Great stay. Cozy and spacious room. Can recommend massages as well. Dinner at the restaurant downstairs was a bit disappointing, however, the terrasse bar and breakfast were awesome.

Could not recommend this hotel more! We had a week of serene relaxation. The hotel is slightly outside the nearest town and not connected by public transport but the hotel is well served by local taxi. Fabulous if you are looking for a relaxing escape!
Staff were incredible - polite, friendly, helpful, diligent (the list goes on)! No ask was too big or too trivial and someone was always on hand to help out. We were slightly late in the season so the hotel was quiet (no bad thing) but still had plenty of activities on (walks and exercise classes etc.) and live music on some days with dinner.
The rooms are large, clean and well serviced! The spa is phenomenal… we went almost everyday and my fiancée loved her back massage. The pool and beach equally as incredible. The beach is a 15/20 minute drive away on a shuttle service (only a couple of options but this may have been time of year) but this is comfortable and timely.
Food and drink options are plentiful at seemingly all hours of the day and we very much enjoyed overindulging at the hotel restaurant.
All in all, a very pleasant and enjoyable trip - would certainly return to Almar!

Great resort, do not miss the wellness area!

What a beautiful, grand, Italian hotel! Incredible value and impeccable service. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and nothing was a problem. We had a large, well appointed room with the most comfortable sofa bed for our son. The pool, spa and breakfast were all incredible too. And, bonus-there’s a beach club a short drive away with great food and sun loungers on a cute beach.
Book this hotel, do not hesitate for a second.
(There isn’t a lot around the hotel and the nearby town felt abandoned but, we were visiting in August when locals shut up shop and head to the beach themselves!)

Together with my 2 children we had a wonderful 3 night stay, the staff were very welcoming and helpful especially Letitzia… we will definitely go back

There were a lot of good things about this hotel the rooms were excellent and most staff were friendly and professional. My main complaints are about some staff conduct and the average food. Upon arrival there is a barrier for security purposes which is good. However when you pull up to the entrance there is no one to receive you and help with your bags. The initial reception I received from Maria was unfriendly which changed quickly but the damage was already done. The micro aggressions continued as I ordered lunch only to have the waiter stick his hand across my face twice to point out a menu option. It was clear aggression as he heard me say chicken salad loud and clear. I did not pay all that money to get poked in the face. I had to go to reception to suggest that they take a course in diversity. After that things improved but sadly at check out the aggression continued albeit with a fake charm. A male receptionist first insisted that I did not have a car at the hotel because he could not “find” the container that was right in front of him. Then he went to get the car and did not readjust the car seat to its original position. Finally the security barrier was not raised as we left with a consequential delay. Micro aggressions are by there nature are ambiguous but in hospitality you should not be questioning if you’re being treated disrespectfully. The staff I referenced let themselves down.

Big and comfortable rooms, beautiful pool/garden area, outstanding spa.

Pleasant stay. Excellent service! Staff is very lovely 😊 dining is good!

This is a beautiful resort outside of Mazaro del Vallo. We were only there one night at the end of the season so we didn't enjoy any of the big amenities like the pool. It's a ways outside of Mazaro, so if you are looking for a place in town, this isn't the place. But, it is a resort, and an absolutely beautiful one at that.
The staff is exactly what you expect from a top resort. Super attentive, helpful in every way. We enjoyed our night there. Would recommend for those looking for a resort experience.

Wonderful hotel. Staff was outstanding. Would come back again.

A very nice property. It is certainly one of the nicest hotels in the area. Its location is odd because it reslly is on the middle of nowhere. Worth a stay, but no choices other than a 6 mile drive into town for drinks or dinner

What a fantastic hotel, best in the region!!

Fantastic hotel and staff. Great location and close to beautiful Mazara and a short drive to other places of interest.
We had seven day's of luxury. Thank you

Wonderful triple deluxe room. Very spacious and beautiful bathroom.
But wifi is too slow. Ask for a free iPad router at the desk for very fast internet.

not much to say as this was just a quick stopover. Dinner was very good. The people super friendly, bu that no surprise at a nice hotel in Sicily.

The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful garden that at the end of April was a blaze of colorful flowers. Luxury and relaxation go hand in hand in this well-kept facility and organized with friendly and knowledgeable staff. A special mention for bed and pillows of higher level, thanks to which I slept deeply and from which I woke up really refreshed. An aperitif with a view of the park and the swimming pool, a dinner based on Trapanese fish cous cous, prawns from Mazara and native wines from Marsala, complete an A-plus judgment.

The drive from Segesta to the hotel was really bad, especially at night. However, the hotel itself was very nice.

Relaxing nice resort. Closest town is a 1 nighter. Average breakfast. Nice garden. Huge room....clean. Pleasant staff.

Nice hotel, but really needs to be updated. In an amazing location, on amazing grounds, but it is really outdated. Comfortable and clean though and affordable.
2.5
Very good hotel with excellent facilities. Spacious room. Nice swimming pools both indoors and outside. High class dining. The hotel is surrounded with wine yards and olives - nice to have a walk around.

Wifi didn't work very well. Food was good. Spa was nice.

We found the staff unhelpful and somewhat rude. The rooms were clean but could never get cool enough for restful sleep.

Good hotel, great rooms, a bit out away from anything, good restaurant. Again, rooms great, very large and comfortable.

Visited the hotel at the end of October so it was the end of the season. The atmosphere was relaxed and peasant and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.
Definitely a recommend as a base for exploring the area or just to relax by the pool.

Not Kempinski anymore (name wiped from entrance carpet). Clean and spacious rooms. Nice indoor pool. Poor surroundings. Expensive restaurant.

I like the hotel very much. The staff tries and do a wonderful job at making you feel comfortable. The change from kempinski and now not in the leading hotels it remains to be seen if this will have any effect. The rooms are beautiful as is the hotel. It is in the countryside but good location to town and day trip to Erice. It is a very specific niche hotel.
1.3
Great service, lovely food, beautiful rooms. Spa facilities included in the nightly rate, lovely outside pool. The staff couldnt be more helpful. Its a few minutes drive out of the town but that means the hotel is in its own little oasis and peaceful. I recommend his hotel thoroughly and will not hesitate to return.

Ideal for a relaxing break. Excellent amenities and attentive staff - but luxury comes at a price.
I booked for three nights and stayed for four. I had a car and would be problematic to explore the area without one - the town is a 25 Euro taxi ride away.
2.5
High quality hotel with very 'new' feel (hotel is only 2 years old). Service and food excellent. Perfect place to chill out in a quiet part of Sicily.
