Lovely, clean hotel and very good location; busstop for busses to the beach only 100m away as well a small supermarket. Personnel very helpfull and pleasent. Bed comfortable and room and bathroom very clean and tidy. A short and easy walk from Grosseto traon station. Location nice to wonder around Grosseto old town.

Cannot ask for anything more. The owner and staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. This was a week trip and it was the best value for all of the hotels on our trip. If in the area again we would stay stay here.

Loved the fact it was still in mint condition, staff was excellent and hotel in the center of all restaurants and attractions. Easy to commute weather on foot or public transportation. Will definitely stay again if ever in Grosseto.

Reception was friendly and very welcoming. We were upgraded (free) from a budget room to a standard one which was a nice touch and very much appreciated. The hotel decor is dated, but it’s clean and it’s location is central - very close to the Duomo. The room had air conditioning and there was a tiny terrace on the 4th floor with 2 plastic tables & chairs, disappointingly this had no view and seemed to be used only by smokers. It seems a shame that they haven’t inserted a window or two from which to admire the view and opened a small cafe/bar up there!

This hotel is in a superb location just steps from centro and inside the city wall but steps to outside shops and restaurants. The hotel is in extremely good condition

Reception sftaff were delightful and so helpful. Roberta who manages the breakfast is so sweet and hard working. She really cares to make everything perfect. He smile is worth the visit.

I stay at the Grand Bastiani Hotel every time I visit Grosseto. The hotel is centrally located whithin the city's medieval wall. It is steps to bars and restaurants and very close to the historic church. The train station is also nearby. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

Great location in the centre of the square but our room was right above garbage cans which they picked up very early and was VERY loud. Did not have a good sleep. But if we had a different room I'm sure it would have been much better. Also not good wifi but all in all, clean, nice staff, play stay.

The interior was outdated and the hotel felt old, not in a good way. I was surprised when we got there and by the look of the room and the facilities. It says they have a roof terrace but that was the smallest thing I've ever seen. The hotel was very quiet, it didn't seem like anyone else was living there. Except late at night when someone was having a party in the rooms next door. The breakfast staff was great though, and the breakfast itself was ok.

Lovely hotel, very clean, friendly staff. Like stepping back to a time gone by. Hotel could be from an Agatha Christie 'film set' in a lovely way. We would love to return. The town and the hotel are recommended to all but hope only a few read this so both remain unspoilt

It was a great, non-touristy location and we enjoyed exploring the local area. The weather had just turned hot and the air conditioning wasnt working so sleeping was uncomfortable.

Reasonable prices hotel, dated, hard bed and pillows. No AC in hotel, it might be seasonable. Well spread breakfast, friendly attentive staff. No much in neighborhood.

Nicely situated within walking distance of train and bus stations, close to bars, restaurants and shops. Can be quite noisy in the evening though. Nice large bathroom + bath! Good air-conditioning and a comfy bed. Electrical plugs were pretty useless though and the wi-fi was shoddy too.

Nice place. Room interiors are starting to get a little dated. Had planned to use this hotel as a base to visit other areas in Tuscany, but at the end of our long trip we just ventured out locally. Nice little town.
