Outside of the city of fBuenos Aires is this gem. If the location is good for you, we were in for a family event, this is a quiet hotel with lots of character and an excellent staff.

The staff was extremely attentive and beyond excellent. Unfortunately, our villa tucked in the back needed a little more love. The rooms smelled like mold; this is understandable for it being an old building. The lampshades and curtains were stained and dirty. This was disappointing in a five star hotel. The grounds and other buildings such as the breakfast room, book room, and main sitting area were absolutely beautiful. The location of the hotel was very convenient, being close to both train stations and restaurants. The entire staff was lovely and treated us like family.

We were looking for a 'classic' boutique style hotel experience, not a brand name or contemporary hotel to visit family in the area. We found it here. Stayed 5 nights with for a family of three. From the exceptionally friendly check-in to the included morning breakfast and the central location in San Isidro. We will definitely choose Hotel del Casco again for our next trip to BA.

Frederico and Fernando along with all of the other staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was enjoyable! The hote is one of a kind and highly recommend it.

Very nice property amazing breakfast and nice to relax . Well located. I didn't get 20% off food and drinks from the VIP offer .
Tried to have lunch but they told us there was. 40min wait and they recommend us the bar around the corner.

This property is a real gem in San Isidro. Often used for local events such as weddings. Staff is courteous and helpful. The rooms are charming and the courtyard and garden lovely. Breakfast was nicely done with fresh fruit, vegetables, eggs on demand, yoghurt .. very plentiful. Unfortunately no oatmeal available for my gluten free and health conscious wife, but there were other choices for her. Altogether a terrific 5 star and relaxing experience

I lovely treasure in San Isidro close to the cathedral. The rooms were elegant with plenty of space. The service in the hotel was first class with all the staff being friendly and ever so helpful. A lovely 2-day stay! We will certainly return in the future. Thank you

A beautiful historic property with interesting and unique antique furnishings. Gorgeous gardens that were in full bloom during our stay.
Very helpful, welcoming and friendly staff.

You charged me two times the rate. You sold the nigh in pesos argentinos and charged my credit card in dollars. Its is fraud. You say you are selling the cheaper rate in the market and because of money exchange issue, I ended paying two times the standard rate, this is totally insane. Besides you charged my credit card and the hotel did too. Double time crazy what has happened to me. Worst service ever. You charged me because of the exchange rate 52,000 pesos instead of 22,000 as it was previously stipulated.
I called to claim and the operator did nothing but laughing.
I will share this to all the social media.

Beautiful colonial hotel, great area close to the shops and public transportation. Rooms are super big and comfortable, and the place has great common areas and pool. The only bit you need to take care is to make sure that your room is far away from the Cathedral, since they do bells a]every one hour and with jet lag is not a great combination!

Its a classic beautiful old boutique hotel. It feels great to be in a place from a different time. I loved the garden area for my morning coffee.

Great hotel; just the house is noisy because it’s too close to the street

This is now one of my favorite hotels in Buenos Aires. The building itself is a treasure and together with the gardens the hotel is a relaxing paradise - located in a quiet and beautiful area. Fernando at the front desk was warm, helpful and very kind.

Great place in an historical environment. A former summer residence of the nobility , it has conserved its charms of former centuries. With its plants, the water (pool) and the rooms with paintings and furniture of the old days this is unique and charming place. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms offer both a modern shower and a bath tub.

We really loved this hotel and will definitely come back!
It is located across the San Isidro Cathedral on Libertador Avenue with lots of restaurants, coffeshops, and ice-cream (gelato style) shops nearby. Walking distance to San Isidro main streets full of shopping opportunities,
It is complicated to park in this area but you can park on premises.
What we loved the most was the hotel atmosphere since it is build in an old mansion whose architecture has been preserved.
Great service, great breakfast. We already miss this place.

We were impressed with the excellent location. Walking distance to Hipodromo - races. We were there for Auto Classica - antique carshow. Also lots of restaurants closeby, and museums, old church a few steps away. Markets on weekend 2 min. walk.Fabulous service and large rooms with comfortable king sized beds & chandeliers. Had a great stay. Breakfast was also good. Very very elegant decor.

The hotel is charming even if some of the furniture has seen better days, not so much antiques as a bit old, particularly the chairs in the room and the couches on the common areas. The staff was very helpful and accommodating and trying to anticipate your needs. My main issue was the lack of a working table as I was in the area on business, also an iron and ironing board would be welcome. I was provided with a hair drier on request that unfortunately left me with wet hair on a cold morning. It is a quaint place if you are in the area on vacation but not the greatest of options for business. Unfortunately the options in the area are o pretty slim.

The staff is amazing!!! They will do anything for you. With only about 20 rooms they are at your service night and day. Not too much to do around the area and dead at night unless you walk a little or cab it, but definitely worth stopping in this place if you just want to relax! I wasnt there for work, but would have been an excellent work place to stay as well because they have a common ground you can sit on and work and very peaceful.

Great hotel - old boutique style with an old building but very quaint. Good for pleasure or business. Showers could be a bit better but understandable given the age of the building. Fabulous breakfast and the most accommodating and polite staff who will look after your every need. Highly recommended. Would go back

Beautiful boutique hotel. I use a walker. There are several steps to get into the hotel but with help I was able to get in. Once inside, everything was accessible, including our main floor bedroom and bathroom. Staff was wonderful, breakfast delicious served in their beautiful glass room in the garden.

This is a really old building transformed into an hotel. I have to say that I have seen better remodeling, bringing facilities to the 21st century but this is not the case.
Where they really out stand is in the service department. Absolutely all of them are totally oriented to provide the best experience possible and go beyond your expectations. Thanks everyone for a pleasant stay, specially Agustin for your kind help.
