AC extremely loud, thankfully I had ear plugs. Breakfast eggs I couldn’t handle. I eat a lot of eggs and the texture of these were weird. Pool was nice, no one in it which I loved. Friendly staff.

The hotel is convenient to downtown (walking), clean and friendly staff. The room was nice and the beds / pillows were pretty good. The AC unit sounded like a semi truck driving through the room. The bathroom ceiling was old and the sound of water came from the ceiling at all hours. The breakfast was so-so. Most of the food that should be served hot was luke warm and the food quality was just OK.

My stay was very good and the room comfortable. Nice sitting areas scattered throughout. Continental breakfast was good, but repetitive. Hot food was hot! The room air conditioner was powerful but very load.

I am a retired engineer and worked at a Hampton Inn as a maintenance man. They were inspected but still did not have the cleanliness and maintenance that the Meadow Brook Inn does. Everything was up to date and clean. There were a lot of amenities including swimming pool and fitness room. Their breakfast was the best I have had. Large selection in heated trays and other items that were unheated. It was better than I have had in a lot of restaurants. The grounds were also very well maintained, and the gardens were beautiful. It was also within walking distance of Main Street and all of the shops and restaurants. They also had a couple of ponds with ducks and complimentary packs of pellets to feed them. It was fun to do so.

I really liked the general ambience, the decor, the large guest rooms, the absence of noise, the breakfast, the outdoor spaces. Feeding the ducks with duck food supplied by the inn was a plus. Problem areas for me was the internet did not work well (hard to get on, and once on, it kept going out) and the only available microwave was a small one in the lobby. The indoor pool was nice, but the water was so cold that it was practically unusable. There were problems with the elevator and it could not be accessed from the first floor. The person on duty did go up and send it down to us when we arrived. On the day we left. The elevator did not work at all, but a repairman had been called.

We loved this place! Suite was great, wonderful grounds and free breakfast that changed a bit daily. Only wished they had a full restaurant and bar onsite would be my only upgrade recommendation. .

We love the Meadowbrook ! We Have stayed there many times. I do believe it is time to get new mattresses. They were not as comfortable as in the past. Hopefully that is on there list of to do.

This is a hidden gem in Blowing Rock. It was far above most of the other hotels we saw in the area. The staff was wonderful and constantly asked if we needed anything. The buffet breakfast was far above the average and they had foods labeled as to GF and Vegan for their guests. Plus welcoming ducks and free duck food to feed them. Definately a place to revisit

Very convenient to downtown Blowing Rock and within walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants. Cozy building with friendly and helpful staff. The pool and breakfast are a plus with kids. Some updates are needed to the rooms and bathrooms but overall we felt very comfortable here!

Beautiful clean property, lovely room, great indoor pool, excellent breakfast, easy walk to Main St. Our only complaint was noise; our room was right off the lobby with guests coming and going and usually stopping to chat, elevators, free coffee stand, staff having conversations at night and early morning. HVAC fan was noisy too, so that wasn’t a good option to create white noise. Next time I’ll make sure we get an upper floor or at the end of the hall.

Quiet hotel, super convenient to downtown Blowing Rock. Everything we needed was within walking distance. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was better than the average hotel—they had an apple-pancake casserole. The staff were very courteous and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

Wish I was staying more than one night! This is a great little spot and convenient to town! Great walkability, nice, large size room with bathroom products included. They had a pool and exercise room, but I was not able to use it as I did not have enough time. Breakfast was good as well! I will definitely be back!

The Meadowbrook feels like it’s isolated but surprisingly it’s only steps from downtown! If you drive the other way you are on a central road to the rest of the area. The rooms are large, fresh and lovingly renovated (bathrooms not so much but perfectly adequate). The complimentary breakfast was homemade and delicious with an excellent variety of choices - really surpassed expectations. The only negative was that our AC (Room 304) was intermittently noisy - luckily I travel with noise cancelling ear pods. We were in the corner room and not sure if all rooms had this issue. Good value for our stay.

Check in was a breeze, our room is spacious with modern furnishings. Large bathroom with ample storage. The location is walkable to shops and restaurants. We would definitely recommend this property to others.

Overall this was a lovely hotel - we got an excellent rate on a king suite and enjoyed our 3 night stay. The breakfast was great and we also enjoyed feeding the ducks in the pond with the complimentary duck food. Housekeeping freshened our room each day of our stay except Sunday; the room felt very fresh and clean.
