An incrddible beautiful old building with great history. However it is tired and very dated, tables in lounge frayed, paint coming off bedroom doors etc.
It needs refurb, The dining area is hidden behind large meter+ square plant pots, not very romantic in such a building. Dining service was aweful but food good. The receptionist guy was incredibly helpful and even went out on the street to find parking for us. We have stayed there before but will not be back …

Absolutely beautiful building. We enjoyed the ambience and swing-jazz music playing softly in the glass-ceilinged courtyard. We appreciated having two armchairs and a coffee table.
It is a shame that the housekeeping team were unable to remove or mask the unpleasant smell in our room. It seemed to come from the basin in the bathroom but permeated into the bedroom.

Beautiful hotel but very dirty carpet inside rooms

The location and hotel are both very good.
Rooms are spacious and work well, but a bit dated.
Our biggest problem was the bad air-condition + if we opened the window there was a live outdoor movie theatre outside.
Breakfast was ok, but not great.
Hotel has potential and great surroundings, but must upgrade service, air-condition and breakfast.

Amazing hotel

Good to know this place was renovated from an 700 years old church, but also because of this, it was some kind of outdated. The air conditioning was not good, couldn’t adjust and it was not cooling properly. The good thing is they offer free breakfast which has full collection of great food. Staff are nice and friendly, location is also good.

Very nice hotel in convenient location to wineries and places to eat. Great breakfast selection. Hotel car park is very sketchy, don't go alone. The air conditioning in our room was feeble but the mattress (while very comfortable) was one of the kind that make you super hot so we had to have the window open on a very noisy street.

It’s an interesting converted monastery, had an ambience which is special. All is very dated though, floor tiles falling apart, old all round. Especially difficult is poor A/C, it’s so hot all the time, everywhere, no where to escape from the heat!

Los Agustinos is a spectacular place constructed from ancient hand-hewn stone. Truly remarkable.
However, I am tired of places that rely on charm and are short on service. Sullen management can barely be bothered to respond until forced to. Attitude flows down to front desk staff. Cleaning staff/young femail wait staff do their best, kitchen mgt and male staff, not so much. They get by on the beauty of the place, not their effort.

Beautiful historical property in a great location. Close to city center and very walkable. We had an amazing dinner at the hotel restaurant. A must!
2.5
The staff was unusually helpful and courteous.

Housekeeping needs improvement and supervision- I found close to the TV 2 pillowcases that supposedly was dirty from the previous guests.

Great location in the unique quiet town of Haro

Oh my, where to start.
A beautiful building filled with tired mismatched faux leather 1970’s furniture.
Looks like they have been to house clearance auctions.
Bathrooms clean but very tired
Whole building is stiflingly hot, even though it was 15 outside. Aircon made a loud clunking noise every 10 mins.
Breakfast was the poorest offering I’ve ever seen, really grim. We went to the hotel opposite which had a nice bar and restaurant instead.
Avoid!!

Beautiful hotel in an old building. Elegant yet with modern amenities. Location is in the heart of old Haro within easy walking distance to the popular sites.

Firstly, the building is beau and have a great potential, but too many issues to solve.
On check in I asked for the training room which is listed in the app, they just said that “no it’s wrong, we don’t have” even if I said this was the reason I chose the hotel, no effort was made to either arrange or make up for the miss.
The key is so huge you need to bring a jacket with a big pocket or a bag to carry it around?
4-star hotel pretending to be a respectable chain must be able to get key cards in 2024?
Breakfast worst I have seen in Spain ever, any level, no 2 stars here even. Two managers or something that clearly did not want to work physically and another person who refilled buffet, however 14 dirty empty tables and not one clean available upon arrival. Tables were made up on the go when guest arrived and everyone ate in a dirty messy environment around them. Not busy, three other tables eating at same time as me.
Selections terrible, hardly any bread, some tired ham, little fruit, that’s it. Never seems this?
I’m used to nice spread once I go 4-star.
If I would not have pre-booked I would have walked out of it, now I had a plate of ham, some juice and a coffee. Disaster.
Environment as the building etc is nice, but upkeep cheap. One color carpet in room that was due to change 2-3 years back in some more used area like the entrance?
Sorry but this does not cut it at all.

Old monastery converted to hotel. Classic property and large rooms.

Breakfast was the best. It is an older hotel that needs a lot of improvements.

Overall this was a beautiful property but needs work on the humid and musty smell in the rooms as well as the air conditioners in the rooms. I guess since it was cold only hot air was blowing. Left windows open in the evenings which also helped with the stench.
The staff was very nice. Fernando, the bartender, was outstanding as was the lady keeping up with breakfast.

Great place. The staff was unbelievably helpful. Very convenient to everything.

Beautiful and great location. Our first night at the hotel, we dined at the hotel restaurant… Magnificent! The food service decor was impeccable. They also offered a nice selection of wines from the local region.

With the exception of the initial bump when the room I had been assigned smelled like cigarette smoke (someone had been smoking there) and I was transferred to a smaller, but clean air room, I had a GREAT stay, as always!

Great place … nice helpful staff … rooms a little sparse but that’s ok .. clean . Building itself is a historical monument really interesting! Resturant was great … dinner & breakfast enjoyable !
Great service, good food !!

The room was extremely dated and tired. We found crisps on the bathroom floor and mould in the bath. The room/bathroom absolutely stunk of sewage. The air conditioning was somewhat temperamental. Mini bar was leaking too. We sacrificed a night to stay somewhere, I think that says it all…
On a positive note, the food at the restaurant was delicious.

This is a beautifully converted convent in the old part of Haro just a block from the main square where there are many wonderful dining options. We loved our large room and the comfortable bed. We highly recommend Los Agustinos!

It is an amazing Staff and Hotel.
Food is excellent

As I made the reservation the hotel said I'll have a big bed as it was the last night of our honey moon. We got to the room and it was two separate small beds, we ask if they could give us the room we payed for and they said they had ran out.
We picked our things up and were going to go to a hotel that could accommodate us on our honey moon, only then did the hotel "magically" have a room with a big bed available.

The hotel is lovely, although the hotel room itself a bit too dark for my taste. There was also not much ventilation in the rooms.
The breakfast was very nice, and the staff very helpful with accomodating allergies. One downside though was that the hotel restaurant and bar was closed in the weekdays and only open during the weekend.

Excelente en todo.

Great hotel in the historic district of Haro. Only minor issue was the wifi kept dropping. But the place is gorgeous and historic and full of history.

Fantastic historic building in the heart of Haro. Furnishings a bit dated, but location and charm make up for it.
1.5
Stayed here previously but now it’s in badly need of updating rooms- smelt musty and looked tired Restaurant only open weekends-why? It is a 4 star hotel Unfortunately the beautiful courtyard area was off limits presumably because of Covid (this is the main reason to stay here) Good breakfast We will not be returning Overall very disappointed
