We really loved our stay here that we booked ourselves another night. They have proper beds and the rooms are neat. They provide a bag with bathrobes and slippers which you can take to the spa. The spa and wellness area is very good and relaxing. Everything was working apart from the foot bath area. They have a couple of different saunas. Everything is well organised and clean. I think we’d be back visiting this place again.

The place was beautiful but unfortunately uncomfortable. No blinds on the windows caused constant light to flood the bedroom which spacious but smelled musty.

I arrived late on the first night of my stay. The check in was fine and I got a room in a different building from the main hotel. This was expected from the name of the room. It was a Schloss Junior Suite. Room seemed fine on first inspection. In the morning it was terrible though as there were no curtains but a large window. If you are like me and prefer to sleep in darkness this isn´t a room that will suit. After I complained I got a new room in another building. This one had curtains but they were pointless as when it got light outside, so did my room. The curtains had little impact. When I went to have a shower, the shower was cold. There was no hot water. When I complained about the room having no curtains the reponse from reception that it wouldn´t disturb them. When I complained about the next room being light and the shower not having any hot water, they said my comments would be passed on. Quite poor for €190 a night. They should maybe find a way to make their rooms suitable to sleep in. Also they could follow up a guess paying so much but having to have a cold shower. I won´t be returning. Terrible standard.

We had a junior suite under the roof and no aircon. Room Was 30+ C at night - impossible to sleep ! Staff Was unable to make decisions, but offered a fan......no help when windows only opened about an inch. Can not recommed this hotel/room combination !

We booked in for one night and decided to stay two. Booked a Jounior suite which is a great size with a lovely view of the castle. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Spa area is lovely with a good size pool and outdoor area The food was great and the ox cheek was one of the best meals I've have in some time. Will be going back!

What a great hotel! Booked last minute because of rating and location. Did not expect such a lovely hotel. Staff was super at checkin. We had two rooms, mine was lovely but the other room had pink tea cup wall paper. Very strange. Beds were excellent, I could have slept for days.Breakfast buffet was a bargain for all the tasty choices. Took a walk to the lake afterwards before departing.

We rented an apartment which was large, nicely furnished and had a great balcony overlooking the valley. Desk staff were friendly and welcoming. Only spent one night there so did not try the restaurant or spa/pool facilities, but would definitely return if in the area.
