The property is very good location next to beautiful Cala, why 3,stars? Because the stuff they need to be more nice. I found the staff a little bit rude. When you ask for something is like you asking too much. If is an all inclusive hotel means all inclusive. I asked to the front for taxi and they quick sent me out to wait for taxi at taxi stations when is 93 degrees. I when store in front of the hotel and they more nice people called it for me. Need to work on customer service and will be 5 stars.

The place was amazing no question about it, only downside was the private parking which was almost impossible to acquire. They could not get you on a waiting list so you would have to ask at the reception all the time...

Lovely place , decent room size, very close to the beach.

The hotel feels brand new. But so do the staff. The check in process was painfully slow, the front desk staff seem to have no urgency, always slow for every request. The elevators are also very, very slow. Something to keep in mind if you book a higher floor, you’ll likely be taking the stairs.

If you are looking for a family holiday with kids under 8 feel like it’d be perfect as they have loads of activities by the pool with kids. However, the hotel staff was not that pleasant and would brush you off whenever you asked for things there’s not enough umbrellas around the pools for everyone therefore had to wake up super early to leave towels there or you’d be left on a subbed with no towels. Rooms could do with an upgrade even when cleaned they would never reopen the hand soaps or anything apart from towels which I found weird. Have to rent the towels with a deposit of €10 and everytime you wanted a change of towels it was €2 which I’d never experienced before. The food was okay not the best but not the worse either, it’s close to town and has a lovely view. Apart from that a very big let down would not revisit

This was our first time to Barceló Aguamarina. I could fault anything apart from the sunbathing terrace being a bit tight in space as the building tends to block out the sun by mid day, if your happy to get up early to reserve a sunbeam looking out to the sea then you’ll have the sun all day. Or your other option is to move to the swimming g pool around the front of the hotel during the afternoon.
The hotel was immaculately clean and all the staff are friendly and very hard working. The food was excellent everyday with a good selection of salads, fruits, vegetables and meat options to suit all requirements, we were all inclusive and when we’ve been all inclusive before we’ve tended to eat out of the hotel to mix things up a bit, but we didn’t this time as the food was so good. The all inclusive alcohol options are very good also, plenty of choice of cocktails, spirts and beers.
We stayed in a superior interconnected room with a sea view, the view was amazing and room and everything we needed, it was cleaned promptly everyday and toiletries were replenished.
All in all we had a lovely week and would definitely visit again, hotel, staff and surroundings were excellent.

The hotel feels more like a 3 star than a 4 star. The food was very average. We ended up only having breakfast in the hotel even though we had paid for half board. Due to the hotel messing up our interconnecting rooms and only offering us 2 rooms next to each other with 2 children, we were upgraded to all inclusive, which we did not make use of. Would return to resort, however not the hotel.

Lovely stay in a superior room. Interior very modern with minimal signs of use. Dining experience was exceptional, with half board including drinks. Entertainment through the evenings available too. Staff all very kind and helpful, multilingual too making life very easy.

The reception desk wouldn’t call us a taxi, that was very disappointing because every other hotel has done that for us no problem. Also the view was of the beach chairs mostly and not the ocean view we requested. We were on our honeymoon and did not get a nice room, so disappointing Barcelo aguamarina didn’t give us a nice room for our special occasion. Will not stay again or recommend this hotel to friends and family

Excellent location, comfortable room. Front desk staff were lovely! Food in the buffet was mediocre to poor and service was practically non-existant. Parking is pricey and street parking is limited.

Elevators need to be fixed. Only one of 3 elevayators were working. It needs to offer coffee in all the meals.

Overall, one of the better spots on the south-east side of Mallorca. Staff was extremely helpful. Access to beautiful beach is easy and it is one of better beaches around. The all-inclusive part includes food and drinks; food is fine but not great which is usually expected from an all-inclusive option. There are great restaurants and shopping areas within few minutes. The better entertainment area is about a 12 minute walk from the hotel. If you depend on elevators, be patient , as two small elevators service the entire hotel so we took stairs most of the time. I would definitely stay again.

The property overall was alright. The beach and the water are really nice. Unfortunately because of a storm we could enjoy the beautiful turqouise water only once within our one week stay. The rest of the time the water was brown.
The food in the hotel was at best mediocre and the service in the hotel restaurant very poor. Servers at the buffet were not tentative or aware of their surroundings when serving guests. Multiple times we were never asked our drink orders or after we ordered them, were not brought to us.

I really like the style of the hotel and my room. I'm happy I paid extra to get sea view, the other views are very sad. But within a week I needed to have two reparations done, one of the elevators was broken for days. So even if it looks new and has 4* it's still not perfect. Food was good and of good quality. I only booked half board, drinks cost extra at dinner time. One glass of wine is 4,50 Euro. Paying extra for all inclusive might actually pay off. There are a few pretty beaches nearby to go swimming. But Cala D'or is very touristic and crowded in general.

