Everything was great

This hotel deserve 3 stars at best. It was simply bad and in need of massive fixing. Everything was poor, from checkin, pool, restaurants and fitness room. E.g. Sitting in our room we clearly heard people talking in the hallway, not to mention getting woken up by the tv in the room next door … As well as going to the gym to learn that the treadmill was dead … Not something to be expected from a 5 (!?!) star hotel.

No drinking water and a hot water maker. Even no glass for drinking water.

Excellent location with a view of three countries. Despite being in a process of renovation the facility was in excellent condition, clean and inviting. The staff was very helpful. The outdoor pool is phenomenal.

There’s no way this hotel is 5 stars. It’s very outdated and hot. AC is not strong enough in common area. Our room had a great view , but the carpet gotta go. It’s filthy!!!! I’m glad we had slippers. The bathroom seems renovated, but the sink faucet only has hot water ! Pool was great. Buffer breakfast was a joke. All carbs and fruits. No egg station and will charge for especially coffee. There are Gnats on the display fruit which has a rotten eggplant in it. No one cares. I told a waiter he just shook his hands over them to fly away !!!!
Very close to “ Rio Uruguay” the bus to airport or falls. Walking distance to city center and food. Make sure taxis don’t scam you!!! The hotel is going under renovation so hopefully will be a 5 star soon. But no way right now. No water station or coffee in common area.

The hotel is not what you see or what they offer. The rooms are so old and in bad conditions, no Internet connection inside rooms, we asked for baby bed and the never provided, no late check out and the check out is at 11:00 am the gym is so small and old, restaurant +/-… frankly it’s a 3 stars hotel and not 5.

The wood floors are damaged and coming out. Walls need a little TLC

Great hotel with great service. The staff was very kind and I especially remember Julian that did an upgrade for us and not only an upgrade, but made sure that we will be able to stay an additional night when the hotel was fully booked and we had no where to go.
I'll be back there FOR SURE.

It was disappointing from the start. Unlike most hotel

Really loved spending the last day of our Argentina vacation at the pool. From the hotel you can see Brasil and Paraguay across the river. The included breakfast buffet was very nice with lots of choices. Hotel staff was very welcoming.

Very nice hotel over the Iguazu river. It is at the "three borders" location monument in each country (Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay) are visible from the property. Local bus service from in front of property directly to Iguazu falls (18 miles).

From Start to finish the stay was well managed.. Reception was especially amazing!
I would love to have spent longer there.
The only point i would make on the marketing ( maybe just me!!) is that I never realised it was on the Argentinian side - I am now extremely happy for the mistake as it is definitely the better side to experience the thunder of the water!!

We missed the first night because of a flight delayed tried to call to secure the room for early morning… nothing. Expedia did it for us but it was still hard to convince them that we had paid for the room and had a right to it. Once we managed that, everything else went extremely smoothly. They were polite, the room , pool and lobby were great and breakfast was pretty ok too.

Glorious view of the borders of 3 countries.Very airy architechtural design with views everywhere. It is also an ecologically in-tune facility. Kind and caring staff. Great spa. Had wonderful massages there. Grounds are clean but could use a little fixing up. To be honest and fair, their busiest season just ended and repairs were in
Progress. The owners truly care about making a winderful environment for their guests. The pool was lovely. Breakfast buffet was good with fruit and baked goods. The eggs were runny and the sausages salty. Dinner was fairly good. Not fabulous, but convenient and artistically displayed. Fish was very over cooked and very salty. Iverall , we give this resort 2 thumbs up!

This is a nice hotel but nothing like as nice as the pictures suggest. It’s quite old fashioned, but the rooms are large and comfy.

Very nice hotel and wonderful staff. There was my Birthday . Hotel management upgrade us for suite
As a courtesy . Big spacious room , huge pool , nice area around . When You step out from hotel there is square when you can see three countries .
Also a supermarket is literally next block. Taxi always available upon request . Front desk persons very friendly and helpful. Thank You
Will definitely recommend stay here.

I read some reviews from people that were not happy with this hotel. I think if you are thinking of this hotel similar to a Cancun resort type hotel you may be disappointed. The pool area is not as well kept as you you find at a nice resort. That said we didn't have those expectations and we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast and dinner we had were good. The rooms were of decent size and beds were comfortable. I liked the location over looking the rivers that separated Paraguay, Brazil and Argentina. The staff was friendly. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again if we come back to the area, just don't have high expectations for the pool area.

Dirty,AC in lobby and restaurant wasn’t working or set at around 80 degrees with 80 or 90 humidity.photos are very deceiving.no way this hotel is 5 stars, perhaps 3

Nice location. Easy to check in and was clean

We had a river view room, and the view was amazing with 3 countries converging at the rivers. It was about 1 km from the town center, but it was safe to walk and taxis are abundant. The breakfast buffet was nice, and the rooftop bar has a nice view. The only complaint in our room was that the shower doors did not close properly and the water always leaked to the bathroom floor.

This hotel has the worst reception I have ever seen. They were very rude and lazy while there was a ling line, only one person was working and the other person preferred to sit on a coach at distance and play with his phone. There was no air conditioning in the lobby so everyone was sweating like hell. The air conditioning in rooms was not working properly which made sleeping at night very difficult.I am not sure how this hotel is advertised as a high ranking establishment.

The hotel stands out ftom the rest in the area with unique architecture of vaulted atrium & lobby, manicured gardens sweeping views of the river, & exceptional pool facility that was creatively designed with stellar view. The rooms, while.adequate were not as imaginative in keeping with their excellent standard. Clean but rather bland,. Florescent lights & white walls are not what you expect in a 4 star.

Amazing view on the triple frontier, nice structure, good internal restaurant

It is a regular hotel with good service. I do not think it should have 4 starts. The room where I stayed was regular. Breakfast was decent, but had the same menu for the the time I stayed there. The hotel is overpriced.

The hotel is very close to the 3 corners where the countries meet. Also, it has beautiful views, nice amenities, and a very helpful staff. I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent staff!!! Great atmosphere god food and service on the lobby bar!!.

I came in a solo trip and the location is great if you get a river view. Amazing sites to wake up to. It’s a little ways away from stores, if that matters to you. The breakfast was amazing too. I enjoyed my trip a lot.

Really nice hotel with lots of facilities and lovely common areas.Location is a bit out of the way being 1km from the city center.Nice Buffett breakfast every morning with a good selection of items. They also have a nice restaurant with good prices compared to those at the city center. Rooms are quite large and well equipped and the bathroom is great.I will definitely come back.Stayed June 2019

Overall it was a nice property. It only needed to improve quality of breakfast. I would stay there again.

Good location to get to thr falls. Bus stop right outside.
3.0
PROS:
> Nearby bus stop that goes to Iguazu National Park and the Three Frontier lookout.
CONS:
> No in-room coffee maker or kettle
> No USB plug
> No wash cloth
> No iron
> Stained pillow cases / towels
> Poor food execution
3.0
Liked the location and pool. This was not a five star hotel as there was too much deferred maintenance and the breakfast was mediocre and the restaurant poor.
5.0
The place is clean, helpful. They didn’t know that at the Falls they accept AMEX card and also there are ATMs near the ticket counter at the Falls. On the other hand the staff suggested a catamaran tour from the nearby river which was excellent. We saw all three countries, Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay in a two tour hour ride starting at 17:00 hours.

Near Mardi Gras activities as well as bus and taxi services
