Chateau with a very good restaurant and breakfast. The accomodation is very nice and authentic.

This is a quiet chateau with simple gardens. It has rooms in the Chatteau and the Orangery. We stayed in the Orangery. The room was a fair size and quite well appointed. The bathroom had been renovated to a good modern standard. The place was efficiently run. We had an excellent meal in the 109 restaurant in the cellar. Great space and great service. Overall this was a good stopover for us.

Very nice hotel with rooms in a castle and the orangerie in parc.Beautiful breakfastroom.Excellent restaurant in the basement.

Easy to find, own car park, nice evening meal in the restaurant, good breakfast.

This place was OK, we stayed one night. It's old, obviously, and it has great historic value, it just felt a bit tired, somewhere where you put your old furniture when you don't know what to do with it. The staff where lovely, friendly and very attentive. Dinner was had outside as the sun set, the food was nice, a little forgetful. We thought of dining downstairs in the wine cellar however there was no one else there so we ate outside. Don't expect aircon etc or interior design. However as a trip back in time it was OK and as mentioned the staff were very friendly. Plenty of safe parking and relatively good value.

Amazing castle

Loved the idea of staying in an old Chateau. The public spaces are lovely but the room I was in was a bit tired and could use a little spiffing up.

Great place for an overnight stay. Lots of character in nice parkland. Meal in restaurant was excellent. Would definitely stay again

Basic building is fine old house but most rooms are not in the main house and in an old converted stable block. No elevator access to the rooms.
The breakfast is in a lovely dining room in the main house but dinner is in the cellar restaurant. Food is well executed and at a reasonable price. The surrounding area is a large public housing development although the main house overlooks a large lawn. It is not walking distance to anything you would want to visit.

We absolutely loved it here. The setting and all the furnishings are incredible

Interesting locality but set in grounds making ut a quier location. A good restaurant on site. Do not expect modern, this is shabby chic in a 19th century country house.

Main house had great character in a shabby chic way. Nice grounds. Restaurant excellent and food exceptionally good. But we were in the Orangerie, a modern building. When booking you were not told that you would not be in the chateau. Room OK but bathroom very old fashioned . Two of the three lights in the bedroom did not work .The light between the bathroom and the bedroom didi not work. There was no safe. No air conditioning.

Very nice small chateau with large rooms and an exquisite and not expensive breakfast. The village is a bit sleepy but a nice place to stop over on the way home from Le Mans

The restaurant and comfy beds.
The superior room are good but prest are better.

The hotel was friendly with a good restaurant but a bit in need of refurbishment & a lift to the upper floor

picturesque hotel and grounds, bordering the canal. staff very pleasant

Bit of a curates egg. Lovely looking building in beautiful parkland setting. Very neutral welcome. Watched us carry bags up the flights of stairs without any offer of help. Our room on second floor reasonable but nothing like the ones shown on Hotels.com website. These I think must be first floor rooms. Hotel quiet so those rooms would have been available. No bar and lounge unappealing. Did not try the restaurant on this occasion. Dogs not allowed in Chateau bedrooms but in the lounge and restaurant.

We stayed for one night as part of a trip to a commonwealth war grave nearby. I expected the Chateau to be in the countryside but you drive past houses and apartment blocks until youre almost upon it. Unfortunately we stayed on a Sunday night and the restaurant was not open, so had to venture into Cambrai. Fortunately we found a very nice pizza restaurant opposite the train station. Also, it was strange that there was no bar, although the gentleman at reception did get us a beer after our long journey. The room was large, clean and very comfortable although there were no tea and coffee making facilities. Buffet style breakfast was nice but cost extra. Overall it was a pleasant stay

Lovely room but hotel very tired and breakfast very basic

No air conditioning in room ,booked a superior room got given what was pretty much a basic room , think the photos on the web are misleading, a very warm evening with only a noisy fan to stay cool , not a good stay , although the building itself is beautiful

Staff exceptionally good.
Hotel has lots of character
Restaurant excellent.

Nice hotel in lovely grounds.

Finding the Chateau was difficult. A good sat nav is essential. We were given a very warm welcome. The weather was exceptionally cold during our stay (February) and without asking we were provided with an extra heat source in our room. The bedroom was clean and fresh. The service in the breakfast room was attentive. Dinner was excellent and well priced. It was an unusual and very pleasant experience to stay in such elegant and 'historic' accommodation.

Interesting hotel. The room was clean and warm. Had a great dinner in the restaurant.

They only problem the hotel is about 1.5 miles out of the town centre and the taxi service is nit and miss having to wait up to an hour for one to arrive. Then there is the cost 15 euros for 1.5 miles !!!!!!!! You need a car which then means you cant have a drink.....

Nice location and older beautiful chateau that looked tired. Staff put us in an outer building even though almost no guests. We would have liked to stay in main house as advertised.
Breakfast was not worth the money. Poor selection.

Slightly shabby but chic hotel set in beautiful parkland. slightly difficult to find. Very comfortable spacious and clean accommodation. Main building (the Chateau itself) very nicely restored. Had dinner in the restaurant on the first night, which was excellent, food and wine wonderful.
Used hotel as a base for the Cambrai battlefield, which was very convenient. I think the hotel is used for a lot of corporate entertaining and functions and perhaps the overnight visitor is not their primary business (i.e., no bar, there is a mini bar in the room).

We were in the Orangerie. Very simple/basic room, the minimum in terms of amenities. Big plus, very quiet place in the park. Good French breakfast.

Friendly hotel with a chateau atmosphere. Spacious room and a good breakfast. Very relaxing after touring the WW1 historical sites.

Nice Chateau and grounds. lift only goes to 1st floor so dont take heavy bags.
We were refused dinner as they had filled the restaurant with outside reservations despite our booking
No one asked us if we wanted dinner.
When we asked for a taxi to go into town for food receptionist told us it was impossible to get one so we said are to sit in our room and starve?
eventualy he booked us a taxi with very bad grace.
Wont go back!

Arrived to find room prepared but waste bin had not been emptied, still contained a nappy or sanitary towel in it - didn't look too closely!

Stayed two nights. This hotel was well located, had beautiful grounds. We did not eat there as we were out all day. It was clean and tidy, we stayed in the orangery not the main building.

Huge, light and airy room. Excellent, comfortable chairs.
Good location base for battlefield visits.

Lovely period hotel with tastefully furnished rooms. A 20 minute walk into the town centre. Stayed in the Orangerie which was very pleasant. The staff were so polite and helpful.
