Outstanding stay with all amenities. Parking garage was hard to find and so was the reception lobby.

Upon arrival at parking garage we we greeted, both men very great. One offered us a tour of the hotel, which I advise everyone to take. He was very friendly and did an exceptional job. We were early and went to town for lunch. Check in is at 4:30 and we arrived back at 3:45. We went to the concierge’s desk to see if our room was ready and we’re informed checkin wasn’t till 4:30. I found her very condescending and rude. My son went back to the garage to see if he could get the kids swimsuit. He ran into the gentleman who had given us the tour and asked if he could get in our luggage. He told him our luggage was in our room and it was ready. He took him to our room and found the cleaning person sitting on the couch and telling them the room was not ready, seriously! In the meantime, as I am in the lobby by the concierge’s desk, other people are getting their rooms. At 4:31 I get a text on my phone our room is ready. I was sitting within earshot yet a text instead of “Mrs Lanning, your room is ready”.

We loved our condo. The view of the mountains and village below were spectacular! We will definitely be back!

Room was very nice. Communications, happy hour were great but no a/c was a little painful. Car ride was awesome!

Our unit was far inferior to the usual Fairmont standard. Furnishings were shabby and very dated, and there was black mold in our shower. I won't stay at a Fairmont again - apparently I can't rely on their reputation to give me a good travel experience.

Loved the area. Room had a hair in bathtub otherwise eating been hiring. Some asteroid in hallway needed repair, like wood corner trim. The game room was a great addition for those with kids. Valet crew was great and eager to help. I know they work on tips but it never felt like that was their goal. They were learning your name even if your stay was short. Would recommend and stay again. Pretty expensive to see some of the older pieces in hallway, and room not updated but I get it. JH

Best valets ever. Water flow was poor from all faucets. Couch was uncomfortable. All the staff were super nice.

Great location and had own ski valet. Room was good size. Daily housekeeping great. Toilets could use an upgrade to stronger flushing. Enjoyed free hot tea and coffee at the lobby. Limited equipment at the on-site rental.

The Franz Klammer lodge was super clean with an on-site concierge to help with anything you could want. The fall colors were spectacular!!

Great location, and great amenities-truly a great hotel!

We received an upgrade to a 3B/3B residence vs a 2B/2B. Very nice upgrade as we had 7 in our property. The unit was a handicap accessible residence which we did not need but it was very close to the pool and spa which was great!
Only thing I did not like is a patron of the hotel was looking around at facilities and walked through the iron gate to our room. We had the door open for ventilation. He immediately apologized but I would suggest that signs be added to the gates saying "private residence".

Another wonderful trip to Telluride and the Franz Klammer Lodge. Accommodations are perfect with large bedrooms, beautiful bathrooms and a well stocked kitchen.

Beautiful surroundings, gorgeous accommodations. Couldn’t have asked for more!

We have stayed at this lodge for the last couple of years during the fall season while the Cars and Colors show. The lodge in itself as well as the staff have always been great. Will continue to return each year.

Perfect location. Good pool and hot tubs. Fantastic customer service. Well appointed kitchen. Small lumpy pillows but we asked for more and received them quickly. All in all, good quality for the cost of the place.

Spent a weekend with another family. The location was prime. Room was spacious and staff was great. The view was almost perfect except the construction going on downstairs. But other than that it was great

I was overall happy with my stay at the Fairmont FKL, with one very important exception (listed under cons below).
Pros: Close to the gondola, has a nice spa and decent gym. Mostly friendly staff. Spacious rooms. Okay level of cleanliness.
Cons: Rooms do NOT look like they do in the hotel photos, they are dated and in need of a renovation. Rooms also have no AC which was almost unbearable during hot summer days. The worst con of them all is, however, that I was contacted after my stay because I had not paid a 10 dollar (!) fee for a yoga class I took the same day I checked out of the hotel. I mistakenly thought the hotel had my credit card for incidentals so I just asked them to charge it to that card. A few weeks later I get an email saying that they have been trying to contact me to pay the 10 (yes 10) dollars for a communal yoga class that is offered everyday regardless of how many participants there are. In other words, the yoga teacher would have had to be paid irrespective of whether I had attended the class or not.I wrote back saying that of course we will pay the 10 dollars but I find it appalling that they would hound me over 10 dollars when I paid OVER 2500 dollars for a four night stay. Despite the overall decent experience, this left a bitter taste and I will not be staying at a Fairmont again.

