Old charm of the property. Lots of mosquitos and despite staff providing repellent, the situation did not improve. Very limited gym with short opening hours. Great location.

The location was wonderful with great views. The pools were also great to have including the spa areas. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here during a family holiday. It is a perfect location between ischia porto and ponte. The hotel facilities are great and it was always spotless. The pools are lovely. In the morning the pool is in the shade which is perfect as it always the kids the play without the risk of being burnt by the sun. The best thing was that it felt very italian not british!

old-fashioned hotel catering mostly to german and italian speaking older crowd.
Good location in a quiet area by the sea. 5 min. walk to dining, bars, night life. Room size is enough for 2 ppl with not a lot of luggage. Bed was ok, pillows - hard and flat (actually all other hotels we stayed on Amalfi Coast had the same type of pillows). Bathroom outdated but spacious. Good variety breakfast. Long walk to access their private beach. Pleasant pools and spa facilities. Nice feature: included free access to Castiglione Termal park with shuttle service for only 5 euro. Staff was nice, but communicating in english could be problematic. Francesco at front desk speaks English well and very helpful.
Wifi not warking in room.

The hotel is very close to the main street and beach, but the beach where you have a place reserved with the hotel booking is 10 minutes walking, not a big issue for us. The pools, gym and other facilities are ok, internet Wi-Fi did not have any signal in the room but only in the reception area. What is amazing is the staff, very kind and ready to help. What I strongly suggest is the food in the hotel restaurant, eating there is an experience you will never regret.Recommended for your stay in Ischia.

The hotel is located in a beautiful location, in front of the sea and close to Rome Street, the central and commercial street of Ischia. The staff are courteous and helpful. The downside is the cleanliness of the rooms and the furnishings should be improved and made good maintenance. The fixtures are bad. The breakfast is pretty, serving the plastic jar trays and the canned fruit salad. The pools are nice and are located on a seafront terrace. Also enjoy the spa.The hotel beach is 600 meters away and it is very crowded and the sea is not particularly nice, so you have to go for a beautiful sea.

Hotel Parco Aurora is a very pleasant but dated hotel in Ischia which is rated as 4 stars. Good location in Ischia. However, the hotel falls down very badly in certain areas – the breakfast served is probably the worst we’ve had in Italy at a 4 star hotel. Cheap and low quality breakfast items are served daily WITHOUT change or variation– Bread – 1 Italian style bread and 1 cheap white bread for toast Cheese – only 1 unappetising ‘yellow’ cheese and 1 white cheese Juice – no Fresh juice, but cheap sweet orange and grapefruit juice Fresh fruit – only oranges and apples. Summer fruits such as peaches, apricots, grapes, were totally non-existentCanned fruit – same mixture of cheap canned fruitYogurt – served up in 1 big bowl that everybody took from, no individual containersCroissants – looked like they were left over from previous daysTomatoes – were not sliced, but placed whole in a bowl everyday – why?No olives, cucumbers or other fresh vegetablesCake – left overs from the previous night’s dinner servingsScrambled eggs were removed 15 minutes every day before the end of breakfast? – why?......a very poor showingThe hotel also falls down on the bathroom cosmetics – the only cosmetic apparent is cheap shampoo in cheap small envelopes. Soap quality is also very poor. Again, why? It’s a pity that the hotel has to cheapen itself with the poor quality breakfast and cheap cosmetics. Regretfully, what could be a good 4 star hotel is unfortunately a 2.5 star at best.

The only problem we had was that we had book 3 rooms and when we got there the hotel had made an error and only got 2 rooms. They did find a 3rd room which was a room they didnt usually use, which we nicknamed the dungeon They upgraded one of the rooms which had a lovely sea view and a balcony. All,rooms were clean but there was a big difference between the 3. We still had a lovely stay and would return

Easy to get. Next to port. Between beach and shopping street. It's great the hotel has including package for visiting nearest thermal park. Brings you there and back in time you want. Kitchen in the hotel offers breakfast, lunch and dinner menu as well food is good. Pool and sauna areas are nice to have in hotel.

This hotel caters to German and Italian. Very little english speaking assistance. The dining room staff where rude and not very friendly. They moved us 3 times and re-sat us at dirty tables (dont understand why, other then we where taking advantage of the continental breakfast.) The other guest are majority senior citizens, not for a younger crowd. The beach was farther way then one would expect. Our bathroom had a terrible odor. Choose your hotel wisely when on Ischia Island.

Hotel itself is a bit dated however it's in a great location and the staff are very good. We had a spacious, clean room overlooking the pool and sea, which made for a great sun set location.
