Amazing hotel, far exceeded the expectations. Great comfortable beds, great excellent bathroom and bath products. Really nice and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Beach towels for the beach. Parking on site for 15 euros and we were able to keep the car there till 4 pm on the check out day.

Stayed for one night, and everything was exactly as described.

Quiet and peaceful property.

Nice and friendly family hotel. Not too crowded for a stay in September. Bedrooms clean but a bit small. Shuttle bus to Nice Airport was useful.

Only a couple of rooms are renovated, the others are typical 90s-style with filthy carpets. The restaurant is very good and the staff friendly. Unfortunately the hotel description is misleading: There is NO PRIVATE BEACH, the hotel merely has a cooperation with two private beaches (which are not exactly close to the hotel and really below-average even in comparison to
the anyways not particularly beautiful other San Remo beaches) at an additional cost of 26€ per day for a couple. Furthermore, there is no garden and space at the pool is rare when the hotel is crowded.

Lovely location & great pool

The swimming pool is very small - leaving the hotel guests to fight over a few available sun beds. If you get annoyed by the occupied and crowded swimming pool, the hotel offers a private beach. However, you have to pay 15€ per day per person to use the beach - which can be found way cheaper at other beaches in the area. Likewise the hotel offers a garage but they charge a fee of 15€ per night. The rooms are no longer up to date and some of the staff is very impolite. The overall impression is that the hotel doesn’t live up to the standard of a 4 stars hotel and the hotel is overpriced.

The location is beautiful, the building is well maintained, the personnel at the reception good, the personnel serving the breakfast poor. Unfortunately my room was close to the housekeepers' "warehouse" and at 7.30 they use to chat all together (with also their walkie-talkie on) in front of my door. I came here several times, always the same problem...

It is a lovely hotel with a great swimming pool. The breakfast was excellent - a wonderful choice. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Bathrooms were well equipped and with soft towels.

Beautiful view, nicely designed room and pool area, great breakfast and staff service. Wi-fi didn’t work well in the room.

The room we have rented did not look like on the picture. It was very dark and depressing. It was absolutely not worth the money. Since we have opted for not returnable option to begin, we had to stay and upgrade. We paid additional money and the room with the balcony was much nicer. We felt the pictures were misleading. By the time we paid the difference, we could have stayed in a much nicer hotel. The breakfast was ok but nothing special. By 9 am most of the food was gone..

Lovely hotel with great service. The car park is tiny, but hotel staff were very helpful in ensuring everyone fit.
The dinner in the restaurant was delicious, and we highly recommend the local wine.
The hotel is not directly on the beach, but it’s a very short walk down the hill. We didn’t have time to make use of the beach, but guests do supposedly have access to one of the private beach areas courtesy of the hotel.
Driving in Sanremo is not for the faint of heart, with very narrow bendy streets that go up and down the hills. Walking and cycling is definitely recommended for getting around the immediate area, and it’s a very enjoyable experience.

It was amazing. What a fantastic time we had. The people at the reception desk could not have been nicer. We adored the wonderful pool. The breakfast was delicious with so many choices. It was included. They were connected to a great beach club 5 min. away. And San Remo has incredible shopping! The name of the hotel was fitting. It was a paradise.

Family run hotel in a real nice neighborhood, excellently located close to the beach and city center.
Staff in the hotel and restaurant very courteous and ambitious. Great traditional half board meals served daily. Outdoor restaurant seating in front of the pool really pleasurable for fantastic Italian nights.

The staff were exellent and very service-minded. The pool was not open before 09.00 in the morning and only open till 19.00 in the evening which was sad because it is nice to take an early swim before breakfast and a late one in the evening. The view from the room was beautiful but it was impossible to sit on the balcony at night because there was no light.

Close to the beach, although you do have to walk a way and use a voucher. The beach was a bit crowded. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was by the pool and had a wonderful selection. Highly recommend the hotel. Close to bike rental.

Excellent location set 150m from the main road and beach which meant the hotel was a haven of tranquility. The superior rooms are worth every penny, spacious and well appointed. Easy walk into central Sanremo.

Small friendly typically Italian hotel in an attractive area 10 - 15 minutes easy walk into Sanremo centre.
Only had bed and breakfast which was good. Hotel is clean, comfortable and well maintained with excellent heated pool. Friendly and professional staff. A four star hotel fully deserving it's four star rating. We had a room with balcony overlooking the swimming pool and the sea, which we would recommend. Very good standards and we would be happy to stay here again should we return to Sanremo. More than happy to recommend it to family and friends.

Overpriced and don't be fooled by thinking retro is charming and quaint. Hotel Paradiso and sanremo in general are overrated and dull with living of previous days in history when the place was probably grand. Worst part off our 5week holiday.

Stayed here in october for one night. Room was a bit old, but clean. The bathroom looked new (probably redone recently).
Only negative point was the wireless access, which was very slow (and i mean *very* slow). Given that october is not really the busy season I can imagine that it is even worse during summer.
Anyway, you don't go to this kind of hotel for the internet :) It was very close to the city and the beach, so it was overall a good experience.

I have visited San Remo on many occasions with my girlfriend as my Aunt lives there. Normally we stay with her, but now with a small daughter in tow we decided to opt for a hotel.
Location was important as well as having a decent swimming pool and a willingness to cater for kids - ie provide a cot at no extra cost - Hotel Paradiso ticked all the boxes. Free WIFI and the opportunity to take up the offer of a keenly priced shuttle service from Nice airport clinched the deal for us and I have to say the whole experience was superb.
We were met at arrivals by Fabrizio from the hotel and one hour later were checking in.
Previously, I've always opted for the very scenic train journey along the coast - but trust me, with an energetic small child for company - the shuttle is the best option.
The room was sizeable, clean, and well appointed and the bathroom pleasantly large and a nice balcony overlooked the pool with views out to sea.
The food was excellent to the point were I invited my mother, aunt and a friend of theirs along for an evening meal on a couple of occasions. The staff were always polite and welcoming and of course made a great fuss of my little girl who loved every minute of her stay.
In respect of location, the hotel is set back from the main road and so quiet at night. 10 minutes walk and you are on the steps of the casino - 10 minutes walk and you are at the beach where the hotel has a free concession for guests.
We will stay here again on our next visit.
