Good location just off the motorway. Needed a fridge to store some medication and contacted the hotel in advance. They arrange for one to be placed in the room for me. Excellent customer service. Had dinner in the hotel. Good quality food and service but thought 20% service charge was a bit steep.

I've stayed here several times, and it is a gorgeous hotel and, beautifully designed but, the service and attention to detail is seriously lacking. The first room I was given - the heating/air con and the USB sockets by the bed didn't work, The second room - the heating/air con worked, but the USB sockets didn't - I checked in the car and with my portable charger that it wasn't my cables. My room was partially serviced the 1st day, and not serviced at all the 2nd day. I had to phone to ask for it to be done - which the Housekeeping Manager rectified and handled brilliantly. The food is good, but the soup was the same flavour reheated soup for the 3 nights in a row that I was there, which given the price of it, was disappointing. Every time I have stayed here, the staff have been nice, but their attention to detail is missing. They don't have a personal touch at all. It's little things, but it all makes a difference.

Staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help us both on arrival at the hotel and when celebrating my wife’s birthday in the restaurant. The waiting staff especially were wonderful. The room itself definitely felt premium based on the quality of furniture and fittings, though breakfast being an extra £19pp per day was a little steep. Otherwise, it the cost felt appropriate for the quality of room and food served in the restaurant. Only minor gripe is that there was no information pack or leaflet in the room with things like a room service menu or how to use the air on and Sky Pin. Might just have been unlucky that they had ran out when prepping the room.

The hotel is lovely, a modern take on traditional styling. The food was amazing and the choices good, with some interesting dishes. My room was good but what would have been even better is if the housekeeping took time to notice areas needing attention; my cups weren't clean, I had to ask for conditioner at the desk, even though my colleague had some in her room, I used the shower cap and left it on the side - it was removed during cleaning and another one not left, so I struggled to shower without getting my hair wet. It's always the little things!

Hotel reception staff very unwelcoming, the whole vibe of the hotel and people within in is that you owe them something for being able to stay there. Rooms are a good size with everything you need, however not very clean, we found black mould scattered across the shower / bathroom area, and a spider nest which was surrounded by cobwebs that looked like they’d been there a while… The hotel was also rooming for a party over the weekend so during the stay people were within the corridors shouting / slamming doors until the early hours. Staff we not helpful one bit after raising concerns to them and I couldn’t wait to go home. Won’t be using Dakota again.

Lovely hotel. Lovely staff. It was an accessible room so was missing some things like places to put our suitcases. The room was also very cold - despite trying to use the air con to heat it up. The beds were really comfy and the linen great. I really loved my stay - despite the cold and the lack of suitcase carriers.

Facility was OK. It sits in an industrial park type of setting. It’s clean, it’s safe has good parking. It is pretty well situated in between Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Great choice for predictable hotel with good vibe and delicious food in restaurant. A few disappointments: our bed was only a full-size so small for 2 people; there isn’t a mini fridge in the rooms; and the room doesn’t have a water heater, just a nespresso machine that wasn’t working.

A one night stay but was really please with the hotel. Very new and spotless. Good size room, good shower room - toiletries Molton Brown. Large TV on the wall, biscuits provided with tea/coffee/chocolate facilities and free water. Couldn't ask for more.

when we arrived we were given a disabled room, upon being in this room we found bugs in our bed. we complained and asked for another room to which they were saying they would just deep clean our rom, although they had no cleaners in since it was 7pm so would have just been casual workers cleaning it. we said no and asked for another room to be told there was no other standard rooms but if we were happy to change room one night we could have a upgraded room for the 3 nights we were happy with this, until the staff member failed to say there would be a charge and not just a small one, she said they usual rate would be 250 but could reduce it to 150 which is rediculous. as we should not have to pay extra to not have a room with no bugs in it. upon saying we were not going to pay any extra they magically found another room the same as ours, when entering this room we noticed there was dark hairs all over the bed in this room. which is disgusting. as they should be checked thourghly by cleaners aswell as every side board as they were all dusty and must not of been cleaned for a long time. we did not once get offered any kind of compensation or apology.

We have visited the Dakota Eurocentral several times and always enjoyed all aspects of the stay... On this occasion it was a little disappointing that, for example things that have in our opinion made Dakota Eurocentral stand out...they made the best Old Fashioned we have ever had, but now suddenly they have changed the ingredients and made it very average... The shower in the room wasn't working... Just little things that tarnish your visit.

I’ve stayed in this hotel before and it is definitely worth it. However this time after checking in, we noticed clothes from the last guests who stayed there still in the room. That did make you think if the room was cleaned properly before check in but once we called reception they came and removed the clothes and apologised. The rest of the stay was great!

The hotel offers a 5 star comfort in their rooms...we were really impressed. Staff are really friendly and provided a very good customer service. Didnt sample any food but comprehensive drink menu slightly more priced, as expected in hotels. Only let down is the location with limited transport options. Uber doesnt come here and thus you rely on local taxi company who is overpriced. Nevertheless this didnt put us off and would gladly come back to stay here again! Great hotel.

Great hotel, comfortable and spacious room with modern decor. Food is excellent if a little pricey. Staff are pleasant and very helpful. Not much to do around the hotel though so need to drive if you want to try a different restaurant for example.

The hotel is good, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The down side is the very high cost of food and drinks and then a sneaky added 10% service charge at the end on the food and drinks bill.

We had a warm welcome, very polite staff and the room was very clean and comfortable. We did have to pay an extra £50 on arrival but was given the option to use credit or debit card. This was refunded as we left and took 48 hours to refund (not bad considering it was a weekend stay) the staff at the hotel (Motherwell) were lovely and I'd definitely return if we are out that way again

We've stayed in this hotel before. The customer service is always excellent. We had visits in Edinburgh and Glasgow so this was the perfect location. We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is fabulous, the restaurant is amazing. We enjoyed a lovely meal, the cocktails are amazing and our breakfasts were delicious. We'd definitely stay again.
