Pure tranquility with outstanding, friendly service staff. The villas and the grounds are pictuesque and very inviting. We had a wonderful stay and did not want to leave.

This by far was one of the best places I have ever stayed. The ambiance was so chill and the service was top notch. The hotel itself is like a picture from am architecture magazine. Every detail to perfection. I can’t say enough about the staff and manager - just over the top helpful and kind. And I loved the location on the Island - just perfect. You can walk downtown but far enough away from the bar scene. My husband and I are so grateful for our time there. Perfect in every way.

Stay here every time we go to Holbox. Amazing food, amazing staff, and wonderful accommodations.

Amazing!!! Everyone goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need, be it recommendations to local spots, breakfast in bed or just a bottle of water. We celebrated my wife’s birthday and they could have not made it more special with a private set up on the beach, do not miss the tasting menu if you are staying here! Only negative is the construction but understand renovations need to take place at sometime.

Our stay at CasaSandra was marvelous!! We didn't want to leave! The people and service are wonderful! Best hotel in Holbox! Dreamy property and beaches! They really went above and beyond for us in every thing we may have needed! Can't wait to return!

Had a magical vacation thanks to CasaSandra. The food, room, yoga, as well as beach/pool were incredible. I would highly recommend the whale shark tour organized by hotel, not so much the three island tour (I found it boring). Also request your golf cart taxi to/from ferry terminal in advance. Thanks for a beautiful holiday! Note the wifi/internet is terrible on the island, so download any content before arriving.

Best private Beach of Holbox and one of the best restaurants

Although the rooms are a bit dated, but very well kept and cleaned daily. The location is great, however where the hotel really shines is the beautiful beach setup and the best service we had anywhere in Mexico.

The staff at this hotel is extremely attentive, polite, and ever helpful. I was very impressed. The accommodations and property are beautiful, definitely one of the top hotels on Holbox. The only drawback I would note is that the beach has a considerable amount of kelp that washes up, that does not get cleaned out. It creates a funny odor.

Wonderful hotel

The reason I chose Casa Sandra is because it was one of the original hotels on the island. The location of the hotel is quiet and an eight minute walk to the city center. The beach area was clean and there was plenty of lounging chairs and beds for all guests of the hotel. The staff was very attentive. They enjoyed getting to know their guests, assisting them with tours and informing guests of other amenities offered ( free bike rentals and yoga). The food was also delicious. Do not be afraid to try different things. Their mixed ceviche on their lunch menu was out of this world. Dinner was also delish. Chef Roberto Solis does an amazing job curating the menu. The rooms are well appointed and spacious.There are approx. 18 rooms. I stayed in room 16, garden suit on the second floor. Water pressure was great, the bed was comfy and there was plenty of storage and sitting places. The beach area was clean and was by far the best beach set up of any of the hotels.

As I light up my Montecristo Cigar and ready to depart on ferry back to Yucatán Peninsula I feel relax and full of joy after spending three incredible days in a treasure Island called Holbox , my stay in a Gem boutique hotel called Casasandra Hotel was one of my most memorable short escapes from work and routine daily challenges , it is hard to believe that are places like this anymore , no cars and just streets full of Coral white sand all over , once you arrive at the hotel driven on a four wheel taxi it felt like time stopped and you are into another century that you do not tv, internet or any modern tech dependence , take your shoes out and put your swim suit because that is all you will need , feel the sea breeze across the main lobby full of beds and man made sombrillas to lay back and savor peaceful thoughts that will clean your spirit , enjoy a local artisan beer pescador and forget about your problems or stressful routine . Enjoy life in the so called paradise , @ dinner I had lobster risotto while enjoying first class Italian concerto music sang by the tenors dress in smoking , imagine small lights hanging from the trees and tables on the sand around delightful night by the beach with your own live private concert of two voices singing out loud classical music , or does not get any better than this , people walking by or using the normal transpiration on the island , bicycles were clapping after each song , what an incredible Moment that makes it inolvidable

CasaSandra Boutique Hotel was beautiful and the staff were lovely. A few things to note -- the WiFi service was terrible; the food was mediocre, and the hotel only provides complimentary bottles of water upon check in.

I planned a surprise trip for my husband and was highly disappointed with the results. First, Casa Sandra charges double the price when compared to hotels in the area that provide similar service and quality of rooms. To charge what they charge, Casa Sandra needs an upgrade in its room facilities - which does not even have a phone - showers dont operate properly, our refrigerator was broken throughout our stay. To talk to reception or order room service, you need to walk all the way to the reception because there are no phones. Out of the 4 times we asked for water, or food or a bucket of ice, our order was forgotten by the kitchen. The website seems decent but the quality of hotel does not match what the website offers. The website def. presents the hotel and its room for more than what they actually are.

Definitely the best hotel option in Holbox. Service was very good , food was incredible and rooms and location were also perfect . 100% satisfied .. if we go back to Holbox in the future I will return to this hotel for sure.

Very nice hotel! The localization in the island is perfect. We just had a problem with a credit card payment .. hope it will be fixed.

An example where his expectations were exceeded. Hope it remains a secret getaway. If possible, take the plane from Cancun to Hotbox as it provided breathtaking scenery and was worth it. The staff were genuinely friendly and accommodating. Entire property was spotless. Holbox is a nice town that comes alive at night with numerous good restaurants and clubs. Very casual so leave your Madison Ave stuff at home!
