This is a lovely, historic motor inn. The property is very nicely maintained. Our room was clean, beds and pillows were very comfortable, bath towels were fluffy and soft. The managers were helpful, friendly, and responded quickly to requests. Easy walk to many worthwhile eateries (Fish101!), grocery, and the not-to-be-missed Leucadia Donut Shoppe. This is a gem and a lovely place to stay. Be sure to check out the history of Encinitas book available in the motel office - interesting stories!

Loved the location of this vintage cottage type accommodations. Beaches all around, plenty of shops, restaurants available. Room was nice, but small. A little dated but updates have been done. Staff were very helpful. When I needed beach towels and chairs, they were provided. I would stay again.

Love staying here. Please keep in mind that you have to be very courteous here. Don’t come here acting a fool. The hotel does not tolerate it and neither do us who stay here. The staff here is very nice.

We loved the 1920s style, yet it's been updated very well without losing the charm. Our unit was very clean and the kitchenette very well equipped. Very cool, walkable location with restaurants, shops, and a store nearby.

Love this property! Lodging close to beaches, restaurants, local produce and local retail too. We’ve stayed here regularly over 5 years and always have a comfortable stay at Leucadia Beach Inn. Cute kitchenette with dishes, microwave, fridge and free parking. The folks here go extra mile to make sure you’re happy too.

We love staying here. Mark is the best manager..Perfect kitchenette rooms. Very safe property. Walking distance to best unique restaurants and a market. Magic mattress and bedding. Train passes by once in a while, lovely.

Our trip was originally for 2 but my son came with us at the last minute. The room we had reserved was very roomy and we were able to get a cot for a small charge. We are very thankful for that as we didn't want to change hotels. We used to live in Leucadia and we were excited to spend some time doing the things we used to do. The staff was wonderful and so welcoming. We look forward to staying there again.

Pleasantly surprised by this little gem. Clean and cute. Had all the amenities needed for a stay near the beach at an amazing price point. Easy walk to market and restaurants. Parking is a little tight, although you can also park on the street. Front desk staff was super friendly and FANTASTIC customer service!

This is one of the most fantastic finds we have ever made. This was our second year staying here and it was still one of the most relaxing, comfortable stays we've experienced. Very clean room, happy friendly staff, and close to stores and restaurants (we walked to them all). Parking can be a bit dicey, but this will be our place to stay in the future.
