Excellent location for what it was one of our best stay. Everybody we came across was extremely accommodating and looked after us as members of family. The private parking was well managed, we also got a lift to the bus station, which was surely a nice touch. Cleanliness was up to very good standards. Breakfast one of the best we had. All in all a pleasant stay, we will be sure of reccomending the hotel to our friends.

Very well laid out, clean and modern hotel.
Could be great, if the staff had less attitude.
On check-in, I was told to change rooms for the 2nd night. That's fine, but the next day, I got a call that they need it NOW. I was busy and asked them to move me 1 hour later. They called every 15-20 minutes to chase me up. I can't be expected to drop everything at their beck and call.
In the morning, I saw that the breakfast room was all set set up and all food was out when I popped outside. So on the way back, I thought I might as well get breakfast then. Girl storms up, puts her hand in my face and snaps "It's closed!!!", guy behind reception shouts "You must stick to schedule!". So I look at my watch ... I was 3 minutes early. Treated like a criminal for 3 minutes!
Tried to get dinnerm girl told me there's no table inside, but I could sit outside. After 35 minutes I still didn't even get a drink, so gave up.
Sitting on the balcony with my laptop, I suddenly get a bucket of water thrown at me. Thankfully no lasting damage to my laptop, but this delayed check-out by an hour, as I had to rescue my laptop and shower again. It was still dripping from the balcony above after I cleaned up, so idk if the cleaner just throws the water over the edge? There was no warning.
Check-out took 15 minutes without Q. After I handed over money for the tourist tax, staff sniggered to each other, saying "expedia" & rolling their eyes, then served 3 other customers before giving me my change.

Beautiful hotel staff were all so friendly, the hotel was spotless as was the beach and the whole town. The only complaint we had was the breakfast was cold apart from that the food was very varied and lovely.

A welcome haven from the bustle of the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was superb and really set us up for the day. Transport into Venice is easy, by bus or bus/ vaporetto. Easy bus ride from airport. Lovely beach. Very good pizzeria near hotel. Good choice of menu and inexpensive. Would definitely come here again.

Lovely small hotel in good location; 50 metres from beach and 500 metres from bus station with good links to Venice, Treviso and other towns in the Veneto. Very flat so suitable for those with walking difficulties.Nice food and staff, especially in restaurant, very friendly and welcoming.

The Hotel Gardenia is a very nice family run hotel in the centre of Lidi di Jesolo. It is very close to the beach and a 10 minute walk to the Bus Station for transport to Venice, Marco Polo Airport and the Railway Station at Venice Mestre. The Airport Bus to Jesilo is a 30 minute trip for only 10 euros for two people and two bags.
The Gardenia has been completely refurbished to a high standard and the accommodation is far superior to the previous two 4 star hotels in Jesolo which we have stayed in. The hotel has a very nice relaxed atmosphere, the owners and the staff are charming and they work hard to ensure everything is perfect. Half board is a good option as the food is good.
We look forward to our return next year.

Lovely family run hotel - all the staff were fantastically friendly, helpful and polite even to the point of Simo waiting over 1.5 hours to collect me from the airport after Monarch Airlines lost my luggage! Private beach (30 yards away) was gorgeous, the hotel and in fact the whole resort is wonderfully clean and classy. Food at the hotel was always expertly cooked and delicious, even though the choice wasnt always that varied. My fiancée especially loved the colourful and aromatic flowers which adorned each of the balconies at the hotel. Highly recommended!

Wie really enjoyed a great week at the Hotel Gardenia. We've been perfectly taken care by the staff. They all are very friendly and attentive. The Hotel is in a great shape.. Everything is looking new with a clean and modern Atmosphäre. Breakfast is delicius and you can find plenty of choices. Also the menue for lunch and Dinner offers a very good Variety to choose from. The Food Itself tastes Perfect. The only Thing I was missing have been tableclothes for the main Meals. Without it felt Kind of "Cold" and steril. I would definitely change it.
The Rooms are furnished very modern ...all is Fine. It's just a Minute to get to the beach or to the town's Shopping and Restaurant Street. Perfect.

We planned and booked this hotel a few weeks before we were due to arrive. We read the reviews on trip advisor and they were excellent. Because we booked the flights separately we were finding it difficult to find transport to the hotel for less than 150 Euros return.
I knew we could pick up the bus outside the airport but we didn't want to spend our first day wandering the streets trying to find the hotel.
I emailed the hotel for recommendations and they offered to pick us up from the airport for a small price, which we were more than happy to accept.
The service in the hotel is fantastic as are the staff, who greet you with a welcome and a smile each time they see you.
Lunch and evening meals are served to your table in the restaurant, the food is delivered promptly and is excellent quality. The drinks were very reasonably priced with the most expensive bottle of red only costing 14 Euros.
The breakfast is buffet style with not a lot of choice. So if you like your Big British breakfast you might be a little disappointed, but otherwise it was adequate.
Our room was lovely with a sea view and very modern, it had a very nice bathroom and more lighting options than many 4 star hotels in England. The air conditioning work well, but all TV channels were Italian, but hey ho your on holiday.
I think this hotel is a favourite for the Italians because we only heard one other British family staying there
Overall we loved our stay at the Gardenia hotel and would highly recommend it

We experienced excellent service from start to finish on our holiday at the Hotel Gardenia.
They picked us up in their own comfortable car from Venice Marco Polo Airport and returned us there at the end of our break.
Our room was clean and well-equipped, fresh towels every day, a dual shower (overhead and hand-held wand). Tiled floor throughout bathroom and bedroom. Spacious balcony.
Buffet breakfast 7.30am-10.30am. Good choice of fruit juices, cereals, cold meats, bread and rolls. Fried eggs ready cooked; boil you own eggs in convenient device. Help yourself to coffee and other hot drinks. Savour fresh honey cut straight off a honeycomb block.
If the fried eggs ran out, staff cooked some fresh and brought them to our table.
Small games room.
Bicycles of various sorts available for guests.
All staff professional, courteous and helpful.
Cars room key inserts into slot by door to power-up electricity to room.
Private beach with loungers and small tables.
Excellent hotel all-round, run by a friendly but most professional family.
We would have no hesitation about staying there again.

