Was in the city for two days and decided to go with this hotel because of the location. Great customer service and nice rooms for an even better price.

AC didn’t work, couldn’t sleep because of how hot it was, toilet barely flushed, there was no shampoo only body lotion in the room.

We were disappointed that we were not given the accommodation we requested at booking 3 months prior to our stay. Other than that the hotel stay was great. The room was immaculate. The housekeeper, Carmen, was phenomenal. The breakfast included in the stay was delicious and the breakfast staff was wonderful. The bellmen were also very pleasant to work with. Overall it was a wonderful stay.

Nice hotel in downtown. Perfect location.

Excellent historic building. Be aware the rooms closer to the lobby will get a lot of noise from the restaurant/club downstairs. Didn't bother us too much. Breakfast was solid, friendly service and professional. Its on the corner of the main plaza in the city, lots of great walking and food options all around.

The building structure was very nice. Parking was a little bit away from the main building ( expect to walk). Breakfast options are very limited. Plenty of mosquitos, take your repellent.

Bonito hotel
1.0 / 10.0
Pros: Reasonable price, excellent and convenient location. Cons: Has air conditioning but it doesn't work. Power outlets scant and far away from the bedside. No USB outlets. The shower door opens toward the faucets. You have to wait inside the shower and wait for the hot water to come, which takes about 3 to 5 minutes. The shower water gets outside into the bathroom floor. Instead of placing a door barrier, they placed a drain on the floor under the sink. No iron and no iron board. To get the iron you have to pick it up yourself at the reception. No parking on the premises. The parking place is down the street. If you do not submit the parking ticket to the reception within 30 after parking you get charged for a 24 hour rate, which means, you have to get back to the hotel after parking. The breakfast buffet is very precarious and with limited choices. No breakfast menu. Half of the reception personnel is not friendly. This hotel used to be the landmark of luxury 40 years. It is now just a historical building with beds and nice plants.

The hotel is right at the corner of the city center. It’s right across from Catedral. I always try to stay in older buildings to keep the structure of what it look like back in its glory. The hotel lobby is beautiful. No one can go upstairs to the rooms because you need to use your key to access the elevators and the staircases. The rooms were quieter than I expected. You can hear some of the street noise and some of the noise from the restaurant downstairs. In the morning, the child running down the hallway, screaming I’m assuming because he was not getting his way. Other than that, it was great.
To any of the tourist attractions. There’s great restaurants all around, So feel free to venture out.

The property is very centrally located. The only inconvenience was the amount of eco noise we would get from the lobby conversation. We could hear the conversation as if it was right outside our door. We stayed in room 216.
