Very poorly designed room!
No place in the washroom to put your traveling bag, sink plug was broken we called and during our 4 day stay nobody came to fix it, no table in the living room to have a inroom dinner! Doesn’t worth the cost!

First we were in a terrible room with smoking smell
Than we pay a lot more to upgrade our room and the room was great and all the atmosphere changed for the best

Amazing property amazing service

I had high expectations due to other reviews and quite high price of the room. Be aware that there is a public main road running through the property! The rooms is dated to the point that it is not acceptable for a 5*hotel. The faucets were broken, the bathroom/shower are very difficult to get into. The bed is old and uncomfortable, linen is a motel quality. When these issues were addressed to management, they could’t do anything, stating that there are some rooms that were not updated yet! But why are you charging 600 euro a night for a malfunctioning room? Definitely not worth the money paid, opt for a private room or 4* nearby, at least you are not being mislead.

I am now a fan of Grecotel- The moment you walk in the staff and the kindness they show makes your stay wonderful. Apostolos drove us up and down and all around, so cheerful. our massages were wonderful- xoxox

This is a go there and relax place. There is nothing around this place. Ok beach but very well designed pool and grounds. Recommended for couples although there were plenty of families.

Clean and quiet property. Simona was very attentive to our needs as customers.

The Buffet dinner was expensive for what it offered; room service menu was better value. The a al carte restaurant options were not available every night, and fully booked when we tried. The breakfast buffet (included) was good.
The "Superior bungalow" was a strange layout with an open plan bathroom with a movable/ sliding screen; the bath had no tap, so had to be filled with the flexible hand shower - which was do-able but a bit strange. Lighting was also a bit strange, with numerous lights and slightly randomly located switches, most of these did not provide much light. The access door was a sliding glass door panel, the locking of which was using the room card; successfully achieving this was a bit of an art, and it was not immediately intuitive. A full size wooden "shutter" door provided privacy across the glass access door at night, but had sagged on its hinges so was hard to close. the remainder of the glass window was coverable by an electric roller blind.
Gym and spa pool were good, as was the outdoor pool. The private beach - accessible by tunnels under the road - was pleasant with many sun loungers and a good view of the Poseidon Temple. Both beach and main pool had bar/bistros providing a reasonable range. The temple was about a 1.6km walk along the road from the hotel, which was wide and fairly quiet. The hotel would arrange a taxi at a price. Visiting just before sunset gave good colours for photography, but also seemed to be when a number of coach tours arrived.

Staff, location and food were excellent! Room needs update. Bed was very uncomfortable. Bath fan was broken and squeaky. Told them after first night but was not fixed. The grounds were really nice. The view of the Temple was great.

The property overall was beautiful but the room we stayed in was very outdated and the bathroom needed to be gutted. The bath did not drain properly and the outlets did not work at all. There was also no vent or air conditioning in the bathroom. The shower head was placed at a low angle making impossible to take a shower. This hotel should not be rated 5 star.

Amazing hotel. Beautiful grounds beach and pool. Excellent service. Appreciated the big suite so my family of four was comfortable.

Had such a wonderful stay. We got upgraded due to Expedia Gold Membership Status which was a very nice surprise. Strawberries and Prosecco we’re also waiting in our room - another lovely gesture. Service is we polite and attentive. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty.
The room was ever so slightly dated but nothing I couldn’t look past. Shower had brilliant water pressure and the bed was very comfortable.
The property itself is stunning and the area around the pool simply gorgeous. How many hotels are there where you can see the Temple of Poseidon while swimming in the pool?! Private pool with another gorgeous view of the temple isnt to be missed either. View from the terrace is also amazing. Would not hesitate to go back; in fact, we already booked the in-laws a 3 night stay for the autumn.

We stayed at this beautiful resort last August. We had an absolutely amazing time! The resort is nested in a picturesque hill right across from the temple of Poseidon. The grounds of the resort are beautifully kept: the resort is actually built next to ancient ruins, making the stay there even more special. The staff is exceptional! By the end of our 5-day stay we knew everyone by their first names. All of them eager to make us happy and offer any possible help. The breakfast buffet is out of this world! Fresh baked croissants, fresh fruit, fresh honey (out of an actual honeycomb!) waffles, pancakes, bougatsa….you name it! The breakfast buffet is a dream come true! Once you are in the resort, there are golf carts that take you anywhere you would like: to the pool, to the beach, to your room etc.
Breathtaking views of the sea and the temple of Poseidon, especially that one night that we were lucky enough to enjoy a full moon under the beautiful voice and piano notes of a wonderful couple performing. We plan to return to this gem of a resort very soon! We had such a memorable stay!

Purchased sea view, could not see water unless outside on the porch draining your neck. Beach is across the street. Told management about issue with view they showed us room with worse view. Plan on walking on this property, everything is stretched out, and there are lots of stairs. Bathroom was way out of date, it’s is a slip and fall hazard waiting to happen. For $250 euros per night, I will never go back. The breakfast buffet was lack luster and some of the staff was rude. Pictures on Travelocity don’t match the rooms.

I was stationed in the military 38 years ago and visited the cape numerous times. I was glad to find this property to finish our trip. It is a very beautiful property but it showed som wear in our unit. There was a storm in the area so we didn’t use the pool. The bar food (tacos, sliders) were delicious. We had a mosquito issue in our unit and the wasps were out of control the day after the storm, which made breakfast uncomfortable

Our room didn’t have any view but it was very clean and modern and had a lot of extra’s such as robes, slippers, and toiletries. They also set up a nice arrangement for our anniversary of champagne and sweets. We ate at their restaurants on the resort and both were OK- not great.
