Impeccable

Good rooms, not much to do in the hotel, the reception open hours are poor (bar Saturday) and so if you arrive between 12 and 5 midweek..... good luck
The comms from the hotel was not great, and a quick answer to one question would have helped (luggage store).
Also, the ski place next door is great and you get a discount - so just go. there

Booked fir children … very clean and tidy accommodation

We had 2 separate apartments for 1 week, staff were friendly and the apartments were good value for money. The location was perfect for the ski lifts. Also there is a restaurant located within the hotel, again it was pleasant and the food was good.
4.0
Very well located close to the slopes, the closets lift is about 200 metres away!
Typical French ski accommodation so not a luxury property but a very good example of its type. Clean and comfortable and, importantly for us, has post-checkout baggage storage available (unlike its closest neighbour) so a much better choice if you want to ski on your last day before heading back to the airport.

Peeling paint. Boarded up restaurants, broken boot warmers

Liked the location, near the ski lift and the Forum and also ski hire shop.
Didnt like the property as open spaces are dated, rooms are dated and foisty and the ski lockers dont have any boot heaters working. The rooms smell of foistyness and drains.

Ideally situated , friendly and pleasant staff , all you need for a basic family ski holiday.
Bedroom was good and the fold down sofa bed was good quality , Kitchen was very well stocked , Spar just down the road for stocking up on food drink etc

The reception is pretty unappealing however the apartment is adequate, spacious, plenty of hot water, great view.
Its not premium in any way but the price reflects this. Could have been a little cleaner, black hairs on the bedding and the floor needed a better vacuuming. Bird mess all over the balcony.
Good location but a little tired if I'm honest.

Great location and views everything generally in good condition. Staff friendly and helpful. Shower/back cubicle leaked which soaked the bathroom floor.

Great location as just 50 meters or so to the closest lift (and a short red run down to the main gondola lift). There is a supermarket just across the road and a number of restaurants around. Clean apartments. Helpful staff and good prices. I would stay there again.

Very nice accommodation and very good location beside ski hire shop and 200 meters from the slopes. had to queue for an hour for our ski equipment and for 40 minutes for our lift passes but once on the slopes the snow was good, the runs were well groomed and the queues for lifts were very short.

Apartment larger than expected, very comfortable.
Fantastic view from balcony up into the skiing area.
Under 100m to the Grand Vans 8px chairlift, opposite the lift down to Flaine Forum.
Very helpful at reception on (early) arrival - able to leave luggage and get out skiing while room was prepared.

The property is near the slopes and the lifts down to the forum. The rooms are perfect for eating in with an adequate kitchen area.
The reception is pretty unavailable most of the time.
They don’t do the bread run in the morning anymore. ☹️

This property was hugely convenient with easy access to the slopes, ski locker, funicular to travel between levels of the resort and ski hire facilities. It also had local access to a supermarket, cinema, bowling alley, bars and restaurants. The ESF ski school is also just below the property. It was an excellent choice for an active, sociable family that love to ski and love to participate in Apres- ski activities with friends and family.

Location quite remote. Apartment not spotlessly clean as one might expect. Wasp nest in balcony dealt with by partial refund of bill. Overall quite disappointing. Views however to die for - fabulous.

Just returned home from a week long stay at Pierre and Vacances residence in flaine.
Our room was fantastic, plenty of space for our family of 4, we had a 1 bed apartment. The only thing we lacked was a kettle so we just drank coffee all week!
We borrowed a fondue set from reception one evening at no extra cost and our children borrowed board games also at no extra cost. We loved the fact that you could order bread and breakfast items at reception and collect them the following morning.
One afternoon there was a lovely market outside the hotel selling bread, nougat, waffles and lots of other yummy things.
The communal area does look a bit tired but our children loved the pool table and football table.
Also the boot room is very spacious and has boot warmers!!!!!!!
We would definitely stay here again.

Staff excellent
WiFi terrible
Building old and like a youth hostel
Apartment dated and needs full refurbishment - stained and poorly presented
Beds more suitable for children
Apartment size for 5 was comfortable for 2 people
You have to make up your own beds upon arrival
NOT ski in and out which was very disappointing
Noisy corridors so it was like communal living
But the staff were excellent!!
Tv did not work either

Nice hotel close to the slopes supermarket and restaurants. Very friendly reception staff and very good ski room. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Good loacation and perfect accommodation for a ski trip. Everything is close buy. For some strange Reason they shut the reception desk between 12 and 4 almost every day. When we arrived at 1:30 hoping to have half day on the slopes we called the out of hours number only to be told they did not have a key for left luggage which meant we were stranded with nothing to do for the rest of the afternoon. We were told to come back at 4 PM. Despite other guests indicating that the hotel was very accommodating with providing changing facilities etc until the rooms are free from about 5 o’clock we found this very disappointing and was a very bad start to the holiday with a wasted day. Overall however I would recommend this hotel.

Very helpful reception staff, were not aware of planned late arrival despite this being documented on booking form. We had contacted hotel separately as advised so this was not a problem and they arranged for our appartment key to be left in a key safe at reception as reception is not manned 24hrs. However it proved a little difficult to first of all find the hotel contact details from the booking form and then only a telephone number and no email contact was provided and it took some perseverance to actually get a reply.
Be aware when booking for more than two people that these are appartments sleeping 6-7 with two bedrooms and additional pullout beds in the sitting room. We had a party of four and did not wish to all be sharing one room but by booking two rooms we actually ended up with two appartments!

Although we stayed one night and it is approximately 40 minutes from the autoroute it was worth it. The views are spectacular, air lovely and a calm quiet place to stay. The hotel rooms were spacious although you had to pay for the internet.
4.0
A functional and reasonable affordable bit of accomodation. The noise from the bar was audible just about on some nights, but was no real problem (we are talking "strain to hear it", not "I can't sleep").
One point I would make is not to bother with the 15 euro wireless. It doesn't have the capacity to cater for the number of people in the accomodation, so you get constant "too many subscribers messages". Skip it and save yourself the money.
Beyond that all is good. Flaine is much the same: Affordable and gets the job done.

Perfect place for a short break in the quiet but lovely ski area of Flaine...Have stayed in SC apartments before and this one compared very well. Having the shop downstairs and other amenities close by is a real bonus. Otherwise room was clean and very comfortable and the inclusion of a cleaning kit was very much appreciated. Our only negative comment was that the fridge in our room didnt work very well so some of our food went off by the end of our stay. Suggest put the fridge on max when you get in and if not cold, alert reception.

Great location. Apartments were basic but had all that was required. Comfy beds, lots of hot water and very quiet. Great ski locker room and supermarket on site with fresh bakery every morning.
