Bar staff were excellent. Receptionist was rude & argumentative. She didn’t inform us that there was a “Bull Run” in the village and we couldn’t leave the hotel in the morning because the roads were closed. Room was old & tired. Wouldn’t return & these activities should be stopped!

We had a 2-story room with a balcony that had a view of the garden, pool and mountains while the front room had a view of old town so it’s the best of both worlds. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. I believe it will soon undergo a major renovation and transform it into a 5-star hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Just amazing! The grounds are gorgeous. The staff is fantastic- they go above and beyond with everything. Such a lovely stay. We cannot wait to return!

Fantastic view which made it a restful stop on a very busy trip around Provence. A nice easy town to navigate and the hotel is as close as you can get to the center of town. We will return.

Overall, absolutely do not stay here. It was 104 degrees outside and 93 degrees inside our room at 11 pm. We approached the front desk 6 or 7 times about this, they finally moved us to the room next door, it was 85 degrees at 11 pm the next night. The AC does not work and they will do nothing to assist you nor discount your stay for the camping-like atmosphere.
The hotel is old and needs updating, rooms were serviced inconsistently, never swept or cleaned our floors a single time during an 8 days stay nor replenished pool towels or water in the room.
To their credit they did tells us the room had no AC, about 12 hours before our arrival, while we were on a plane coming from the states so we had absolutely no other options but to stay there or book a room in a city about 40 minutes away. Avoid at all costs. 1.5 star hotel at best. Absurd for the summer price.

We had a great stay overall. The location is absolutely fantastic, literally in the center of town. The pool area was very nice, the breakfast was great and the room was good. The only caveat was the fact that the hotel restaurant didn’t seem to really have planned for guests having lunch, where on several occasions it was either full or out of food.

There was no one to take our bags or park our car. The room was sort of okay. The chairs they had in the room were tiny and not comfortable. The mattress has seen it's better days. The view of the unkempt yard was disappointing. The breakfast was horrible. We had the room with the tree house and we did enjoy that. We had a cocktail party with the friends we were traveling with and that was fun. The location is good.

Hotel was lovely. The staff and management very helpful. The AC was not working which was inconvenient but fortunately weather was cool. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

Hotel de l'Image is in a wonderful location and is very pleasant. We have stayed there three times but our last visit was less pleasing than the others. I just have the feeling that this hotel is beginning to be run for the benefit of the staff rather the guests and previously high standards are slipping.

The only thing was very nice in doing their job was the cleaing people in the room. the front desk was helpful somewhat, but unfortunately were not able to change local currencty. Hotel needs to have a complete rehab of the amenitis they have. Does not look to an standard 4 star property. The property is staring to look old and outdated. Need to have a good revamp of the grounds and offer more amenities for guests.

Our room had an incredible view of les alpilles. The people were very nice.
We've stayed here ever since it 1st opened. It's starting to get a bit shabby & needs a renovation.

Such a great hotel and location! Right in the middle of the old town. Great cafe’s and bars right outside the door!

On the edge of a picturesque town with plenty of restaurants and pretty car free old streets, the hotel has a spacious garden and a lovely pool. A great location for visiting the local area.

When we arrived they told the air con in our block was not working .They could have called us earlier in the day so we had time to make plans .we moved out to a different much nicer hotel
I am please we moved out as the room was tiny and really depressing . I have stayed here before about nine years ago and I could see how now it’s very run down and quite depressing
When we stayed at the new hotel they told us the air on at image Hôtel is always breaking down in the new block
We had to move out and really they should have helped with our bags or at least offered to pay breakfast at the new hotel
We have been travelling all day and really this spoiled our day

The hotel and grounds are beautiful. Staff was good. Location was great. Breakfast was fantastic. Only issue was the room. We walked in and were overcome by a heavy cologne sent. They must spray this in the rooms to freshen them up. It was so strong and awful. The room was very small and there was a dead spider in the desk. The air conditioner did not work and it was hot and stuffy in the room. We were lucky to have live entertainment on a Tuesday night outside by the bar. Very enjoyable. This place was fantastic except for the room.

