Was fine

Great location, right on the beach but for the price paid - it is very overpriced. The balcony was very dirty, unusable. The shower was very dirty and outdated as well. The complementary breakfast was low quality as well. Was not worth the price paid at all.

The property is beautiful and in a wonderful location. On arrival our first night it was late, so we did not shower. The next morning while going to get a shower we noticed it had not been cleaned. We asked the lady at the front desk to have room service take care of that while we were out for the day and upon arrival back to our room late that evening as well it was still not done. I needed this room for a bed and bathroom. Half of which I had to feel as if i compromised my personal health in using a restroom and shower that had obviously not been cleaned. The other half of which also made questionable since the bathroom was not cleaned.

Broken mini blinds (was told we could not changerooms), couch had a bent leg causing it to be uneven, sewer leak in parking garage. Several other issues

The room was clean and comfortable for our brief stay. Great location. The breakfast was great with many options to choose from.

It was a great stay! Loved the 3rd floor view & the balcony was my fav part!

Check-in was suppose to be at 4pm; however, we were unable to check-in until almost 5pm because the room was not yet cleaned. Reception kept telling me to check back in 10 minutes.
The sheets did not fit the bed and kept coming off during the night bunching up beneath us.
The room was very small, not worth what we paid.
Only saw one friendly employee that had a smile on his face during our stay.
Breakfast was nice - good variety and hot food hot and cold food cold.

They didn’t refund my money and manager not calling me . Not recommended this shirt hotel to anyone

Small, comfy hotel situated in front of a wonderful restaurant with delicious food (think crab and shrimp pizza and crab soup) and a beach view. You can have a bite then walk it off with a nice stroll on the beach or ride your bike....path right out front. Head to town in the evening for another walk, great shopping and more great food

We had a very nice stay It was a little understaffed, But the people that were there did their best to help and I applaud that :) we didn’t expect five stars so we were fine. Happy to be out on the beach.

I had reserved a queen size bed and the bed that was in my room was a full as confirmed by the tag on the sheets, when I discussed it with them staff I was told that I was wrong and that it was a queen sized bed despite the sheets saying size full. There was also older guests food left in our fridge when we opened the fridge at 10:30 pm. Having been exauhsted from our drive that day we went to bed and brought it up with them the next day where they said they couldn’t do anything because we didn’t mention it at 11 pm the night before.

I know the Island well and Amelia Island is my favorite destination. The hotel is on the beach and close to 2 restaurants within walking. The lobby is beautiful. Location is awesome. But the room was dirty, out dated and bed was very uncomfortable. There was no housekeeping despite asking numerous times. We actually tried to leave a few times.
The shower was broken, pool was small and not a good sitting area. As a beach hotel, there was no laundry site. They had a free breakfast that was not good at all. Food seemed old and stale, undrinkable coffee.
The hotel had potential to be awesome but was really disappointing.

The property itself was pretty good, just wish there was a balcony.

I very much enjoyed looking out the window of our oceanfront room. However, the room carpet was filthy, the shower door was scummy, the window blinds were broken, upholstered furniture was faded and dirty, and the mattress was hard. The front desk night time employee moved at a glacier pace when she was asked to give me sheets for the pull-out couch. The front desk was not friendly or welcoming. I would say this an Inn I would stay away from!

Ladies at desk were great. 207 is another story reeks of what not sure, no shower pressure and bathroom sink backs up. Nice place and needs some proper maintenance..

Didn’t like view of the Sandbar in front of our room. And I do think I booked the room as "ocean front" when it was actually "ocean view." That was disappointing.
But the beach chairs/umbrella package was nice.
Staff were generally nice and most were friendly. Liz is a gem. I would name others, but no nametags.
Appreciate being able to checkout an hour later to accomodate our later flight.

Loved the "botique" hotel ambience and coziness of the room. Excellent location near beach and good restaurant in walking distance.

The employees are always very nice and helpful.
The property is on the beach which makes it a perfect place to stay. The blinds in my room needed to be replaced, but that did not take away from our visit. We will stay there again on our next visit to Amelia Island.

I booked this hotel for a surprise getaway weekend for my husband’s birthday. I picked it because of the prime location on the beach. That it lived up to, but the hotel itself and the staff were disappointing. Our room was extremely small, with the door to the bathroom not opening all the way because the bed was in the way. The fan had clearly not been cleaned in awhile, as it was covered in dust. They didn’t supply a comforter, only two thin sheets. When we complained about the fan, they couldn’t do anything about it that night. When we asked for a comforter, we were given another blanket. One perk was a water station on the main floor to fill up your water bottles. They also had garage parking. The breakfast could be better.

Excellent location. Beautiful beach!!! Walking distance to restaurant with live music on Monday and Tuesday night even!!! Park with beach boardwalk next door and small mini golf course. Free breakfast included! We will be back!

The room was clean and comfortable my only suggestion would be to have the vents and ceilings fans cleaned at least once a month. The other would be to leave the roof top observation deck open after dark. It would have been great to spend some time up there under the stars. Other than that it was an enjoyable stay.

Entire staff was pleasant. Hotel was clean. Breakfast was great. Location is great but has limited parking. One ac in our room wasn’t working. Free cookies at front desk were tasty. Signing a shell and leaving at hotel was a cute idea. Overall

Beautiful location, steps from the beach, Friendly staff. Beach bar almost adjacent to hotel. Hotel was a bit older. Rooms could use an update.
5.0 / 5.0
The hotel itself was nice, clean, and very close to the beach. There are a few things you’ll want to know before booking a room.
1. Hotel staff was polite.
2. Breakfast was eggs, grits, link sausage, toast, waffles, fresh fruit, cereal, juice, and decent coffee.
3. Location to the beach is excellent. There are chair/umbrella rentals in case you don’t have your own.
4. We rented a room for 2 people. It was clean and updated. The bathroom was clean and spacious, Our room was extremely small, probably 8x10. It is ok for small to normal size people but anyone tall or large would have difficulty getting around. I read in another review that these are called parlor rooms. There is a queen size bed, tv, refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker with a few pods.
5. Parking is strange. The parking areas are a tight fit. There are between 10-12 spaces behind the hotel. Under the hotel is a parking garage that is small and cramped. A large truck or suv may have parking difficulties. There is a public lot adjacent to the hotel for daytime parking only.
Our experience was great for a weekend away!

The hotel is a mess. I had to move four times because the AC was too loud or not working. The receptionist had her son with her and was busy chasing him instead of being available. The sofa bed did not have sheets, so I had to use towels instead to cover up. I would never recommend this establishment to anyone. The pictures do not reflect the actual quality of this hotel.

Our rooms bedroom remote was missing so couldn't use the tv the first night. Ice bucket was half full of water, with the plastic bag, for next use sitting inthe water. Candy wrappers in the head of bed between matress and headboard. Just seems as if the manager isnt making sure that the rooms are adequately cleaned between stays. We actually remounted the large mirror in the kitchette area ourselves, as to prevent it falling.

Checkin was easy, parking was good, view was very nice. Room could use a few updates like a queen size bed and newer linens. Room was nice and staff was helpful. Location was great - right on the beach and close to stores and restaurants.

The location is great with easy access to beach actually your on the beach. Our room was small very small they call it a parlor room ,the door hits bed you can walk around to bathroom or crawl over bed too small to have a suitcases in way . But overall it was ok .
