After booking, I read some worryingly negative reviews. We stayed in a superior room on the 5th Floor with balcony & sea view, which was very pleasant. Reviews concerned cleanliness, lack of WiFi & hot water. We found none of these issues. WiFi was good all over the hotel, shower/sink water always hot & room cleaned daily. There was a strong/weird smell of cleaning products in the room on the day we arrived but this seemed to dissipate. The decor was a bit old-fashioned but not unclean nor unpleasant. Bed comfortable & bedding fresh. Room was quite small & the shower, toilet & sink were ensuite. Not much storage space. Shower looked as if it had been recently tiled & no sign of mould (as reported by other reviewers). There was attractive pink tiling on the bathroom floor. The sliding shower door was rickety & the seal torn but workable if you closed it firmly. Hotel breakfasts were good with plenty of cold foods, plus bacon & egg. We only attempted to use the hotel dining room for an evening meal once. Apparently needed to pre-book but we preferred local restaurants anyway. Lifts were slow & prone to break down. A lot of elderly people use the hotel which didn't make for a lively atmosphere around the pool, which is used by few people. Bar frequently empty. Gardens pretty & well kept. Staff were friendly, particularly Beatrice, on reception. Overall, functional & a good place to stay if you have a car to access other towns/beaches. Easy to reach Rome by train which was a plus.

Nothing worked

The room was adequate. The balcony was a nice size. I wish it had a safe. The neighborhood was noisy on a Friday night. The workers at the service desk were friendly and helpful. The loaction is convenient. Parking can be a hassle, especially on a summer weekend.

Advertise free parking no parking. Room smelled terrible a/c didn’t work. Bed was old and uncomfortable

If you have to go to Ladispoli get away of this Hotel. This hotel have not air conditioning in several rooms. They tells you that will send a technician to solve the issue and it is not true.
If you check previous reviews you will realize that this problems is coming since three or four month ago.
When you ask to change the room, the say that it is a general problem and they don't have any new room for you.
When you ask for a refund or discount they say literally no.
All pictures posted are fake. This hotel has not sea view and the rooms are completely different.
Rooms are too old and are a disaster, you notice lack maintenance.
I am adding a photo of the actual bathroom to show you the reality and not what they are posting online.
At the end, this is the worst hotel I ever been in my life.

I'd strongly suggest a "Superior" room, as those are the only ones with air conditioning, and you'll probably want that. It's clean and safe, and the staff speak "hotel English", i.e., most standard questions they can handle. We wanted information on bus tickets to Ceterveri, and this had to be managed in Italian, which I'd expected, but none of them had ever used that bus and had no idea where exactly to get tickets. We eventually found out, and to their credit, they asked us afterwards and noted down the answer for future reference. Mostly the hotel was really nice, except*** NO ELEVATOR past the 4th floor yet...** and warning, the hotel is frequented by LARGE tour groups which descend upon the breakfast en masse, so try to be there when it starts. But the food is pretty good and there are some really nice restaurants nearby along the Lungomare. When you book in advance on Expedia, your charges will be exactly as spelled out on the website, only the exchange rate will vary.

Perfect for one night before watching a cruise out of Civitavecchia. Close to the train station.

Hotel says they have parking but it is not true, you have to find parking on the street. good luck with that.
I was traveling with family members last week(4/23/23).
I booked 3 rooms in total. room #403, the toilet had "stuff" in it, if you know what I mean, I seriously doubt that room had been cleaned at all.
room #511, had no toilet paper, i had to give my TP roll to them.
room #507 smelled funny.
AC did not work in all 3 rooms.
stay at your own risk.

Beautiful area. I would like to move there.

They advertise a pool, a restaurant, beach access (you have to walk a mile) and air conditioning. The pool and restaurant are out of service until further notice, the room I had had dirt on the walls and ceiling. The bathroom was at least clean. No air conditioning. They did move me to a room with a ceiling fan that helped. Overall it was aweful and I ended up leaving three days early.

Service was great everyone were very helpful, but it was difficult to sleep due to the heat in the room.

The hotel was quite nice and they allow dogs to stay for an extra fee. They have a garden outside and a pool, and they serve a nice breakfast in the morning. A great place to stay if you have pets

The staff were unfriendly and not helpful
The hotel was expensive for the facilities, no value
The hotel had bus loads of children who were excessively noisy and caused us to have to leave the pool area

Stayed 5 days after attending a wedding close by, we had 4 rooms booked & standard varied between them in terms of size & decor. Good showers & very comfortable bed, rooms cleaned daily & air conditioning added to overall comfort. Pool area small but never crowded so plenty sunbeds available hotel located very close to beach & great location for shops ,restaurants and train station. Our biggest criticism of this hotel is the breakfast , quality & selection of food very poor , breakfast runs from 7.30-9.30 but nothing replenished once it runs out & by 9am choice is very limited also waiters seem to be hovering to clear away remaining food by 9.30. Stayed in 3 other hotels during our trip to Italy & great breakfasts served in all these hotels so definitely room for improvement in Villa Marguerite .

Basic hotel, but was left a bit disappointed: the staff was not friendly, the room was ok but without air condition or wi-fi not really in the 2010´s. The swimming pool ok but small. Breakfast basic. The garden inside the hotel was nice. The surroundings were ok: small city with active life in the evening, some nice restaurants and the beaches were nice.

The hotel was very nice. It is very near to the beach and the sea. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, multiple choises. The staff was helpful and nice. The hotel also has a little swimmingpool! Ladispoli is quite a small place, so the weather has to be nice to spend time in the beach. We also visited a village called Cerveteri near by, to see some cool katacombs, a good place to visit. The train gets you to Rome in less than an hour, so its easy to spend days there too.

Nice motel near beach. Town is close to airport for a good last night in Italy
