Nice little hotel

This a really convenient hotel to get around Cannes. You can walk everywhere. Not all rooms have showers (some have baths). Be really specific when you book the room, mine did not have any wardrobes! If you are looking for a quiet area, this is not the place, it's right in the middle of the action - which makes it really accessible. The Brown Sugar bar is great.

I checked in but couldn't stay there, I had to book another hotel elsewhere. Room was smelly and no staff on site to report. It's the worse hotel I have ever seen, never ever would I have been able to stsy there.

The location was great. Near the beach stores and restaurants. There was no hotel staff on site. They failed to send the entry code and room number in advance do it took two calls and trr we o hours to get in.
The room was spare but comfy. The bathroom good.

The hotel is in a brilliant position. Great if you want to walk to the beach or to restaurants. Only book here if you are a night person and love to be in the centre of everything. The rooms are nice and clean but there is no reception - so if there is something wrong, there is no-one there to fix it. For me it was perfect but it won't be good for families.

Very dirty hotel, very noisy, I am almost frozen because the heating is of poor quality, the bed was dirty and the mattress used up. there were no duvets, just a woolen blanket. no service available. I wonder where the hotel got such good reviews from (have they bought them? because it was probably one of the worst hotel experiences I had).

The place is generally nice, great location, lots of restaurants around it, close to the beach and main attractions area. However, some things were annoying:- There is no elevator (it stats that on the web, but doesnt state that rooms are on 2nd floor).- The rooms are non-smoking, but the front-desk smokes indoors.- there are hot water, but the water stream is very very weak to a point of only a few drops.- There is hardly any noise filter between rooms. Any action in the next room is herd.

The location and staff were wonderful. We are already talking about our next trip. It is close to everything without costing a ridiculous amount and the friendly staff made us feel welcome.

Sheets were not changed by housekeeping during my stay, towels were not replaced despite putting in shower to be replaced, had to ask reception for fresh towels. Room did not feel deep cleaned. Reception not manned during the day. Would not recommend to friends as the place was quite noisy although luckily it was double glazed. Had to buy own kettle as no coffee/tea facilities. Location was good.

The hotel is in a great location, and the employee is super friendly and helpful, but the room bed spread, curtains, and paint scheme need brightening up

A hotel that dares to be different. Individual decoration in each room, with good taste.Knowledgeable staff, who are very friendly. I shall happily revisit this hotel.

After learning of my long flight to the hotel, I was thoughtfully upgraded to a beautiful room, with s soaking tub. The room had a decently sized covered balcony. The only such room in the entire establishment.
It was a pleasure to decompress, from my long, crowded flight, to sit on the balcony and listen to the rain fall.
If I could have that room, I would stay there, again.
What could be improved;
The mattress was very uncomfortable.
Occasionally, I found small, black bugs on the floor. My guess that it is because there is no screen.
Although it was a non-smoking hotel, guests smoked in their rooms. When I alerted the attendant, he sprayed air freshener. He didn’t do anything to enforce the no smoking policy.
The worst thing that happened was that housekeeping took my wet towels off of the floor, folded them up and PUT THEM BACK in the basket, as if they were fresh.
I did not have a chance to speak to a staff person about it.

Hôtel Le Romanesque is a weird one. Its not necessarily good or bad — this is really one of those hotels where its going to depend on your taste. For example, its right in the middle of a bunch of bars and clubs — great if youre here to party and getting drunk nearby, but not so great if you get a streetside room and are trying to get a quiet night of sleep. They dont have a traditional hotel lobby. In fact, its sometimes closed during the day (the closed hours seem to vary, but its roughly 14h00 - 17h00).There are no elevators, so keep that in mind if you have a lot of luggage and arent very mobile (older visitors beware!). I also think the rooms have a bit of a strange smell, but it was fine after opening the windows a bit. The sheets are thin, with a bit of wear and tear. Our room also had a shower thats open to the bedroom. Thats cool, and since most people coming are couples its probably a plus. But just a heads up for other travelers. Otherwise, the staff is friendly and the location is pretty convenient. We didnt order any breakfast, so I cant speak to the quality of it. It didnt seem like anyone else was interested in getting breakfast there either.

Hotel was ideally situated in the center of the action in Cannes, the road its on has a bar and club but didnt hear a thing at night. Two minute walk from the front. Staff were friendly and attentive. The room could have been a bit cleaner, we stayed in a room with a small ceiling for the toilet which was a slight annoyance. Overall the hotel was great value for money and we would stay there again in future.

Last minute booking so delighted to get a room for family of 4 so conveniently located at a fair price. Stayed in a studio which was inside the hotel miramar. The position was fantastic in the middle of Cannes. Basic kitchen facilities which were very useful for making simple meals. Bed not the most comfortable . Overall good value for money.

Staff very friendly and helpful. In the prime location walking distance to beach or restaurants

My stay was off season, thus the street where the hotel is located was somewhat quiet. But in the summer it has to be realyy noisy. Anyhow, the isolation against the ourside is OK, unlike the isolation against the other rooms. They are very close to one another and you can hear your neighbor coming back at any time.