Broken AC during heat wave, Staff accommodating by sending us to another hotel and giving us upgrade for second night. Glass of champagne. A bit of a hassle to move bags etc. Hotel itself has nice pool, garden. Good spot for bike touring. Mattress wes too firm for our taste.

Best part of hotel is the location. Balcony is also large and wonderful.

The room we were give required carrying suitcases up 33 stairs.
Also it was not possible to get a coffee or tea during the day.The reason given was that the bar was closed and wouldn’t let be open until June 1.
Not good service

Hotel was centrally located in St. Remy. Good breakfast every morning and beautiful outdoor spaces to relax with coffee (morning) or glass of famous local Rose wine (evening). The pool looked beautiful, but we did not have time to use it.

We had a great experience and really enjoyed the hotel and wonderful staff. Good location for the area and many excellent restaurants in the area. A good choice for families and. Nice pool and gardens.

Found the hotel to be very well run though some spaces clearly set up for conference use were a bit impersonal. Usual expensive breakfast in a barn-like area can be avoided in favour of the very frendly small cafe next door. Quite a good pool. Lots of pavement restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel is in a great location. Center of old town. Close to many shops and restaurants. We were in room 19 in the back building. 3 sets of steps to get to our room including a set in our room to enter and 3 steps to the bathroom. It was a huge room though with king bed , sofa, chair plus desk along with fridge. Huge shower stall with seat and separate tub.

Do not get room 10, very small room & bathroom. Pipes exposed in closet.
Upgrade rooms 22 & 23 are much nicer & larger.
Natalie was wonderful in helping us upgrade to larger room.

We stayed one night and enjoyed sitting poolside, wandering through the garden and labyrinth, and shopping in the town. The Van Gogh trail was interesting an right near the hotel. Dinner at the hotels fine restaurant was pricey but fantastic!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in September. We were greeted by friendly staff, free valet parking and a clean, spacious, comfortable room. The grounds are beautiful and the location is excellent - right near the old town of St. Remy. We used St. Remy as a base to explore Provence.
Would definitely recommend this hotel!

The hotel was conveniently located in the middle of town but still very quiet with a charming patio and restaurant. Dinner was delicious. Unfortunately, I booked a Standard room which was not to our liking at all. It was way too small and not very comfortable. It could have been a much better experience had I booked a deluxe room. Also I would not recommend going there in mid-summer, it was unbearably hot and too crowded.

Excellent Stay. Exceptional reception service. Perfect location

We ended up in St. Remy de Provence because we could not get a good hotel in Avignon. Trip was too short notice. We ended up liking the stay in the smalled town, everything was within walking distance. Good restaurants and bakeries all around. The shopping is canned tourist stuff, but we didnt care about that. We used local drivers to pick us up and take us to surrounding sights and villages.

Get a room with a balcony. The views are spectacular and so peaceful. The gardens are wonderful. The room is huge by European standards and clean and the bathroom came with all of the comforts that you need. St Remy is a small village centrally located in Provence and was a short trip from all of the major sites. This hotel is a great choice for a reasonable rate.

The location of this hotel is hard to beat. It is in the immediate neighborhood of restaurants, shopping, cafes, boulangeries.... It is a huge luxurious property and very comfortable. Ample free car parking. However needed to be a bit independent in making driving plans for visiting villages in the Luberon etc as not all of the front desk staff were totally knowledgeable to the degree required to provide reasonable help....Other than that everyone was very helpful in making our stay comfortable.

If you want to stay in St Remy while basing out of Provence. This is the place to stay. I been to St Remy many times but first time to base there for my Provence stay. Perfect location at the best part of town where all restaurents are. Short walk into centre ville for shopping. My room was over the bar but very private. Pool, pool table, R & R, Private parking is so convenient. From St Remy, you need a car to visit Provence. St Remy has one of the best markets, I think Wednesdays'. The other best markets in Provence is Arles on Saturday and Il sur la Sorgue on Sundays' All three are can't misses. Its like the entire provence crowd onto these markets. Not too expansive.
