I got an upgrade to a junior suite which was great but everything is very old and dated and needsba facelift and the bathroom needs a total refurb. The matrass was extremely uncomfortable. I was alao disappointed when i wanted to hop into the pool quickly at 7:45pm i was told it was closed although at checkin i was told it was open till 8pm. All hotels in the area were fully booked and i would rather return to some more modern ones i had stayed at previously

We stayed in the hotel for 8 nights, was a lovely hotel nice big room, pool area big nice and clean comfortable sun beds, breakfast as lovely, staff where all friendly, was 10-15 mins from getting the bus and metro witch takes you into Athens lots of place to eat would definitely recommend and would definitely return.

This is a transactional hotel. As a loyal customer I am neither appreciated or acknowledged any different to a one off customer. Whilst the hotel is increasingly hired we have still returned to it out of loyalty and ease. Now we know it is a strictly transactional hotel with no loyalty in return we will take our custom to somewhere else where we feel appreciated. A very let down and disillusioned loyal customer for many years

We were there on business and particularly happy that needed no cabs for restaurants and good bars. Breakfast was excellent just needed some baked beanz. Rooms were clean staff friendly and were left to do what we wanted to without being pestered. Will definitely use hotel again.

The hotel is old and worn down. It really needs a renovation. The outside is nice, but the inside is old and kind of shabby. The breakfast is not impressive. Few choices and not very good quality. Five stars??? No way!!

Theoxenia is a Kifisia secret. It’s not only convenient to shopping and dining but also quiet and relaxing in a beautiful setting in the Athenian suburbs. I loved it!

It is a very nice hotel, spacious and elegant rooms. The only black spot is the bathroom. Unfortunately when you travel for work, a clean room, comfortable bed and very nice shower is all you want. The bathroom needs renovation, there is no proper shower but a bath tub with a plastic tent and a very weak jet of water, from the high hanging head. My sink was also leaking on the floor and they only repaired it after 2 nights. It is a pity because it remains a beautiful hotel. Hope they do something soon to keep up with the newest hotels of the area

The hotel was very nice. The rooms where clean and with a nice smell. The personnel was very kind The only minus are: - Not available parking space - Not real double bed, but two single beds next to each other - The breakfast could have been better. It was not bad, but definitely not a 5 star. - We have been to better SPAs

The main competitive advantage to this hotel is that it has an indoor pool an outdoor pool a hamam and a sauna. The room was classy housekeeping was friendly, I would highly recommend a room with a spa included. There are many things walking distance from this hotel which makes it very suitable including restaurants cafés shops and boutiques a grocery store snack shops and even high-end stores. You can also walk to the nearest train, currency exchange, you name it.

Theoxenia is a good hotel in a lovely area in Athens. Overall my stay was good but the main disappointment was the reception staff and the fact that you could not use the pool unless you paid an extra €25 per day. A rather strange idea! On the reception issue: some people were polite and welcoming, while half of them, were acting as if they were doing you a favor to speak to you. A huge kitchen fight that was overheard in the breakfast area was also distracting. So all an all, if they embrace the Hospitality concept, this hotel can be a rather good place to stay.
