OK hotel for short stay.
Nice staff.
Unfortunately the fitness center was one bike, one thread and one climber. That's it...

Lovely breakfast, comfy firm beds. Its Ibis you know what you get!

Everything was fine, friendly staff, rooms were clean. A little bit too small, but ok. Breakfast was good, beach nearby.

Helpful staff. Convenient.

The hotel staff were excellent. The chef on Thursday night cooked a wonderful entrecote meal, along with a plate of cheese for the 5 cyclists from England.
First class service

Hotel was clean and the breakfast very good. However, on arrival we were told we should have booked parking. We parked on the road - which was free as we were there on a Friday night - but the booking requirement is still a mystery (I've checked the hotels.com advert - no mention of pre-booking)

Hotel was in a great central position. Looks like they are undertaking renovations currently. Has its own underground car park. Staff were great. Restaurant food was good and service excellent in the restaurant.

This hotel is fairly central between downtown and the beach. It is within 2 blocks of the port. There were not many restaurants opened during the May 1st holiday. The breakfast buffet is great - fresh and a lot to choose from. The bedding was clean and the room small but enough for one person. My room was on the street and I had no noise the 2 nights I was there. Staff was friendly and not pushy. I would stay here again.

Very comfortable, clean rooms and excellent breakfast. Convenient location, safe and walking distance from the centre

Young man at check-in was pretty unhelpful and dismissive, seemed he was nearing the end of his shift and couldn’t be bothered any more. The night shift and receptionist in the morning however were very helpful, particularly in the morning going out of her way to make my mother a decaf coffee herself and tell her not to hesitate to ask if she wanted another!
Better parking information before arrival would be useful. Unsure if the hotel car park is free or not, as when we arrived at 8pm it was full. Parking on the surrounding streets is mostly free, but a couple have a parking meter (contrary to ‘all the street parking is free’ which is what we were told by the unhelpful young man).
Breakfast was good value with a wide selection, and replenished regularly.
Bedrooms were ok, a bit tired and worn, but clean. Bed was comfortable and linen was fresh and good quality.

Great hotel and location.

Decent sized room. Clean. OK bed. Nice shower / bathroom. Free on street parking outside hotel on Saturday was a big bonus. But it was noisy and incredibly hot which made it difficult to sleep. No aircon, just a window. We opened the window and a pigeon tried to get in the room and even when we had it outside the room and had closed the window the bird stayed outside on the window sill for ages.Funny, but not what we needed during a heatwave.

It was a very clean, decent hotel located not too far to walk to the main square. TV only had French channels but hey, its France, right!! We didn't have breakfast so cannot comment. It was a bit of a walk from the reception desk to our room though so if you have mobility issues, request a room that isn't so far away. Parking on the street was easy and available just across the road.

Very helpful staff, good continental breakfast and easy walking distance to the beach front.

The room and the hallways are quite worn down. The duvet inside the cover was very dirty and kept falling out by the top of the duvet cover because there was a hole meant for changing it. Friendly staff and nice lobby.

I was expecting much more. On the arrival I found a vomit in front of the elevator door, parking is on the street and shower didn’t work properly. The only good thing is that it is pet friendly.

My 14-year old son and I stayed here as we explored nearby museums and it was awesome! Great rooms. Our room was large and the hotel sits next to the bus line. It is about 20 minutes walk from the train center and 20 minutes walk to the Dunkirk museum. This is a fun area of town to walk around. We didnt get a chance to try many local restaurants but we did use the onsite restaurant and that was quite good.

Great location, 5 minutes walk into the town centre or 10 minutes walk onto the beaches, lovely staff only down side no drinks in the rooms, eg water tea or coffee.

Arrived late in the evening but able to get a pizza and a beer at the restaurant which was good. Not the greatest pizza ever but also far from the worst. The room was stiflingly hot and on a main road so opening the windows meant noise but a bit cooler conditions. Poor nights sleep as a result. Shower was good and room was clean. Location was really good.

Passable for the one night. Room basic but fine with overriding damp smell in corridors. Having secure overnight parking was a real bonus.

Property needs to but updated. Very basic. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. Very basic and a bit shabby. Would not recommend. Meal quality in restaurant also need improving

The hotel and everything of the building was just fine. When we arrived with our 2 motorcycles we had to pay for a parking spot €10. No problem. When we checked in everything went lovely. After we dropped our bags in the room we went to the bar. And this was weird... the girl who checked us in was drinking beer and laughing loud with another old guy. We were sitting on the bar very awkward... The old guy even went behind the bar to get some more beer in his glass. Also the girl went behind the bar with normal clothes several times to get something. Looks very unprofessional and I’m sure the general manager will not appreciate this towards their guest.

Good location for walking to city centre restaurants and sights.

The hotel is everything which we have come to expect from Ibis, having stayed at several. My only complaint is that when we booked it online, it stated that there was free parking. When we arrived, there was no on-street parking to be had near the hotel and so I was asked a further 10 Euro for parking. It should be made more clear in the hotels information for visitors that LIMITED parking is available freely on-street, but there is a charge for garage parking. We have a nice evening meal in the restaurant and the breakfast was fine.

But despite the headline friendly, helpful staff and its all a fair price. Theyd have to spend a lot to improve it and for one night its fine as it is.

Just all we required close to restaurants and wine 🍷 and food 🍴 festival which was purpose of our trip

Arrived at 10.30pm hotel sign not lit up,therefore,it was hard to find.Hotel receptionist patronising and awkward. No access to the free carpark that was advertised.I had to park my car on the street. No free wifi in the room.Hotel corridors to the room smelt.Room itself was clean and tidy and served the purpose of a bed for the night.Hotel is in a rundown part of Dunkirk - 10 min walk to the centre of Dunkirk.Won't be recommending this hotel or visiting an Ibis abroad again.

Nice hotel near to rester ants and near the harbour

Small room with big bed, bathroom more than adequate. Very good value for money. Only complaint- a noisy disco that went on well past 3.30 in the morning, but not the fault of the hotel.
1.0
Friendly and helpful staff; good location for both town centre and beach; good breakfast; lively bar (on the Saturday night we were there anyway); free street parking; nice clean room with a good shower. Couldn't ask for more for the price - would stay there again.
