Very charming hotel with friendly staff. We stayed in the penthouse suite. Very comfortable. You do have to climb one set of spiral stairs fyi. You do hear the church Bells every 30min even past midnight but that’s everywhere in Strasbourg. So recommend bringing earplugs. Only a bridge away from the center of all Xmas markets.

Staff were very helpful and they allowed me to have early check in

Convenient location for Christmas markets.

Our stay was cozy. The hotel is located near main sights (e.g, cathedral) and the shopping district. The breakfast at the hotel was also good. There was a good selection of food.
The only downside was a missing trash bin inside the room and there were some holes in our towels. Otherwise, the hotel is perfectly located in a safe neighborhood.

I found the location quiet, but within a 10 minute walk to restaurants and tourist attractions. Breakfast was sufficient and the staff extremely helpful. Would go back again in the future.

This property is uniquely designed with everything roses. Tiny quarters but clean, safe and quaint. All a single traveler needs.

Each room is like a work of art. Fantastic!

Over-all it was a nice hotel. Everything was clean, comfortable and there was an AC. Only disappointment was the gym. It looked like the pictures but that is barely a gym. Also, the opening hours where unclear and short. 16-20 it seemed like, because even the staff couldn’t tell us

Great boutique hotel. Excellent location. Clean. Comfortable. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend.

Nice small hotel just across the bridge from the historic town, but on the other side of the island from the railway station. Maybe 30 min walk from there. Good bed, very nice staff, quiet, no problems at all. Breakfast a bit on the lean side, as often in France.

The hotel was located right on the edge of the old town and walking to Little France and the cathedral was very convenient. The staff were helpful and friendly.

There was shouting in hall and close by rooms the middle of the night multiple times that woke me up. Definitely not sound proof rooms. The evening desk person was incredibly nice and his service was great.

Had a great stay at Hotel Roses. Room, albeit small (esp. the shower), was nice and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful, in particular the 2 ladies who took the morning shift. And location was fab. Would stay again.

Sleeping on the small bed and pillow felt like sleeping on a pile of newspapers. My husbands feet hung off the bed (hes 510).

The location is a 10 minutes walk to the catedral. The beds and the bathroom were comfortable. There’s a small sauna that we used at an aditional cost. The breakfast was nice, good selection although the croissants and pain au chocolat weren’t very fresh. Also they could offer more fruits, but it was good. The the older gentleman working at the reception ‘s night shift was kind. The younger guy started complaining telling me about the way I had put the egg boiler on high. He had already turned it down and explained, and I had said ok. He kept talking, and carried on, he said if anything happened it would be my responsabilty etc, being harassed unecessarily by the receptionist was an unpleasant experience.

Would definitely stay again if back in the area.

We went to Strasbourg during the Capitale de Noël Christmas Market.. The Roses Hotel was in walking distance to all the historical sites and cathedrals. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting such a beautiful and historic city.

The room was very small but clean and the location is great, 6-7 minutes walking distance from the Cathedral. Staff was kind and helpful.

The room was a bit small but probably enough for a single person like me. The bathroom stall on the first nights though were REALLY REALLY tight. Wifi was sporadic ... more off than on during my 4 night stay. Location was excellent. Rooms could benefit from a luggage rack.

I chose Hotel Roses because of it's close proximity to old town Strasbourg. It is just outside the old town. It was an easy walk into the old town each day. The hotel is newly-renovated and clean, modern bathrooms, comfortable bed. The hotel staff go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. There is a breakfast served in the front room each morning for a reasonable cost. It is a classic European breakfast with cold cuts, cheese, breads, croissants, coffees, fruit, yogurt, etc. We discovered that the hotel is close to the University, so the neighbourhood surrounding the hotel was packed with restaurants featuring many different cuisines (Greek, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Syrian, Lebanese, etc.).

This small hotel is situated in a quiet area just over the river from the Cathedral and the town. It is in walking distance to Petite France and loads of bars and restaurants. The hotel itself was quiet, nicely decorated with each room having a different colour scheme, and very clean.. Breakfast was good with fruit and yoghurt, ham, cheese and eggs and a selection of breads and croissants. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and we really enjoyed our stay.

We had the suite to fit 4 of us. It was huge and clean. The kitchen had a knife and a spoon but no cooking equipment and no kettle. The location was perfect to access the centre of Strasbourg, 2 minute walk. Hotel staff were not that friendly.

Walkable to all sights, friendly staff, good breakfast (optional).

Super cute hotel close to city center. Staff was incredibly nice and offered to keep my bags the day I checked out so I could visit the city without my luggage. Room was clean and comfortable. Walking distance to city center.

A great hotel in a perfect location. Walk to the cathedral and central square in minutes. Light show on the cathedral at night was beautiful!
