Air Conditioning not working. I arrived at 1am with an early start. The hotel should do checks to make sure everything in the room is functioning well. The maintenance person came but needed to bring his tools and it seemed that this was going to take much more time. With limited time to sleep, I did not want to spend more time waiting for the A/C to be fixed. Had a terrible night as temperatures outside were 90F.

Limited overnight room service menu. Terrible service at the Bar du hotel at night, many things on the menu and not available besides the large language barrier to be an american brand. Dirty and stained carpets in the room aisles and poor quality room amenities. If you like to rest after a business day this isnt the place. You can hear a lot of noises from the convention center or activities until late at night regardless of what room level your are. Loooooong check in linea and there is nothing around this area.

Everything was good, except the huge line ALL the time at front desk; the poor options on TV channel, and the small options on omelette in the breakfast

I stayed 3 nights. The first 2 were very good and calm. However on the 3rd one the hotel sold more than 80% of their rooms for a big group of teenagers and young adults that made my last night very noisy. They were screaming after 10pm (Which is against the Brazilian law), they were loud in the hallways, at the gym area... We could see drunk teenagers everywhere. The hotel couldn’t control the noise levels neither that huge crowd. The hotel put profit over the comfort of the other guests. Unfortunately I regret paying such an expensive amount to stay there that 3rd night. The carnival season would have made my stay worse which is in February March for the same reason. Hotel is close to the carnival area. Watch out for an expensive noisy night! I couldn’t believe I wouldn’t be able to sleep well on my last night during the month of November.

Noisy all night long, concert next door until 5 am and drunks in the corridor banging on doors

Bad location. A long walk from anywhere. Many concerts with extremely loud music at night.

Food was outstanding and the staff was extremely knowledgable. I would go back. Clean rooms, 4 water bottles per day, and the convention center was extremely convenient.

I stayed in this hotel for business for one night on Tuesday. I was traveling from Europe and was on the way to US so the time zone difference was significant and I needed to go to bed early and get a good sleep. Unfortunately there was a big party organized in this hotel with very loud music going until 11pm!!! This hotel doesn't treat business guests seriously.

Clean and comfortable and good for a short stay. Room very basic but comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was great. Ideal for one or two nights when you have business in close vicinity . Courtesy bus to the closeby Porte Norte Shopping centre added to convenience.

Easy to reach from Guarulhos airport, a thirty minute drive away on a weekend. Although large and somewhat impersonal the hotel is a practical place to stay in Sao Paulo. Arrived at the very moment Brazil was being knocked out by Belgium in the 2018 Rusia world cup, so moods were glum but attention by the staff remained efficient and affable. The hotel in next to the Sambodromo which could mean it is practical for those that wish to see this show when it happens although could be noisy for those that are not interested. There was loud music until 4am the night we stayed there. The breakfast was good and very varied.

The hotel itself is huge, has a decent restaurant, lots of friendly English-speaking staff. The lobby is bright and spacious, the staff on the desk kept the incredibly long check-in line moving and were very pleasant. The biggest plus of this place is the people. To a person, they were all helpful and pleasant.
The building and rooms seem a little dated, and it's clearly a hotel that does a huge convention business, so it kind of is what it is. Nothing too special, though in the common parts of the hotel, everything was fine.
My room, 434, had clearly had a flooding event at some point. The room had a very musty odor of mold, and there was black mold on the baseboard in the bathroom and on the track of the shower door, along with rot on the bottom of the door frame and wallpaper that looked like it was starting to peel from the moisture issue. If they offer you this room, decline it and ask for another.
The furnishings were okay, bed was passable, I could hear the door next to mine pretty loudly, but once the person was inside the room, I couldn't hear them. The room looked out onto a parking lot and highway, but there didn't seem to be much in the way of street noise, so that was fine.
The colleague I was traveling with had no issues in his room, so I suspect it was just my room that had problems with odor and mold, rather than a widespread problem with cleanliness.

Great location, not to many options of food, only a self service restaurant and room service (limited time).

It is located in an area with easy access to metro and shopping center north. They also have fast access to highways SP. Have a shuttle service every 30 min to subway and shopping center.

good for the convention center, almost in the same building of the hotel. Facilities old and not running good, the key always not workable in the elevator, make a lot of trouble when it's full. The small room and small bed not up to a 4 star hotel standard. Very expensive by around Usd200 per night. The buffet not good, for both breakfast & dinner.

Great room, great price. the receptionist was really helpful and got us into our room earlier due to flights coming in early. Great stay
Thanks
