Perfect location but dated interior - logistically difficult to unload luggage as there is no dedicated parking and to find a place to simply unload is a lottery - there are no laundry facilities yon offer and the support to clients with luggage is not immediately evident - I am told a - severely needed - renovation is planned for the autumn . Cleanliness is another issue

Quiet, very comfortable hotel reminiscent of a fine hotel of the 1960s. Good value. Great location.

If you are looking for a quiet and modern hotel, this is not it, but we were looking for a place in the heart of the Perugia shopping and dining areas and we got just that. Nothing fancy about this restored convent, but it was clean and the staff was friendly and we enjoyed some great meals in the nearby restaurant. We got a fair amount of street noise late into the night, but we even enjoyed that as part of the experience. They also offer discounted parking at a nearby parking garage if you have a vehicle.

The position of the hotel could not be better. You walk out into the pedestrian centre of the city and enjoy the beauty of the medieval setting immediately. Our room was small and dark with a tiny bathroom but everything worked. The excellent scrambled eggs were the only hot offering for breakfast but you could make yourself a pot of tea. There was a selection of baked goods offered with fruit and yogurt. The exterior of the hotel is medieval but the interior was changed decades ago and is rather tired. The restaurant in the courtyard is very atmospheric and has excellent food, we enjoyed the Umbrian specialties including truffles. We loved walking around Perugia, so much to enjoy, and this hotel is the perfect base because you don’t need a car.

Staff was very helpful with any questions we had and helping to get us taxis, etc. Beds were a little hard. Area that the hotel is in is excellent, it’s right in the historic center and walkable to all shops and restaurants and sites. Mini metro can be used to get to train station easily.

I picked the hotel because of its location on Piazza Italia and it was absolutely perfect. We were right in the old city with all the local bus stops right outside and an easy walk from the bus station. Our hotel room was stunning, with antique furniture, beautifully decorated and absolutely enormous. Everything was clean and tidy, and the staff were all so friendly and lovely. Breakfast included a huge variety of different dishes. My mum is wheat-intolerant, but they had a whole selection of gluten-free bread and cakes for her, so she had as many options as I did. We had dinner in La Rosetta one evening and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced given the quality and the first-rate service. We couldn't have been happier with the stay and I'll be recommending the hotel to all my friends.

Great hotel and very helpful friendly and professional staff. The beds could do with newer more comfortable ones but they did put a couple of boards under the mattress and many blankets on top of the mattress to make me more comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Great coffee.

La Rosetta has a lot of character, but it is a bit worn. I have no real complaints (other than housekeeping routinely ignoring the "do not disturb" sign), and I generally enjoyed the stay. It just isn't what you would describe as a 4 star hotel (maybe 2.5/3). The bed was not in very good shape, so somebody with a back problem would struggle. Most of the staff was friendly, the breakfast was very good, and it is in a great location.

Excellent central hotel. We had read reviews online before booking so knew from them that some of the hotel features are a bit old & need updating. So we weren’t surprised and got what we were expecting.
Pros - central, clean, excellent staff, quiet room (as requested) and beautiful fluffy towels, excellent shower, mini bar in room but we didn’t have anything. Nice to have the option. Good breakfast buffet for Italy where cakes/cornettos and coffee are the norm. We loved the tea selection! Hotel kindly kept our bags after check-out for a few hours.
Cons - mattresses on the two beds in our twin room need replacing, toilet seat broken, shower curtain also problematic. Strong smell of furniture polish in the rooms.
Overall, I would stay again as the pros out-weigh the cons and you get what you pay for here!

Great location and a nice room. However there were no tea and coffee facilities, warm fridge, no iron and only two plastic cups were provided for the whole week so we bought our own glasses.

Our Airbnb rental in Perugia was not as stated in the listing so we had to scramble to find a place to stay and were glad to stay here. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Perugia. It was clean, bathroom in our room was recently remodeled and very nice. The bed was very firm. If you get a room on the plaza you’ll need earplugs. Breakfast was generous and included eggs, pastries and gluten free options.

The hotel is located in the very middle of Perugia with all major attractions and great restaurants within walking distance. Excellent breakfast buffet, beautiful lobby. The hotel also has reduced price parking at a nearby easily reached covered parking garage.

The hotel is in an ideal location for exploring Perugia. Clean and comfortable, with spacious rooms and helpful staff. The hotel is a very short walk to the cathedral, museums and national gallery and the escalator down to the bus station for trips to Assisi and other local towns.

I stayed for 1 night before going on to a cookery course at a nearby farm. It was just what I needed. Clean, friendly and very convenient. Staff were helpful when I needed directions for the market but not over gushy. Just right in fact.
