I took a long time to choose a hotel for a family trip and picked Savannah House from all the great reviews. The lady at the front desk was friendly and check-in was easy. As we walked down the hall to our room, both my children asked why it smelled so bad and what the smell was. I told them it smelled like wet dog. Got to our room and it was ok but smelled bad. Sat down and turned the tv on, one of my daughters went to the bathroom and said there was mold on the ceiling. I didn't think too much of it - I don't expect perfection from a hotel room - but it wasn't long before I had a headache, one daughter was nauseous, and the other had a headache as well. Decided I should check out this mold situation. It was all over the bathroom ceiling. Because of how we felt, I went to the front desk to ask for another room. On my way I noticed a dehumidifier plugged in and running. Turns out they had serious water damage the week before from the sprinkler system going off and that's why it smelled bad and was moldy. They offered another room but since it was the entire building I said I was concerned for our health. They have a second building that was not affected and thankfully offered a room there, which I accepted. The room there was fine. I think water and mold are serious issues and they should have told people about it - that was hundreds of people sleeping in what could be an unsafe, at least unhealthy, environment.

I always love staying here. Everyone is very friendly and make you feel like you are at home. It is also very quiet, nestled on the hilltop with a pretty view of the town. The breakfast is wonderful as well and there is always plenty of it!

The Savannah House was wonderful it was clean has a wonderful breakfast and the cobbler and ice cream at night was a great bonus. The staff was very friendly and very helpful went above and beyond for us.

Savannah House is our go to place. Breakfast is probably my favorite. Plenty of fresh and delicious options. And late night ice cream and cobbler every night! It’s quiet and out of the way. Staff is friendly and property clean. Bed was great pillows not so much but I’m kinda a snob about mine which I forgot. 10/10 and is our favorite place to stay in Branson.

We came in late after a day at Silver Dollar City with our two young children. Check in was a breeze. Room was clean and comfortable. The evening desert was perfect ending to our day!

Our stay at the Savanah hotel was excellent. Everything was beautiful. One thing lacking were the lights in the gazebo did not light up at night. Would’ve loved to have gotten a picture of that. It was so beautiful!

Enjoyed our one night stay. I have stayed here once before. It’s very convenient to the Sight and Sound Theatre. Room was clean. Check in was efficient. The room had a slight musty smell but non unbearable. The free evening dessert was a plus I will probably stay here again when I attend the next Sight and Sound musical.

Outside of having bedbugs the first night and since booked with Hotel.com could not be refunded. Just offered to switch rooms. They did help me get $10 worth of coins so I didn’t have to go to the bank to use to wash all our items. Several months later still have trauma from that. They thought maybe I brought them with me from the plane since adult bugs. Small blood marks on the sheets tell me otherwise. Never seen or had that before had to goggle what the heck was going on with our skin. Threw away the pillow and blanket we had packed for my daughter. It was awful. Someone pee in the elevator one night. Lots of kids so guessing there. Staff cleaned it up. Staff said they knew several had reported it once we saw someone almost slip and they said gross it is pee. The rest of the trip was uneven minus being itchy. Food was very nice. Very close to the theater next door which we used daily for dance. View outside front door is stunning. If we hadn’t dealt with bed bugs would have loved our stay. Sadly we will not be back because of that. So much money and effort out into that issue and they did nothing to help outside of exchange dollars for coins. It was nicer then the second hotel we switched too afterwards. We had many friends staying and no bed bugs so think it was just that floor maybe since they were all on a different floor and outside of working shower issues said all said it was a lovely hotel.

I had requested a room in the main building, but upon check-in realized we were going to be put in the back building. The lady was very nice and kind and was able to change us to a room in the main building! We were so so appreciative! We have stayed here quite a few times over the years. It is beginning to look a little 'tired.' But, our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. They still have the cobblers, cookies and ice cream in the evenings which seems to be a hit with the guests. It certainly is with us! We enjoy staying at The Savannah House!

The room was small but comfortable. Easy check in. Best breakfast over many other hotels. Added bonus was cobbler and ice cream each night. And enjoyed the games in the dining room. Overall a great place. With polite employees.

Not only does this place offer a breakfast buffet that is delicious, but every night they have nightly desserts with warm cookies, cobbler, and soft serve vanilla ice cream. Our stay was wonderful, though our room was a bit stuffy though temps were close to 100. We plan to stay here again next year. Service was excellent and the pool was perfect for a night swim for our family.

This was our first time staying at this property. It was a great value with breakfast and a dessert bar in the evening. The staff was very friendly. We appreciated to be a little bit off the main drag. The outdoor pools were OK but the weather was perfect.

We love staying at The Savannah House, because the have some of the best customer service in Branson, comfy beds, and late night desserts! The only thing off this time was the A/C unit not wanting to work properly but that didn’t diminish our trip as the weather was in the low 70’s. Thank you Savannah House for hosting us again for our BestFriend Getaway!!
