Very nice, quiet hotel near the heart of Vence and a very short walk, ~5 mins to the old city, restaurants, bars, shopping, and marché. I was amazed at how safe it felt walking to and from the the hotel whether day or night. Staff was always amazingly friendly and helpful. A nice petite dejeuner for a modest supplement is available. Parking is available in a secure garage below the hotel. Tight fits as is usually with French parking. A short drive to Menton, Monaco, Nice, Cannes or into the Alpes and points West. If you're okay with driving even St Tropez is close with a 2-hour drive.

The Hotel Diana is a great hotel in the middle of Vence. The location was perfect within walking distance of all the great restaurants and shopping. It had a parking garage with easy access to roads to nearby villages as well as Nice. The minifridge was a great help as we did a little shopping and ate breakfast on our patio every morning with a view of the fountain. The bathrooms were newly renovated. The staff were friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff were attentive. I highly recommend this property.

Very friendly and helpful night concierge with very good English. Day time staff have very little English but we muddled through. I had a basic - economy- room but it was more than adequate for my needs as I was out each day over the weekend and only needed the room for sleeping. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the air conditioning very cold which was needed in 30 degree plus heat. Great find and would recommend without hesitation.

We arrived at Hotel Diana after a very busy two weeks - and this hotel and Vence let us slow down. The bed was very comfy, the room spacious enough for two - improved no end by the glorious balcony - ideal for reading and looking at the mountains! The bathroom was modern if a little squeezy. We had thought of using a kitchen but wasnt one in our room - so deferred to the local restaurants. We did look for the tea and coffee available downstairs - in the end paid for a coffee and tea on two days. The staff were very helpful, tho English was not the strong suit for two of the three people on reception. The outside garden is great for just sitting - so was our balcony! Location - 300m to the old city and Vence museum. Wonderful few days!

The person who checked me in was nice, the other two guys I saw were not interested at all in being there. Although the room was clean, the smell was really bad. And the town is just ok, there are better options in the region. Wouldnt stay there again.

A really nice small hotel very welcoming and convenient for travelling around and still close enough to the centre of town. The weather was really hot and the air condition was the best ever.

Venice is beautiful and relaxing even in the middle of summer. We had a suite which was very spacious and comfortable. Staff very helpful. Jacuzzi on roof overlooking mountain and old town truly lovely. Will definitely go back.

We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Diana. The owners (father and son) were extremely friendly and helpful. Both went out of their way to answer our questions, accommodate our requests, and introduce us to the town. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and well kept with beautiful views. The balcony was a real plus. Great location too. Vence is a lovely town.
