfast pastries and cakes and Linzer torte, very thinly sliced ham, cheese and salami, yogurts, cereals... a cappuccino machine, juices.
There are other common areas you should explore, like the rooftop terrace with lovely views, and an enchanting reading room. In your room there is a 4 page typed inventory of their library of books organized by language, they will bring whichever you choose to your room, I thought this was such a charming touch, very bohemian and yet elegant.
There is also a glass display case of curios and trinkets and postcards donated from guests in the past, you can tell this is a very loved hotel, in some ways more than just a hotel.
Lastly, the hotel LOOKS like the pictures! I know that is not always the case, the rooms are lovely and the outside is exquisite with that ivy crawling up the fac

What is super property? It’s a three star that acts more like a four or five. We’ve never stayed in a more friendly place. The service the staff. Everybody is exceptional. Staying there. You feel like family would recommend this highly.