We went to Hotel Gardenia 4 years ago and loved it. We have just been for the second time and still love it. It is a family run hotel, the owners and the staff are friendly and helpful. They don't speak alot alot of English but they try there best and we didn't find it a problem because we learnt a few Italian words. The rooms are very clean and confortable. We always stay full board because the food is excellent, lots of choice and good portions. The beach is a stone throw away but if you don't want to go to the beach there is lots to do in Jesolo. There was a sand sulcpture championship whilst we were there, there is also an air show. Shopping is really good and there are plenty of cafe's and bars to choose from. We would definatly reccomend this hotel and will be going again next year.

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! Where do I begin?!
Myself and my husband stayed at the Gardenia from 5th-12th July, then went to stay in Venice, in a 4 star hotel. I much preferred this hotel, to the venice 4 star!
The service is exemplary...Simone, who I believe is the manager, can't do enough for you....absolutley nothing is too much trouble.Always a smile and a friendly hello from all of the staff. Matthew our waiter was fab!
We arrived by bus from Marco Polo airport, which I would definitley recommend. Very reliable service, on a clean, air conditioned bus with ATVO. You can buy your tickets online or when you get there, outside the terminal and it was just 10.5 euros for the 2 of us, including luggage, one way. The bus stop is only about 500meters from the hotel but we did have trouble finding it initially and wandered around for approx 30 mins in 30 degree heat...which made for a very hot and sticky trek with luggage. When we got to the hotel, Simone said that we should have let him know and they would have picked us up from the bus station....and true to his word, on our return journey, we were taken back to the bus station free of charge.
I would definitely recommend opting for at least half board....the evening meals are excellent and not to be missed. The standard and quality of food and service in their formal dining room would be hard to top in any restaurant you might try. You are asked to fill out a menu card at breakfast each morning, for the evening meal that day. There is bruschetta, salad, bread and crackers waiting on your table when you arrive in the dining room and your table is allocated for the duration of your stay, with you room number on it. From the menu, you choose a starter, main course and dessert. There are about 4 choices for each, which we found to be fine, and it is varied each night. Fot the starters there is for example, soup or seafood pasta. For the mains there is sea bass, veal, tomato and mozzarella, pasta, to list but a few. The desserts are to die for...utterly gorgeous and all presented and served as if it were a top class restaurant....which all made it that little bit more special. Dinner is served at approx 7.30pm. Some people might find this restrictive, having an exact time, rather than a window for dinner but we definitley didn't.
The breakfast is basic but adequate, with a fab coffee machine and the usual bread, meats, cheeses, eggs, jams, cereals and fruits available, as is the norm for a continental, buffet style breakfast. It always amazes me when people list all of these things then moan about it not being enough...what else do you want or need for your breakfast?!
I can't comment on the lunchtime food as we stayed half board but if the breakfast and dinner are anything to go by, I'm sure the lunch would be great.
The hotel itself is bright, colourful, (without being gaudy), airy and spotlessly clean. The rooms are modern and bright, with a little balcony, from which you can see the beautiful sandy beach. The bathrooms are on the small side but clean and bright. The shower does not have a tray and it is a "wetroom" style bathroom. This didn't botther us at all and the shower was perfectly fine, water pressure and temperature wise. The only thing the rooms are missing is a small fridge. That said, I would not hesittate in booking this hotel again, fridge or no fridge!
Jesolo itself is just gorgeous. Very few British people there at all...which I found a bonus...makes you feel like you're really on holiday! Mainly Italians and Germans while we were there. Basic English spoken in the shops, cafes, restaurants and hotels. Not that I expect any more than that...their English was better than my Italian and it would be ignorant to expect evrybody to speak perfect, fluent English! It added to the charm of this fantastic place.
The main road is pedestrianised at night and the atmosphere is just lovely, with brass bands playing on the street for entertainment, you can just sit and chill out, watching the world go by. There are the obligatory gift shops with fridge magnets, tea towels, cups, ash trays and the likes...mingled in with top designer shops, such as Gucci and Armani...so something for everyone. There are even amusemnet arcades and crazy golf, mingled in with the shops, and numerous cafes and restaurants.
The beach is beautiful and the sea, although not the clearest, as it is the med, is great for a dip, as it doesn't get too deep, even if you swim or walk out for quite a way.
You have an allocated parasol and sun beds on the beach, (hotel name and room number on the parasol, which nobody seemed to bother about, as long as you were in the right row for the hotel, the room number didn't seem to matter, as there were plenty to go round). The beach s beautiful, fine soft sand, with showers every few hundred yards. There were chidren's play areas dotted along the beach, to keep the little ones entertained.
To sum up, I would without hesitation recommend Jesolo and specifically this hotel, for a brilliant Venetian Riviera holiday and will without question be returning to this hotel, which thanks to the staff is made to feel like a home from home.
Thank you so much to Simone and all the staff for making this one of our favourite holidays ever! :-)
