My friend and I travelled from the UK to attend a concert. It was a hot day but on arrival we were told there was no water in the hotel and so no toilets either. OK, things happen and we were assured the water would be on in 30 minutes. It wasn't. After two hours we had to ask for bottled water just to try to wash and clean our teeth. We had to go to the concert without being able to wash or use a toilet. We were told we'd have a free breakfast as compensation. Not only did the water not work but the main light in the room didn't either. I reported that immediately and was informed someone would change the bulb later. They didn't. Returning from the concert I complained about the light again as it was now dark. A man stinking of smoke told me there was no-one available to repair it but he would look at it. He came to the room, tried every switch and then said that to switch the main light on you had to first switch the bedside light on? The switch for the main light is by the door as you go in. My friend's room didn't have such an anomaly. My room was for the disabled and though I have no disabilities, how anyone who did - particularly wheelchair users - could navigate that room in the dark to get around the bed to switch a light on I'll never know. There needs to be a sign to say if the light has to be switched on in a certain way. I speak French, but if I couldn't I'd have had worse problems. We did get a free breakfast but only after a 'discussion' with the receptionist

I loved my stay here and I would come back. The staff was great..... the room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Location was close enough to all of Lille.... and the breakfast was perfect!

Conveniently positioned if you're driving but less so if you're not. Plenty of spaces for parking. Rooms are rather basic but they're quiet & WiFi was great. Shower good (reasonable power and hot) & bathroom quite spacious for a budget hotel (no bath I hasten to add). Bed was comfortable & had a good night's sleep. Didn't eat in the restaurant on this occasion but the selection for both dinner and breakfast looked OK. Will use again.

This accommodation is in a lovely quiet setting . The rooms are clean, comfortable and well equipped.
We only stayed one night and did not visit restaurant but the menu looked very good. We visited the museum of modern art which is very close by and is great !
There is a supermarket and shops a short walk away.

Stayed there for a night during the Euro. The prices was over-inflated but that was the case throughout the city. It has a feel of the US motel, simple and basic but it does the job. Don't expect too much, this is a good enough hotel if you get the right price. I paid over the moon for it but it was a special circumstances. It's a good pit-stop if you are travelling, but not a place to spend too much time in.

Stayed in at Campanile as it was the only hotel I could find at short notice after getting tickets to see a Euro 2016 game at the near-by Stade Pierre Mauroy.
The room was very basis and had all the neccessary items you would expect to find in a room; but definitely was not worth the £200 for a one night stay.
Word of advice, hire a car as it's a bit of a journey away from the Eurostar station/City centre and taxi's will cost a small fortune.

Nicely located on the edge of Lille in a quiet area, so no traffic noise, this is a motel-style hotel which a first glance looks a bit threatening due to the roller-blind shutters on the bedroom windows. However once inside the rooms are standard but comfortable, with TV, hairdryer, Wi-Fi, and with spotlessly clean white bed linen.
Reception staff were brilliant, very warm, welcoming and helpful. They were sorry to be unable to supply us with a map of Lille (Lille Tourist Board please note: supplying hotels with basic information for visitors is essential). Dinner was good value, with buffet starters and desserts at a set price, plus a choice of main courses charged at two different prices, so you could effectively build your own menu. There was a Ventoux on special offer at €43.50 the bottle.
Overall we would probably stay here again because of the value/price.