Mountain village resort so prepare yourself. There’s no AC. So you have to keep the drapes closed all day to keep the heat out and then open drapes and windows at night. Horrible. It was 76 in the room until about 1am then it colder down. I wanted to see the Mountain View’s in the day and NOT into all the neighbors villas at night!!! Everyone had to be super quite and watch devices with headphones because all the windows were open. Then it was warm during the day and dark. Location was perfect right near gondola. Our villa was spacious and gorgeous. Parking super easy and convenient to the room. Staff was friendly and polite. Our king bed was two smaller beds pushed together which was very comfortable but very odd. Telluride is beautiful and the resort is in the middle of everything. Fabulous stay with well appointed villa.

The resort was lovely. At first it was a bit difficult to contact the front desk because the resort is seasonal but then they were very helpful. I wish there was room service, but the staff was kind enough to run to the store for groceries as I was in between meetings. Very comfortable with high end finishes. Recommended.

From the moment you drive into the parking garage to check-in you’re greeted by a friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Throughout our four nights in our two bedroom apt the staff were always there to help with any requests.
The apt was clean and had everything anyone would need for a one night stay or a several week stay. Everything! Since we booked thru the hotel or a third party thru the hotel we received daily cleaning service. Awesome!!
Can’t say enough good things about our stay and would recommend this apt hotel to anyone.

Had a terrific time in Telluride!! Loved our stay at the Fairmont !!! Everything was perfect!!

Lodge and staff were simply amazing. The Lodge is situated in the village with everything within walking distance. The gondola is but a stones throw from the lodge and a quick ride into the town of Telluride.

This is an excellent luxury hotel with very attentive staff and great service. It is located in the center of the Mountain Village with good access to the free gondola to town. We had lovely views of the mountains. We also enjoyed excellent service at the in-house spa. There is only one drawback for summer stays-- there is no air conditioning and the rooms don't have good air circulation. So even though it was cool outside, it got too warm for some of us in our rooms at night, even with the windows open. They offer room unit air conditioners, but these are noisy. So summer stays depend on your tolerance for sleeping a little warm.

Right in the middle of Mountain Village, Telluride, CO, the Franz Klammer has it all for vacationers. The various offerings from oxygen treatments to heated swimming pool and hot tub to full exercise gym are all available to its guests. Since it is not a hotel, there is no restaurant in the complex. However there are a few in the village with an array of them downtown via the gondola. The units are well designed and extremely comfortable. Everything is supplied.....even the coffee! Don't hesitate to stay....reserve now!

First time in Telluride, and it couldn't have gone more perfectly. Please note, I am not one to dump blanket praise. I am known to be pretty tough. Now, the Franz Klammer....stayed in room 403 and it is a spacious 2 full bedrooms (king size beds) and full baths (giant jacuzzi tubs, double sinks, the whole bit). Gas fireplace, 3 TVs with Direct TV and DVD players...small kitchen but fully stocked and equipped with top line appliances (Refrig/Freezer, dishwasher, micowave, cooktop and oven). I even baked a Pumpking pie for my birthday daughter!
The only complaint I have is that to get from outside to upstairs you have to take two elevators (or take the stairs and then cross over to the "floor" elevator. A very small inconvenience, but an inconvenience nonetheless).
Staff is very nice and accommodating. They even made a reservation for us at a great Italian rest in Town (Rustico).
Perfectly located and just great! Feel free to ask me questions. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again...a no-brainer!

Phenomenal experience. Top notch accommodations and staff. Would absolutely stay here again if visiting Telluride.

Still the best place in Mountain Village. The rooms and service are over the top.

Outstanding facility with an extremely attentive staff. Great location and access to the gondola which transports you in to Telluride in under 8 minutes.
Will definetely return to this location.
