We loved our weekend at the lake! We’ll definitely book a suite at this hotel again!

Best place on the lake!!!

I had never been to Missouri sonwhen I booked this hotel it was totally random. I was surprising my boyfriend but as we entered the room I was just as blown away. The room was bigger than my last apartment and the view was amazing. We didn't leave the property all weekend, this resort had everything. 10/10 would recommend and stay again.

Best quality for the lake, staff is very dedicated

I stayed here before in the past and it was a very nice place this time. I can’t say the same. There’s several features inside the room that were broken or not functioning. There’s mold growing on the ceiling. The first day I let the staff know they said they would get on it. Nobody address any of the concerns. It’s kind of an expensive room to have some thing like that in a so cold resort.

The pool and hot tub were still open for Bike week which is a huge event ever year at this time. Zero bar tenders or bars were open by the pool area making it a chore to walk all the way back to resturant to order a drink for pool. Of course, they were open at night for the concert. I believe this was extremely poor planning by mgmt. Have at least one bar open with easy drinks near the pool. Also, free coffee at n the morning would be nice. Most upscale hotels offer free coffee.

I had a king suite. The tv in the living room seemed ancient as far as flat screens go and didn't work. It was during bike week, and there were some conflicts with other guests but the staff and security did an outstanding job managing the situations.

This facilities room probably is at the refurbishment stage. Room was large and spacious but everything was old. The Kleenex box had 2 Kleenex in it. The rim of the toilet bowl was dirty. Just not what we’re used to.

I liked Jerry in the reception area, He is very kind and extremely helpful. He went out of his way to change my room when I explained to him the reason. He was very professional and went above and beyond

Warning to anyone booking here. You’ll have to put up with extremely loud, bad country music bands that play till 1 AM on Friday and Saturday nights. We were on the top floor and the walls shook it was so loud. I called the front desk and they said “well you booked on Expedia and we don’t tell people about the music noise there” - they could not care less - and I booked on Hotels.com. I would never stay here again. Also the door to bedroom was broken - we did call about that and they fixed it the same day though.

Very quick stay. Just one night. The room was very nice and large. Great view of the lake from our room. The only issue was the bathroom. Booked this room because it had a jacuzzi tub. I wouldn’t step inside it. Very dirty and unclean. That was the only disappointment.

We checked in on August 11, which I would consider still peak season. Paid a premium to be there and nothing was open at the resort. Pool was cold, pool bar closed, chill bar closed, toad pizza closed. All listed open online. Gym sub par, at best. Disappointed.

Location is convient and offers close activity options. Most of the staff was nice. We went to the front desk about transportation options to surrounding bars. Was advised we could just walk or pay 20.00 a person for water taxi. Later found out there was actually a free shuttle bus. Our room was not completely clean, dirty dishes and smashed spiders. Pool day would have been better if DJ and staff were not going over politics. Really just wanted to relax and enjoy the time versus listening to the DJs beliefs.

Room was filthy. Black mold in the shower ceiling, blood stains on coverlet and floors were stained. Glasses and silverware were all dirty with no dish soap available. Wasps nests and spiderwebs on balcony made enjoying outdoor space impossible. Coffee pot in room did not have caffeinated coffee pods available. Loud band played until 1:00am nightly in spite of noise ordinance contract we signed upon checkin. Very disappointed in this stay. We were in an upgraded suite facing the lake.

Great hotel! Only stayed two days on a road trip, wish we would have booked longer. It gets loud at night bc of the music at the bars but we liked the entertainment from our balcony. The connected restaurant was our favorite food of our trip. Awesome pool too!

The perfect place for our fun and relaxing bachelor party weekend!

Beautiful resort with everything you would need. Quite place to unwind on the balcony. It is a little ways from the main attractions, like the dam and Osage beach, but they are very easy to drive to. We wish we had more time and could have stayed a couple more days.
We are a couple in the mid 50’s early 60’s

Room very good, staff very good, swimming pool needs upgrades

Beware of room types and staff explanations. After speaking with on site staff to verify amenities, we booked a room for 3 nights. Upon arrival we were told our room's balcony was not facing the water as we were originally told. Conveniently (for the hotel), the actual room we thought we had booked was available but only if we paid an upgrade fee of $100. After a long day of travel, we reluctantly paid so we could just get to our room. After all the trouble and paying extra, the lake side balcony had no less that 15 wasp nests (have photos) on it so needless to say we didn't really use the balcony since nobody ever came to remedy the issue when we reported it.
The room itself was nice but the upcharge and inability to fully enjoy the amenities were troubling. Hopefully you do not want to sleep in. The staff was vacuuming the hallway at 8am on two of the mornings we were there. Additionally, our booking was listed by the hotel under a different third-party vendor... probably why it was messed up.

We had a great time our suite was beautiful butttt....they put us at the very end close to the band out in front of our balcony. I had 2 grand kids it was very loud up till 1:00 am so needless to say I didn't get any sleep, oh the kids can sleep through a tornado. Lol I was exhausted and the bed was perfect so sad I couldn't enjoy a good night's sleep. Please I recommend this place was awesome we will be back, but will request a room away from the loud music, and the loud partiers.
Over all a 9 I give a ten but the band was too loud. All though they were a good band, great singer and musicians were a 10 wish I was younger. But back to bases, if you want rest and relaxation as I did.... Forget it at that end of the resort. Lesson learned very expensive listen 👂 lmbo they need partiers at that end not grandma's with children.

Balcony of room on the lake. Spacious room. Restaurant was as expected, Hotel pricing for average food.

Front desk staff were attentive and great. 2nd floor was noisy. Liked the suite/kitchenette but refrigerator never worked. Very long walk to H. Toads for handicap but was only restaurant option. Appetizer menu and serving of potato skins and calamari soaked in grease. Next time will stay in a VRBO.

Plus: smiling staff, beautiful hotel location, pool open until late evening. The room has a refrigerator, microwave, electric stove, dishes, the room is cozy. Minus: dirty toilets and corridors near the pool. The maids talk and laugh very loudly, which makes it difficult to relax in the room. The dishes in the room were dirty. The music near the pool is so loud that you have to read lips. If you have small children, think about this in advance. Conclusion - this hotel is more for young people. 18+ Many people drink alcohol. Or who want to remember what youth is like. And who have boats and yachts. 🛥️. It's unlikely that I will return with my family

Wonderful experience great room. Only down side is the live music goes on well past midnight. Bugs on the balcony with spider webs and tons of mosquitoes that get into the room. Sheets for the sofa bed were filthy. Restaurant food was great, pool and hot tub were great.

This place was lovely and the view was spectacular. I would recommend coming back and telling my colleagues.
