Beautiful property close to the water and shopping area. Had an amazing dinner at their restaurant and the breakfast was delicious with a lot of options. This was our second time staying here and will do so again in we find ourselves back in Riva del Garda!

Fantastic stay in the best hotel in the best lake Garda town. Vanessa could not be more friendly and helpful and made our 40th wedding anniversary perfect.

What a superb hotel. Comfortable, great food , bar and amazing restaurant. We took a Suite with a private terrace with lake view, well worth the price. Special thanks to Vanessa on reception who seems to do most jobs in the hotel and looked after as us so well. Thank you - one day you should be front Office Manager!

Great hotel in a great location. Room on the small size with bed squashed against 1 wall and the pillows are a bit rubbish. Quite a bit of traffic noise which starts early at about 5.30 so did not have a great sleep. Ask for a quiet room and extra pillows.
But having said that the hotel was fine and in a great location so all good.
Avoid Sunday or Monday as bar and restaurant are shut and also lots of restaurants in the town are closed☹
The town is absolutely stunning and a must visit

We loved this hotel. The staff was wonderful. Everyone was happy and helpful and wanted us to enjoy ourselves. It was in a perfect location. Very close to the old city, but not loud or dirty. And the views of the mountains were great. We will come again. Ana, at the front desk, was especially helpful.

Fantastic hotel. I loved the decor, grounds, pool, staff, everything. I will be back here in a couple of years hopefully.

Great location, great restaurant, service and rooms are a bit old and unflexible

Pretty setting, pleasant staff. We were there in the off season, so everything seemed a little desolate. Hotel is in a lovely old building that has been renovated in dark glass-and-copper-mirror business hotel style. Garden is beautiful though.

This hotel is in need of some updating, but overall it is comfortable and has a clubby feel in the main living spaces. Our room overlooked the lake, but since it was on a lower floor, we really had to stand tall to see it over the rooftops. An old hot tub on our deck had been transformed into a large planter. Breakfast had a nice variety of options. Pretty grounds. Overall, a little threadbare but adequate.

Beautiful grounds and building very close to main square

The views and the outdoor and public areas of the hotel are top notch. The rooms are small but comfortable except for the bathroom. Shower is tiny, actually smaller than that, and hot water was problematic. Staff are great and the restaurant lived up to its 5 star rating!

Lovely staff. Great breakfast. Very convenient to shops, restaurants and lake. One of the rooms was quite dark and would be better if the decor was white and lighting brighter but other than that the hotel was great!

We loved Hotel Villa Miravalle. The staff were so lovely and friendly. The atmosphere was gentle and relaxed. And it is a short stroll down to the cafes and bars by the lake. The pool was immaculately clean and I loved swimming in it, looking up at the mountainside. We had a beautiful meal in the hotel restaurant one of the nights. The hotel breakfast buffet was terrific, even featuring a facility to boil your own eggs and I had a gorgeous latte from the coffee machine. (In other hotels we found the coffee pretty grim, so this was a welcome relief!) On arrival, we were delighted with the pool kit bag which was a lovely touch. Equally on leaving we were presented with beautiful cookie treats from the restaurant to eat on our journey to the airport. It was a very mellow stay and we didnt want to leave!

A perfectly furnished and cared for hotel. Two lovely helpful professional women on reception. And at breakfast nothing was too much trouble for the man and two women. I think the chef might have been a bit of a problem as I had an omelette one day but later I was met with polite excuses. They boiled eggs for me and asked how many minutes cooking I would like. We eat in the hotel one evening. We had to ask for a menu and when the red wine arrived it was so cold there was condensation on the bottle. The waiter said that it would warm up in a couple of seconds. We insisted and he brought another bottle. We usually dont bother to taste wine but expect to be asked, he just filled both glasses. We suggest that they have two refrigerators, one normal and one for red wine at the correct temperature. We liked the grass area separate from the pool but it was a mat of weeds, a little bit of care would put that right. Like a lot of hotels it lacked immediately available snacks and drinks. People who dont want lunch often like something in the afternoon and dont want to have to ask. Similarly, a waiter should occasionally walk round the pool and the grassed area. People dont want to spend a fortune on dinner but usually fancy a drink during the day. And of course, no teas made in room. These are tiny criticisms as it certainly merits five stars. We would recommend.

The Hotel was recommended to us and we were delighted from the start it is full of a traditional Italian charm whilst up to date with modern facilities, contemporary interiors, the mature gardens make lovely setting for breakfast.

Everything here was well done and enjoyable.
The only thing I could suggest would be to improve the morning espresso.

We had a wonderful week in Riva the Hotel and the resort exceeded ever expectation the hotel was so peaceful and relaxed as was the resort, just watch out for the mountain bikes! The choice of bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk was fantastic and there was choices. The Hotel is ideally located to stroll to the lake front, ferries and shops. Without doubt my new favourite place.

Nice hotel. Parking can be an issue when the hotel is full.
Restaurant was nice for dinner and breakfast was good.
Bathroom could be better and rooms need updating!

The hotel has a very convenient location in the town. You're about a one minute walk from the center. Very clean rooms. Mine had a nice view of the mountains and a small patio. The staff was very helpful and the pool was great. The restaurant is open for dinner and sits in a garden patio surrounded by lemon trees.

We stayed for 5 nights at the end of July on holiday. The two of us wanted a picturesque Italian town with plenty of eateries, views of the Alps, cultural things to do and we got it all. We climbed up to the Bastille and the little Chapel on the mountainside. (The path to both is immediately opposite the hotel.) A brief visit to Arco and a drive up to the Stelvio pass and back. We also went to the museum in town and climbed up the clock tower as well. Lots of places to eat and drink. We werent disappointed. The hotel staff were excellent, the room a good size, clean and tidy throughout plus free parking and wifi. All of the main attractions of Riva were easily accessible on foot.

Short stopover on way to Trieste. Nice and comfortable, excellent location.

Lovely hotel in old town of Riva del Garda. Facilities were more than would normally be expected for a 3 star rating. Breakfast could be taken on a terrace looking on to orange and lemon trees- the perfect start to a day. The hotel had a lovely pool to relax beside after a day's sight-seeing or more strenuous activity. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and make a return visit. Riva del Garda itself was a fabulous location for a holiday - great if you like biking- would also recommend Gardabikes.

Lovely hotel, great location next to the old town and a 5 minute walk to the port. The room itself was great, could use a mini bar though, the views are world class.
If you do stay be sure to eat in the restaurant, one of the most atmospheric venues. Treats from the chef and the best fillet steak i have ever eaten, we talked about it for days :)

This was a great hotel to stay at at a reasonable price. The staff were polite and really helpful which made our stay a relaxed and enjoyable one. In one person particular was a font of all local knowledge and recommended cycle routes which were beautiful that we may have over looked. I would highly recommend this hotel and if you are staying for more that a couple of nights avoid the economy room (which we did).
