Was informed that reception closed at 1830. We were due to arrive at 1900 so they agreed to stay open.
Was informed on arrival that the bar would only be open from around 1915 until 2000. Was a little surprised to find that the hotel/Spa has no dining facilities and the nearest place to eat is around 15 mins drive away.
Our room was basic but would have benefited from new carpets or at least a clean as they were very stained and looked very worn.
The other surprise was finding that the WC was not in the bathroom as expected but behind the sliding mirror door on one side of the wardrobe.
This was by far the most expensive hotel we stayed at on our recent tour and we did not consider it to be very good value for money.

A wonderful haven, just 15mins drive from the St Malo port. Gorgeous pool, comfortable beds. So pleased we found it!

This hotel is beautiful and it’s rural location only 15 mins from the port of St Malo is tranquil and relaxing. The grounds were very well kept & the roses on the drive were exquisite . Isabelle on reception was very friendly & welcoming & made us & our 2 children feel very much at home.
We stayed in a cottage which was very clean & well appointed. It would have been nice to have had some complementary coffee/tea provided by the hotel in the cottage as breakfast was not until 0845 and we arrived late without any provisions and had to leave before 0845. There was one small bottle of water provided by the hotel however as we paid in excess of £200 for the night the lack of complementary coffee/tea & water felt rather mean.
The beds were very comfortable however the one hard pillow provided per bed didn’t really do it for us and 2 pillows per bed would have been more fitting for a hotel like this.
Good restaurants 1km away and the swimming pool was lovely and warm.

Great pool - our comfort cottage was a good size at more than 42 sq metres - so good space for eating and relaxing.
Really enjoyed the peace of the heated pool which was almost completely empty all the time - so great for our daughters to play while we had the pick of the sunbeds to sit and read.
Really easy drive into Saint Malo or further to the beaches at Dinard or the abbey at Mont St Michel (if it is hot do take the free shuttle as it is a long walk with very little share).

Great stay, lovely location, friendly and helpful staff.

We had a wonderful stay and were very happy to have two bedrooms and a kitchen since we were traveling with our young boys ages 5 and 7. The pool was heated which is a rarity in France, there was mini golf (which kept my boys entertained) and tennis courts. The area is a very short drive out of St Malo which we preferred to get out of the busy city and relax in the countryside. The grocery store was a two minute drive away and it was easy to access in and out. I would highly recommend for people who don’t want to stay in busy St Malo. My only dislike was that we asked for two extra pillows which they didn’t provide because they said they had no extras.

we had a lovely stay at this hotel just one thing could do with improvement was the bathroom it was a wet room and the floor got very wet right up to the door into the bedroom

This hotel is way overpriced for what you get. The rooms are extremely small including the bathroom. The breakfast is very expensive. We didn't eat until later, and it looked like the food had not been refreshed. The bread was stale and hard. There was a hair on one of the eggs which completely turned us off. One night there was no hot water and the wifi went down for hours. Two kids woke us up playing outside our room at 6 am. We were very disappointed in our stay.

Lovely, old French farmhouse turned into a small hotel in the peaceful countryside! We stayed here two nights in the chateaubriand room overlooking the pool on the 1st floor. The room was comfortable enough for us, but I think it would get too hot if temps got above 25c. No fan or AC. Kept the windows open all night but woken up early one day because of a rooster.
The pool was quite nice too, and the roses around the hotel smelled wonderful. The hotel's location is perfect to explore the St. Malo and Cancale area as long as you have a car.

The only downside was the price of drinks and breakfast. France is expensive anyway but it made it a little more pricey than we’d planned.

What an amazing place, just loved it.

Extremely helpful staff . Spotless room and facilities. You have to visit nearby Saint-Suliac

Fantasic site, room a little too small, thought I was getting a larger room. Food was good, although a little over priced, also thought I was getting breakfast included!!

We only stayed here for one night and it was just right. Staff was super friendly, the place is well kept and very clean. It's outside St. Malo, 15 minutes from the ferry port, so it was ideal. Easy parking.
I thought breakfast price was a little steep for what it was but other than that it was a nice lovely place.

Beautiful house, good location, very quiet at night. The front desk person was very friendly. Good choice of items for breakfast.

The night before, for the same price, we stayed in a beautiful Chateau that was part of the same hotel group near Riberac. we expected the same standard in this hotel. On arrival I was dismayed because first question was what time are you going tomorrow (answer 7.30) because breakfast starts at 8.30!! Also can you settle your account now as nobody will be there at 7.30 and we leave at 7pm this evening. At that point I realised there would be no staff on site after that time. As it turnied out we were the only guests there that night.
When we got to our room we were disappointed to see the room was a double not a twin! I had asked for a twin as i was traveling with my 17 year old daughter. The lady said they had no twins and must have been a mix up at booking. She said she would see what she could do. We never saw her again. Despite there being other rooms free we were not offered another solution, all the receptionist said was "I hope your dad does not snore!"
We went for a meal in St Malo and when we got back to the empty hotel we set on separating the bed (it was possible if you unzipped the velcroe holding the base and mattress together, and then shared a double sheet each to make two beds by sharing the bed linen.
The room was small not entirely clean and the whole experience a real let down for the last night of our holiday.

We chose this hotel for convenience as we needed to catch an early ferry to U.K. and wanted suitable parking. We would have been happier had there been food available when we arrived shortly before 9p.m. Very pretty garden/pool area and spa facilities. Would have expected a bath robe in bedroom, better quality blanket and more than one pillow each, for the price charged. Possibly would suit young couples wanting to chill out and use the facilities available.
