We ended up at the Grandview after we had issues with our original hotel. We visit Las Vegas a few times a year, but this was our first time staying so far south on the Strip.
We were pleasantly surprised that there was so much to offer close by. The SouthPointe casino is right next door, so there is plenty of opportunity for gambling and eating. Our room was spacious and clean, although we could have used a few more outlets close to the beds for charging electronics. It is an older facility, and some may think it dated, but our room was clean and quiet.
I will definitely consider this property the next time we return to Vegas. If you enjoy a cleaner, slower paced get away and you have your own transportation, I recommend staying at the Grandview or another hotel/resort on the south end of the strip.

The property is really nice and the apartments very spacious and well equipped. If i was to be picky the only points that let it down slightly was the sound proofing is non existent. You can here your neighbours talking and they weren't shouting. Also when they cooked the smell of food come straight through into our room. Also the rooms whilst clean in areas you need to be has a lot of dust particularly around the tv in the bedroom and when i raised the blind to take a photo out of the window the blinds were very dusty and the bottom of the windows black with mould. That said these small points would not deter me from staying here again. Very nice property comfortable stay

Room was dirty and hot water was not consistent. Very disappointed especially considering Hotel.com recommendation.

Very convenient and perfect for a Vegas vacation. Discounted stay was ideal for our budget. Had some difficulty getting a parking pass and the room decor could use some minor renovation (torn carpet in bedroom), but all in all a great stay.

Mattress was uncomfortable and sofa sleeper has seen better days

It was a pleasant stay. Only thing that was bad was we were stuck in the back building which makes walking to South Point or to Uber was a pain. Other than that, it was very nice. Thanks.

Always remember how comfortable this place feels. Has all of the elements on a vacation that makes you feel at home even when you’re away.

This propertybis very dated and in desperate need of updating. Our room was filty dirty. The floors hadnt been done in weeks, the shower has mold everywhere, the dishwasher had old food stuck all over it. I would not recommend this property at all.

The negatives: TV in the livingroom didn't have signal which took a while for someone to come fix. The QCI should have caught that prior to releasing the room. The light switches are awkwardly placed and the kitchen & bathroom lights were very dimly lit. The ADA shower is a tight fit, especially for someone in a wheelchair. The furniture looks pretty but is hard as a rock.
The positives: the space and layout of the entire unit, kitchen was well stocked minus no baking sheets, bed was comfortable, jacuzzi tub is large, and we felt safe & secure.

As advertised clean and easy check in and check out

Rude management. Refused to provide housekeeping services. My room was filthy. Bathtub had brown stains and hair. Overall furnishings were old. Coffee maker was falling apart. Noise level was high. I hardly got any rest. Management refused to change rooms or clean bath tub. Worse 4 day stay.

When I checked-in I was put in a room that looked like a dump. I went to the front desk to change my room, I was told I could not stay in certain buildings because I was not a time share owner. I felt very humiliated. If that is the case, why are they advertised for everyone to stay there. Plus, my room was dirty. I had to dust all the furniture due to allergies, spray Lysol and wash all the dishes. They were put in the cabinet unwashed. My shears looked like rats had been eating on them. The drapes were very dusty. My cousin who is a time share owner came while I was there. Her room looked like a palace compared to my room. This was my very time staying at the Grand View and has left a terrible taste in my mouth. I am from the East Coast and was surprised with the type of room and treatment I received. I felt like a second-class citizen. I didn't come that distance to be treated as such. I suggest in the future if people that rent and pay their money can't be treated just like a time share owner with the same convenience, perhaps you all should just have it for time share owners. I am still humiliated today. I shouldn't feel this way but I do. You all should have more transportation since the buildings are located so far from the registration building. I had to walk 5 AM in the morning to the registration building to catch my Uber. It was a very scary situation. I have never had to do anything like that before and shouldn't have to in the future. I have pictures of everythin

We love this hotel. Great for a family with kids. This is where we usually stay when going to Vegas. It has all that you need to have a great stay.

It was terrible the 1st room we had was dirty, food stuck on the counters, sparks flew when I tried to plug in my charger in the kitchen.
Got moved to another same thing, air was dirty, trash on the floor, food on the bar counters, finger prints on the glass table, and the refrigerator wasn’t working all that well! Complained and got yelled at by the manager who made 1/2 attempt effort, again didn’t want to change rooms 3 x — then the last 3 days it smelled like cigarette smoke. Yuck! I got a very minimal credit, asked for an early check out and was told no, until I complained about all the problems then the manager agreed!

We love staying here - especially for baseball tournaments. Super spacious!

We always enjoy having the convenience of a home. We enjoy staying at the Grandview, but the condos are starting to show their age. They could stand some deep cleaning and updating.

Everything was very good except the noise factor in our room. There seemed to be a plumbing problem with the room next door or the room on the floor above us.

Too much noise and human traffic. Smelly halls and rooms with no view. Food smell all over the buildings.

Very clean, quiet and reasonable price! Courteous staff. It is a little far from everything

Every exit people were by the door smoking Marijuana. It came through the hallways & vents in our room. Not much security. Parking in front of units hard to come by & random loitering of individuals at morning hours. Long check in line & of course an opportunity to sell your name to solicitors for time share info. Room offered spacious living & liked the lay-out. Would stay again if they got rid of the riff-raff!

The resort was lovely. The rooms are actually small condos, and the pools are nice. The only major drawback is that very few people there are renting. They will tell you that there is a "complementary" buffet and take a deposit to reserve your place. The buffet turns out to be a 2 hour sales pitch for a timeshare, and if you don't sit through the whole thing you're out money.

Every thing was nice

The bathtub and shower were not cleaned. Lots of hair and soap scum. Missing kitchen utensils and spare blanket and sheets. Strong odors of marijuana upon entry into the Jasmine building.

My car broke down and it was the Labor Day Weekend. All the hotels were booked and wanted a obscene amount of money for a couple nights. The lady at the check in gave me a great rate and even helped me book the room through a third party vendor so I could get the room even cheaper. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The room was perfect and was a welcome place to de-stress from the problems with my vechicle.

Good customer service. Needed to change rooms sheet checking 5 hours later. Unbelievable ant problem, but they send up a bell hop and escorted us to our new room.
Loved the kiddie pool area. Overall awesome stay. I recommend. Their located right before the strip.

I didn't like that there were 6 large buildings and only 2 charging stations for my electric vehicle. I had to travel to a nearby resort, that had over 13 charging stations, late at night to charge my vehicle.

We were traveling for an event at South Point. They had no rooms available. So we stayed at Grand View and really liked it! It truly was a short walk to South Point. The rooms were large, clean, and quiet. We will definitely stay there again!
