Service is awesome, the people are so nice. The Arenal volcano views are spectacular and fell in love right the lush rainforest from patio. Didn’t get a chance to experience SPA. The gift shop view is also awesome.

We enjoyed very much the resort, the view of the volcano was spectacular! The staff were all friendly and helpful. For sure rent a car in La fortuna because transportation is expensive. Enjoyed the tours, many fun activities to do!

Really enjoyed our experience at this hotel. You feel like you are staying in the rainforest but with a clean and modern room and a great restaurant on site. Lots of wildlife on the property, volcano views from the balcony. Service, wifi, pools were all great as well. Was our favourite hotel from our trip where we stayed at 3 different places. Short drive to activities nearby as well. Not much walkable though so you'd benefit from having your own car if you stay here.

The property was absolutely fantastic. Our room had an amazing view of Mt. Arenal and was well worth the expense. All the employees were extremely helpful whether we needed information, directions or recommendations. We would undoubtedly stay there again when we travel back to Costa Rica.

What a gorgeous property! There is a warm pool and regular pool with a swim up bar. Everything is surrounded by lush, beautiful rain forest. We saw so many different critters. Food was good and easily available if we didn't feel like driving back into La Fortuna. Would definitely stay there again.

Every room has view of Arenal Volcano. The evening we arrived our balcony looked out upon an incredible rain forest, we had no idea until the next morning and the clouds parted and there was the volcano. The staff pick you up for meals or the pool in a golf cart. This hotel was the highlight of our trip.

This place is heaven! We had beautiful views of Arenal from our balcony and saw so many animals around the property. Everything is stunning. The heated pool is a big plus, as well as the nature trail which we took every day. The hotel is very close to Mistico hanging bridges. Although a bit far from La Fortuna, it’s absolutely worth staying in this peaceful escape.

Absolutely breathtaking property. Right in the middle of the rainforest. Very secluded resort, although it is literally next door to the Mistico hanging bridges. But other restaurants and towns are a 20 min drive. Warm pool was perfect. Food was great. Hiking trails were very nice.

The grounds are beautiful with a hiking trail. There’s a hot pool, hot water for showers, a/c, and staff was super friendly. The breakfast could have been better but it was just okay. The dinner options are good and the food was great. Excellent place to stay near La Fortuna

This resort was beautiful, and had a great view of the volcano as well as proximity to the hot springs & national park. My only cons are the bugs in the actual room itself (which is understandable), and how pricey the services are for laundry.

This was ana amazing place to stay. The property and surrounding area is magnificently beautiful, containing stunning landscape and trails. The breakfast was excellent and the service fantastic. Our air conditioner stopped working on the second day and they had it serviced and running within an hour. I would highly recommend this place.

This resort is fully in the rainforest and has an access to a trail you can hike anytime. You can see a large variety of birds right from your room balcony as well as have a chance to encounter other wildlife on the trail, like sloths and sometimes monkeys. The staff is friendly and willing to help and the rooms are very accommodating. The food is outstanding and the restaurant serves delicious steaks and meals throughout the day. The pools are small but during my stay there were only few people at the pool at a given time, so it wasn’t an issue. The Spa and treatment was very good too, you can spend as much time as you need to relax at the spa and it also has a sauna to help relax even more. Everything is close by and convenient. I absolutely loved my sat 5/5 stars for me!

Lost Iguana was a true gem! We felt like we were living in the rain forest but with all the great amenities at our fingertips…Great pool/jacuzzi and pool bar, nice restaurant, wonderful spa (I had an amazing 90 minute massage!), easy parking, close to activities (Ziplining, hanging bridges, Tabacon thermal hot springs, Arenal Volcano tours, etc), and wonderful staff. Despite the fact that the air conditioning went out on the last night (in all rooms not just ours) due to a crazy severe rainstorm, I am still giving Lost Iguana 5 stars! I highly recommend this lovely resort if visiting the Arenal area in Costa Rica.

To sum it up in word: WOW! Lost Iguana did not disappoint. We were incredibly satisfied with our stay and thoroughly enjoyed every minute we were at the property. We had a volcano side room with a private balcony and the view was simply amazing - what a way to drink your morning coffee and enjoy the sounds. Each and every staff member we encountered was kind and incredibly helpful. I was sad to leave this special place and look forward to the opportunity to visit again.

Family friendly resort which allowed our teenagers to spend time by themselves at the pool and meet other kids. The resort employees were very kind and attentive. The staff will pick you up in golf carts to bring you to the restaurant/pool area.

This place is truly a gem in the wild with all the amenities of a high end resort but located deep into the rainforest. We loved the hot and cold pool, the bar area and the spa was amazing and calm. The front desk was very efficient in booking all of our excursions off property and we were pleased with the promptness and pleasant drivers each time. At no time did we have to worry about anything.

My room did not have power for the duration of my stay. So was with out A/C when it was so hot and humid and we did not sleep the entire night. The resort did not compensate me in any way. Very bad experience.

Property was wonderful. But on the last day, we didnt have electricity for the whole night. Pitch dark and raining heavily. Didnt have the alternative power source for the rooms. Had a snake in the room and couldnt communicate with the front desk. Wish atleast intercoms are made usable at that time. It was a challenging experience on that night. Hope property can address this security gap.
