Way too many mosquitoes in the room. After we ran out of bug spray my daughter got 9 mosquitoes bites and she is allergic to insect bites. The house cleaning was loud and brawling in the morning. Every morning! Good thing I wasn’t a light sleeper. Good was good. Pool and beaches were awesome.

We love every moment. The property is Beautiful and the service was truly amazing. Every employee we came in touch with was the nicest person ever and seems genuinely interested in us. A special thanks to Ms. Tenisha in Guest Service/Concierge. She made our stay memorable. Thank you everyone. One Love

The bed had bed bugs, as I had so many bites on my legs when I woke up that are different than mosquito bites.

On arrival the room we were given was the worst location of a room i have ever been given it was back and beyond of the hotel, the view was dark as the balcony looked out onto the roots of trees. They did however change the room giving us a little more sunlight. All the rooms are very dated and in need of refurbishment the tv was small and not positioned on the wall which i think should be standard these days. They also seemed to have done a lot of patch up work in the rooms, using white filler everywhere and not done neatly 😳🙈. The staff were very friendly and would not walk past you without acknowledgement. This is very large hotel that could do with a larger team to ensure all bases are covered. The Entertainment was very poor they need a more vibrant team who engage more with guest, it could be a lack of resources from management.
The food was a cooked a presented well however as the days went on the choices seemed to decrease and the energy from the service team got little flat.
Would i go back to this hotel, i would certainly consider it especially if they made improvement to the rooms. Overall i did enjoy my short stay but I am a stickler for perfection

At the grill, ketchup and mustard were in wide open containers exposed to the elements. Straws are not served with beverages (terrible). How am i supposed to enjoy my frozen beverages. Burgers are cooked with high open flame for approximately 60 seconds on each side, burning the outside and leaving inside uncooked. Car park is bushy with unleveled terrain and far (workout)

When I first checked in my room wasn’t ready. The young lady at the front desk provided us with another room which was horrible. It didn’t have a good smell, bathroom and drapes were dirty. I felt like checking out instantly. However, I was directed to contact someone at the front desk. I met a lovely, friendly, kind and compassionate young lady Miss Cardell. She heard my concerns and made sure all my needs was met. Miss Cardell thanks for your warm hospitality and always following up to make sure we was ok.

I loved the resort itself but the roaches are an issue for me as they were alot of them in the dinning room. Round Island restaurant in the resort needs a deep clean and roach spray.

The room was great. The hotel staff was abundant and always accommodating and readily available to assist in anything we required from additional towels in the room and booking tours to printing boarding documents for our return flight home. The bed was made, and our room was cleaned every day. The staff at the Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica was outstanding in making certain every aspect of our stay was pleasurable. The staff at the restaurants went above and beyond in preparing food to accommodate nutritional, dietary and allergic conditions our group required. A special "Thank-You" needs to be given to the Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica staff members Amoy Black, Nadralee, Treshana from the concierge's desk and Jarome who attended bar just outside the main lobby who remembered all within our groups preferred drink (alcoholic as well as non-alcoholic) and personally made and brought our drinks to us when we physically were unable to retrieve them for ourselves. My wife and I have stayed at other Bahia Principe Resorts and have booked multiple rooms to accommodate all in which we vacationed with. My wife and I choose to return once again to the Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica, this time with an older group. Upon arrival we knew immediately we had made the right choice. Bottom line, whether traveling with children and grandchildren or traveling within our group of seniors the Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica is an outstanding hotel and an outstanding value.

Do not except customer service like all inclusive at other Caribbean islands.

The rooms need to be serviced better. Air conditions were a bother. Make sure guests are not placed in rooms with a noise hazard. The staff were great.

Love the Bahia. It was our second time there. The staff is amazing. Always kind and go out of there way to meet your needs. To name a few of their best employees, Treshana, Paula, Richardo, Juan P. And many more. Thank you for a wonderful time. We will back! Perfect resort for the kids. They enjoyed themselves at the waterpark. The place was clean and safe for all.

