Staff can be a little cold but always professional. Rooms need a little TLC, maintenance appears to be reasonable but not as tight as it could be, wallpaper beginning to peel and moisture damage on the bottom of doors. All in all, good breakfast, comfortable, clean and great location... cafes, restaurants and shops all around you.

Nice hotel in an excellent location but the walls were very thin and we were woken up early by other guests.

My room was first floor on the street and it was Fri and everyone was very loud outside of my room. Finally at 11 I went down to desk they gave me key to room next door not on street and I moved and could finally sleep. Reqeusted some sort of discount in the morning was asked to give my email address no response. So therefore a poor review for and expensive $185 nite

A remodeled, antique hotel with modern decor and amenities. The staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. We arrived early and they stowed our luggage away in a backroom until check in time and we hit the old town shopping, wine sipping and snacking. It's located within walking distance to the marina and the center of town. The complimentary breakfast was beautifully displayed with local pastries, toast, yogurt, fresh fruit, granola, formaggi and salumi with coffee American style. The only thing lacking was the air-conditioning. I can handle the heat and slept well on the comfortable twin bed.

Was very close to the train station, making catching a ride back to the airport a breeze. Was very clean and had decent breakfast.

Excellent location for our overnight airport stay and seeing Cagliari in a few hours. Very helpful reception staff, cool and comfortable room. Lovely roof top terrace with bar and breakfast. Highly recommended!

Great one night stay at hotel Italia

Good location. Very close to port & train station. Front desk not welcoming at all. It’s like a self service. We travel a lot and they give lots of info when check in. They had a map for ppl to take but unless you ask they don’t tell anything .
No kettle /tea/cups in room. Not sound proof rooms. Breakfast was ok . No communication at all once you booked. I sent so many emails for early check in fees no reply at all.

Great location to everything including the train from the airport. Breakfast is on the roof terrace, simple but yummy.

I like the location of this hotel. It’s close to landmarks, shops and restaurants. It has a friendly, cosmopolitan vibe.

We stayed in a spacious room with no carpet. It was very clean and comfortable and we had all the little products that hotels can offer to make our lives easier, from the obvious shampoos and soaps to some quite handy shoe shining brushes. Soft and perfumed towels and sheets, replaced everyday, made our stay even better.

Good nights sleep and wonderful breakfast on a beautiful terrace the next morning. Professional, friendly and helpful staff.

This was my first stay in the area and the hotel was a fine choice. The staff were friendly, more than helpful, and the place was comfortable. In addition, the breakfast service was excellent. I highly recommend this establishment.

Staff was helpful and friendly, went above and beyond. Room was perfectly cleaned everyday. Breakfast on rooftop area was great. No issues other than not being able to stay longer!

This is a classic Italian hotel. 24-hour front desk (that holds your room key), nice lobby, large well-appointed room with a really nice bathroom, great breakfast buffet on the top floor (with a rooftop terrace). Short walk to the central train station (and then a short train ride to the airport). Dozens of excellent Sardinian restaurants within a few blocks. A similar hotel would cost five times as much in NYC!

An almost perfect stay, save for the unrelenting noise of the ventilator through the night, prepare a pair of ear plugs is recommended

Big clean room, could do with a kettle in the room, otherwise it was good. Ideal location within walking distance of restaurants and coffee shops

Easy access from train station. Simple, clean room. Excellent breakfast with very friendly staff. Only stayed one night but would definitely stay again! Great value for solo travel.

Well located hotel near central train station, lots of restaurants nearby. Our only complaint is we searched for a hotel with the filter of hotel parking and they do not provide - even though it says they do. We had to pay for street parking.

Very well situated in the old town and ideal for exploring.
Dark, rather cramped bedroom, and limited facilities in the hotel. Not overly friendly.

We stayed three nights in Hotel Italia and thoroughly enjoyed the service and talking with the staff. Our room was clean and very comfortable and we enjoyed the buffet breakfast. As we were travelling by train and bus it was great to stay at hotel in the centre close to the waterfront. We returned to Hotel Italia at the end of our travels in Sardinia for one night before heading home to Canada.

The hotel is nice but could do with some modernising. The furniture is ancient! Breakfast was great and the staff are so friendly and helpful

Hotel with excellent locations in the city center 5 minutes from railway station. Lots of bars and restaurants around. Room is comfy with quiet air conditioner. Only breakfast is little disappointing.