Deeply disappointed in recent stay. They checked me into a room with dangerous levels of visible black mold around a/c unit in room located overhead of bed.Made management aware& asked for new room. After numerous excuses for not giving me a room that was safe to stay in they told me I will need to stay in the room, that it’s ok now we had it cleaned. Upon entering the post “cleaned” room was noted black mold still remained on wall all around a/c unit ,also a/c not working, maintenance needed to come out to screw back on a window a/c trip switch that was barely hanging on by one nail. He stated is busy daily constantly fixing around property. The info coming from a staff maintenance worker is unsettling knowing he is that busy fixing things in a supposed 4 star hotel. That is what I would expect from an motel or a poorly star rated one. Hotel.com was also notified about the unsafe environmental hazard of black mold in room&there offer was we can give you a $25 credit to apply in the future or refund. I’m not sure how that is even a rational minded solution considering I paid $171.05 per nite for 4 star advertised hotel but received motel 6 ,1 star rate room & customer service.I could not find another hotel room as it’s short notice.all they needed to do was give me a clean room that did not have hazardous Black Mold.I now have respiratory issues from breathing in this mold & need to seek medical advice & further council. There are much better hotels & service on island.

The hotel was completely redone and beautiful. Check in staff was friendly. Our room was large and had a balcony looking over the beach and inlet. The bathroom was large and had a decent amount of counter space. I wish it had a shelf as well. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were very soft. The hotel gave us a free upgrade of full board from half board but I did not enjoy the food at all. Food was not prepared with fresh ingredients. Many of the food staff seemed confused and were not helpful or particularly friendly although not unfriendly. None of them smiled. If I stay at this hotel again, I would not get the board. It had nightly entertainment and a sports bar which was very nice. I enjoyed it.

View of the Cala was amazing as was the location of the hotel. Best hotel in that area. It was also all inclusive which I didn’t realize.

Overall we had a decent stay at the Barcelo Ponent Playa. It was our first trip to Mallorca, travelling with 2 babies. I found the hotel front desk to be rude at times and not very accommodating. The property itself is clean and nice and the beach is amazing. Was not happy with the quality and selection of food as well.

The hotel is situated in a really lovely area with lots of things to do in the local area. Take the lift down to the ground floor and you’ll be seconds away from the hotels own private beach where you can enjoy swimming in the clear water or lounging on the sun beds. The staff are amazing and are always willing to help out whenever they can, going above and beyond to ensure you have the best holiday possible.

not the best hotel, anyway, close to the cala Ferrera, so you still enjoy it

The hotel was on the beach front. I loved that our room had a fantastic view of the bay.The lifts in the hotel can be improved, they are old and slow and the doors close without warning. I saw an elderly gentleman stuck in the door, fortunately for him my husband is a big man and he had the strength to pry the door open otherwise it would have been disastrous.

We had an excellent transfer from the airport. The drive was very skillfull. The check in was smooth and after dropping our bags in the room we went to the restaurant to have something to eat (1am).
Our room had one of the best veiw's of the beach and cove. The room was clean but furniture was a little shabby and dated. Very comfortable bed. All the staff were helpful and polite. The entertainment team were fantastic. They encouraged participation but weren't pushy. There was a variety of different foods, with themed nights. The pool was clean and the grounds were well keeps.

The location is perfect although everything around is set up for English/germans tourism and not Spanish. Walking distance to the town centre and the port. Swimming pool very good, service excellent, food average quality.

The location was perfect, the scenery was beautiful. The staff were lovely, very accommodating and tried to help in any way they could. The food was lovely and there was plenty of choice. The rooms were clean and decent sized. There were so many activities to get involved in, it would be great for families with children. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I will definitely be going again.

I have stayed at this hotel on a number of times ,and have always found the staff helpful and enjoyed my stay... this is still the case.... I have also found the food at the this hotel good with what I think is a reasonable variety of dishes on offer in the restaurant both for breakfast and evening meals... please note... at peek times the restaurant can be a bit heck-tick for both breakfast and during the evening... my only real complaint is ... the hotel and rooms them selves are now looking a bit tired and could do with a bit of TLC... this was shown during my stay , when we had some minor problems with the hotel Lifts... but overall I would recommend this Hotel to anyone ..!

Superb location hotel staff very friendly. Evening entertainment fab and kids club great fun very friendly team. Hotel right on the beach with playground great for kids. Only downside is the pool is very small for the size of the hotel we had a standard room with two twin beds and one fold away bed room could have been bigger.

The staff was extraordinarily friendly, from the miniland to the beach bar. We were offered an upgrade as it seemed they had overbooking so we stayed the first two nights in a hotel only 4 minutes away by foot. The passion and energy from the miniland staff was unparalleled. Our son was very happy there and came home with really good memories from the activities and shows.

Great location with easy to find parking on near by streets. Food was ok. Lots of families and kids so would avoid if you are a young couple like us. Our room overlooked the bar, which had kids music, dance and karaoke until 11pm each night. Service was good with friendly staff. The room was outdated however it was clean. terrible wifi in room and the worst bed. the double was two single beds on wheels which was awful to sleep on and very noisy. Its a nice resort and good value for money however we wouldnt stay here again unless I had kids we me. The town its self is very kid friendly so avoid if this isnt not you. Not much to do at night unless you like karaoke in all the bars around town.