Staff was friendly and helpful for such a large property we felt taken care of. Only diwn side, alarms went off at 5:45am with smoke in hallway and no announcement or staff to tell us it was not an actual fire but mosquito fumigation we had no clue as to protocols where to gather that was scary. Overall very nice vacation.

Property was okay . The staff was friendly and nice big shout out to Jamaican Kevin heart I think he was the highlight of my trip you’ll find him during entertainment time at the luxury side . As according to the room. Sheets we were given was dirty I did remeber a specific stain that was on the sheets even after room service came and made the beds the next day I still saw the same stain . So I don’t think they change the seats for you they just remake the bed . Pillow cases were dirty some towels and stains on them. And unfortunately during my stay I did get bit by bedbugs . Taught they were mosquito bites until the bites became intensively itchy and the bumps were very raised . My bites all came in 3s down my legs and arms . Good thing I only had two days here.

My family and myself stay in separate rooms in which both had roaches crawling around the floor and walls. There was mold in the bathroom and the food wasn’t always appeasing. The staff were not nice. Every staff seemed annoyed and overwhelmed. Our key cards on numerous occasions did not work and forced us back to the front desk for assistance in getting new ones. The overall experience was horrible and my family and myself both agreed to never stay at Bahia principe grand ever again.

This is our third time there and it just seems like the service went down hill. Not many smiles on the faces of the workers there especially in the buffet restaurants. Often when we went to the buffet we would not get a waiter until we were almost done with our food.. Which there is no other way to get water unless it’s from a waiter I was told when I asked someone at the bar section can I have a water for my kid they said wait for your waiter they will be around. Which due to the fact you can only get a couple of reservations for restaurant's you’re forced to eat at the buffet The pool didn’t really look that clean it was very cloudy and off colored compared to all the other pools around the resort which made it really stick out. You’ll see two pools next to each other very merky and cloudy then the next three pools crystal clear and it was like that the whole time.

No one answers phone, mess up reservations, moldy room, puts charges on wrong rooms, delivers requested items to wrong rooms repeatedly, water leaks everywhere in bathroom, says they made groupd reservation for father's birthday dinner but didnt, and that is just a few of the the issues I had.
I ended up paying 1200 CAD more for a room that was not needed because no one here answers phones
Even had expedia call after talking in person to a manager that says someone is always there to answer the phone and expedia said they called many times and no one answered.
Do not come here, it is not worth the money and headache.

our visit was august 2024. we have mixed feelings the location was beautiful it was 20 min from dunns river and dolphin cove. which was important for us.
transportation was easy. we felt the hotel was not great at communication. we had no idea there was evening entertainment specifically for children until 9pm until 852 pm on our last night and they said it was too late for our girls to participate as they had to prepare for the 9pm show for the rest of the guests.
staff begged for tips, i found a roach in the food, we asked for bottle water on day 2 and they said we get more water every other day.
8 days was definitely enough, there is lots to do at a cost which we were prepared for. however we did discover the village which they do not advertise associated w the hotel. if you go meet w jay who really made a wonderful impression on our family. he has two stores it is the first store in left of square and the last store on right of the square

We did not get the room that we had booked and the supervisor made no effort to resolve the issue. The rooms were dated, with very dim lighting, the phones in the room did not work, maintainace did not fix them when they arrived. The bathroom was extremely outdated, and the tub was stained and old.

Worst resort experience of all times. I will never go back there. Dirty, unclean, unhygienic, everything that is bad applies to this place.
My son's first and he wanted to leave ASAP. I regretted having to go to this place.

I did not get the room I had booked and even though the hotel was not fully booked; the staff made no effort to resolve the issue. There was no Wi-Fi connection or cable service on the Tv and even after calling maintenance it was not resolved and we spent the duration of the stay unable to use the TV. The bathroom located close to the restaurants that were being renovated had no electricity and, because of multiple renovations on the property, there was only one main dining option, which had lines for breakfast and dinner. Drinks were watered down and flavourless. Not what I had expected, an overall disappointment.

This is not a five star resort. Don’t spend your money here if you think this will be a five star resort. For tbe price they charged me I could find something better
